I've been using Two Nuts and a Bolt Garage for many years. They have changed names and changed locations, but I have remained a customer of theirs. I find them to be friendly, honest, and their prices are reasonable. I usually take specialty cars to them, and prices for service would likely be more expensive elsewhere. The last time I was there4, they did a diagnostic and replaces sensors on a wheel bearing. I received very good feedback from Dave and Kirsten. Overall, they did well and the price was right. I would certainly recommend them.

AWFUL!!! He did a good job on an oil change. Then said he could do "anything" including re-upholster my SAAB. Paid him $1500 in advance. Said the job would be completed in one week, had an upholsterer on site who looked at my car. Wasn't ready in one week, said it would be a few more days, would pay for my car rental. Three plus weeks later, my car was sitting in the shop. The front passenger seat upholstery ripped out and a the beginnings of a sewn upholstery. The back seat scattered around the room, the front seat out of the car thrown on the floor. I asked for my car back after he said his upholsterer was not showing up for work, "had personnel problems"'. He put the passenger seat back in, loaded up the pieces of the broken down back seat and passenger seat. Took the car to another upholsterer, there were pieces missing including the back bottom seat. His assistant helped me find the pieces which were scattered all over the shop. The back passenger plastic back broken from being forced off; the armrest broken. He promised to refund my $1500 never did; promised to pay for my car rental $1100 wrote me a check then stopped payment. WARNING: stay away from this shop. AWFUL.

I took my 2000 Toyota 4 Runner 4WD, to this BBB A rated shop, for the first time ever, and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. With 175,000 miles on it, I was told by the dealer that it needed valve cover gaskets, an axle boot, and I knew it needed all the fluids replaced, plus it was only getting about 13 MPG. Dave warned me that it may also need brakes due to the leaking rear axle boot. I was extremely happy when I picked it up in that he saved me the additional cost of the brakes because they were able to be cleaned. The entire job cost much less than the dealer would have charged and due to the additional tune up, I'm now getting over 19 MPG! I definitely recommend this shop and will take my other vehicles there as well. Thanks

Brought my car here after i stupidly drove it through some water. I found this garage on Google and thought "why not"? I brought my car here basically in tears Cuz I was going to sell the car that day and was told the engine was shot and would probably never work again. I was introduced to Mr. Dave and his son and they worked on my car for at least 2 1/2 hours straight and then he called me at work and told me my intank was flooded but he was able to get the water off it and get it running and he told me a reasonable price for all the work. So grateful to these two words can not explain and i would definitely recommend to others.

The worst. Took my car in to be reupholstered. Paid in full in advance. Promised it would be ready in 1 week. After 3 weeks of being promised that the car would be ready again and again, picked up my car - the upholstery had been ripped off the passenger seat. The back seat was torn out. The pieces were scattered all over the shop. I gathered the pieces and put them in a box (the owner put the seat back and didn't bolt it down, that's how I drove the car off the shop). The guy who was supposed to do the upholstery never showed up to work. He said he would pay for the car rental, gave me a check and then stopped payment on the check. The worst. I have not received a refund, I have not been paid for the rental. Take a look at this owners Chatham County court records.

Nay, Dave Haberman is THE honest Mechanic in Savannah.
And...Two Nuts and a Bolt is THE ONLY Shop you should be trusting your car care needs to...
I grew up in Savannah, my mom grew up in Savannah, and throughout our driving lives we have been hornswoggled by almost every shady, incompetent, backwoods, deceitful nincompoop mechanic/shop in this town...
*** That was mostly before the advent of the internet - Where you can now go Google problems/symptoms your car is having - And/or parts and prices - So it has - OR SHOULD HAVE become a lot harder for the crappy mechanics mafia out there to rip people off...but alas, they still try...
I mean, literally, every mechanic I had been to BEFORE CHOOSING Mr. Haberman, everyone of them in Savannah were shady, dishonest, and what's worse most of the time they were not only dishonest but they reeked of out right incompetence...
Ask around...I asked...I know from my own experience dealing with at least 15 shops in this town throughout my driving history, plus my mom is nigh on 60 years old and she has been swindled/bamboozled by many shops in Savannah...and if you ask anyone for a recommendation of a good mechanic in Savannah...alas...they are at a loss...
Nobody can name a good/consistent/honest/competent mechanic in this town to save their life...
Thank goodness for David Haberman and Two Nuts and a Bolt. The ONLY Honest/Competent mechanic in Savannah.

I was having some tire issues...now generally Mr. Haberman doesn't put new tires on cars...or he didn't at that time...so I - thought well this should be a simple matter anyway...I'll just try Savannah Tire, Goodyear and Firestone...
What a nightmare, disaster, mistake, distressing situation visiting those poor excuses for humanity were...I'll even tell you which Goodyear, Firestone and Savannah tire it was...the Goodyear on Whitemarsh Island, Firestone on Abercorn (Southside) and the Savannah Tire across from Bartlett...
My god what a bunch of idiots...not only did they want to run up a bill on me to the tune of approx...4-5 hundred dollars...Firestone refused to even do anything for me (I had a bad tire that simply needed replacing)...Unless I consented to a bunch of other "Upsell" work...So they sent me away with a bad tire because I wouldn't consent to buying a round of tires, getting an alignment - and an assortment of other "Upsell" shenanigans...
Well...at my wits end I took my car to Mr. Haberman for advice...he fixed the issue...I was in and out of his shop in about ten minutes - and it cost me about $20...
Mr. Haberman maintains my much older Asian car and my moms newer American car and thank goodness he does...
If you know what I am talking about out there...give me an amen...Savannah has a crappy/dishonest/backwoods good ol' boy mechanic mafia...
Thank goodness Mr. Haberman is not a part of it...
So if you're a Savannah native or a transplant and you're tired of being bamboozled go see David Haberman...He's right by Oglethorpe Mall, Across from Hunter...
There is nothing (or little) more valuable...in this tight economy than finding a decent/honest mechanic and putting that worry, about your cars health to rest...
You can solve all your bad mechanic worries and car calamities by simply making Dave Haberman and Two Nuts and a Bolt your mechanic/shop...

This father/daughter operation is very friendly and fair and has a very knowledgeable team of technicians. I went to have my aftermarket suspension changed out, and in the process they offered to fix an electrical sensor issue I had known about for a while. They quoted the job at approx. 2hrs, and it ran longer, but only charged me for the 2 hrs. I had a chance to chat with the technician before and after, and I got to inspect the work, which was very clean & professional. Pricing and quality is awesome. They have oil change deals all the time. I found them on the car talk guys website, and I couldn't be happier. In a world where you learn to be untrusting of auto repair shops, these guys definitely prove to be the exception.

PLEASE AND REPEAT PLEASE...Do not go anywhere near this place with your vehicle....I took my Range Rover there to find out why my rear tire was getting hot...these people got us for $1800.00..they told us that we needed rotors, brake pads, and brake sensors.....Ok got our vehicle back and it was still doing the same thing...took it back to them and never heard a word from them until we had to call to get and update...they told us that the part was back ordered and they will be contacting us...NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN....WOULD NOT ANSWER THE PHONE...OK MONTH 3....I called and they told me that they could not fix my vehicle and that they would be willing to tow it to the Ranger Rover dealership...ok how about Ranger Rover dealership called and told us the that emergency park brakes was broken...and that we needed "Rotors, brake pads and censors....THE SAME PARTS THAT TWO NUTS AND A BOLT suppose to have put on...and Dave had the nerve to tell me to bring it back to them and they will fix it over...Really...I will continue to post this because I do not want anyone else go thru what we went thru...PLEASE TAKE HEED IN THE REVIEWS WHEN YOU SEE THEM......WOW..AND I WISH I COULD POST THIS WITHOUT ANY STARS...

Dave and his team have always done an excellent job on the car I purchased from them. Coming from a person who does not 'trust mechanics' he has my trust and recommendation for anyone I know driving a Volkswagon.
