Finding a trustworthy mechanic is a really tough proposition in today's world. Luckily there are business like Wornall Automotive to change the story. Ryan and Mark are professional, straightforward and welcoming as can be. The shop itself is clean and comfortable. Every time I go in someone greets me immediately, no long waits to see if someone is actually going to come to the front desk like in some places. I know that any time I need to bring my car in, they will not only take care of my car, but they will also take care of me as well. I've been impressed with this place for two years now since I found out about it. Do yourself a favor and stop your search for that trustworthy mechanic you can turn to...they're right here at Wornall Auto waiting for you!

This is the best auto repair shop I have been to anywhere. They did a same day brake, pad and rotor on my SUV for a shockingly reasonable price, then I showed them my receipt from the same at Firestone for my van just a couple months previous and the Firestone price was quadruple what they charged me! The service was fast and courteous and I will be taking our vehicles here for as long as we are in Kansas City. Keep up the great work guys!!

Dispicable. That's all I can say. I made a specific service request and they refused to perform the requested service. They identified a rediculous number of unneeded repairs and refused to release my car until I paid them for the rediculouse repair estimate that I declined. So I paid them for the rediculous estimate, and called a TOW TRUCK to get my car away from this establishment as quickly as possible. YES I PAID A TOW TRUCK AND THESE LOUSY *!%!@ To send my car to a reputable repair shop. I saved myself over $2000!! Wow...that's not a minor error. If you're not a mechanic, or a mechanial engineer like myself.... you might want to listen to this!!

Wornall Automotive is probably the best shop I've ever received service from. The staff is wonderful - friendly, honest, and more than helpful! I've only gone in there twice for my car, but unless I'm doing the work myself, I will always choose to take my car to them. They replaced my fuel pump with a respectable price. They kept me updated while they were holding my car at the shop every day. The shuttle service is very appreciated! It was nice being able to drop my car off before work and then get a ride from the shop. My second trip was for my fuel gauge; it had stopped working. Thanks to the wonderful warranty from replacing the fuel pump, I was able to get that fixed up for free! :D Thank you so much, again! I will always choose this shop over any other in Kansas City.

Just got my car back and it runs great and everything is working again. It is hard to find a place that actually cares about its customers the way wornall automotive does. they really take the time to explain what is wrong and break it down into smaller pieces for everyone to understand. we would not take our cars to any other shop because we know we would not get the same service anywhere else.

I have been going to Wornall Automotive the last few times my poor, aging but awesome Toyota started needing the typical maintenance that any car over 100K miles is going to need. I originally ended up there out of convenience of location. But after having such good customer experiences each & every time, I have returned for follow up maintenance (for example today when my check engine light came on, & the car started puttering at a stoplight). And I plan to utilize their services again in the future, as needed.
The staff is very polite, knowledgeable, and extremely well versed in COMMUNICATING to the customer what might be needed, what they have diagnosed, as well as long term potential needs for your vehicle. Services that they offer, which are appealing to ME personally are the option to be picked up/dropped off, a night drop off key option, and a very helpful website.
They keep very detailed records of their service on your vehicle (which I actually have had issues with at other places in town). And again, I have to stress HOW nice & helpful every single person I have dealt with thus far has been. Specifically this most recent visit, I spoke with both Gary & Mark. They both managed to break everything down to me in MY language (which sometimes can be difficult because I ask many questions).

They did a good job on my daughters car and were very good with communication however once I brought my BMW to be looked at (which was running great by the way, just wanted to check it out for service) you would have thought I was deaf, dumb, and blind, holding a giant bag of money. They attempted to hustle me big time. I took my car a few blocks over to Doug's Foreign Motorwerks and got a completely different, a much more reasonable and affordable reception. My car is still running great over a year later.

I recently had some work done here and really appreciated how the people kept me informed throughout the repair process. Once the job was complete I even received follow up calls making sure everything was still running smoothly. A couple months later I ran into some more car trouble after moving to St. Louis. I contacted Wornall about the situation and they offered to pay for the repairs because the car trouble pertained to their work months prior. Excellent customer service.

The guy at the front desk was incredibly rude. After treating me like an idiot, he scheduled me an appointment. When I called to check what time I should bring my car in he told me "early" and they "should" be able to get to my oil change that day. Even though I made an appointment days before. I canceled it and am happily taking my business elsewhere.

Wornall Automotive is the best place in KC!!! I've taken my car there a few times and they have the BEST customer relations. They are always honest with what I need and tell me what's most important and what can wait. They double checked some services another shop in Waldo said I had to get done for safety reasons. Wornall Automotive confirmed a few of the problems but said the other stuff either could wait or didn't need to be done. I will ALWAYS recommend Wornall Automotive. Give them a shot, you won't regret it!!

We take our vehicles to Wornall Automotive because we trust them. They always do it right the first time. Customer service is top-notch!! They will let you know exactly what is wrong and how much it will cost to fix it before they work on it, and it will be exactly what they told you - NO surprises. Just bought a used car and took it to Wornall Automotive for a checkup. The seller made the repairs no questions asked before the sale. That is the reputation Wornall Automotive has. If you are looking for an honest car shop Wornall Automotive is the place to go!!
