Terrence delivered on his promise, synchronized the carbs and returned my custom, vintage bike within days, as agreed. Also provided excellent advice to continue the modifications on my own. Will definitely use him again. The man knows his business.

My first time meeting Terrance I drive 3 hours with 2 motors, a box full of parts and a frame, this was my last shot at restoring my once beautiful '08 CBR1000RR. As most reading this would know, CBR's are known for burning oil, in 2012 they updated the part # of the piston rings and I figured I'd give it a try and save a few gallons of oil between changes.
I made the mistake of letting a 'friend' do it for me (12/2012), and then taking it to another friend's shop to fix it(04/2014), by the time Terrance received my bike (04/2015) it was a box of parts, didn't run, dead battery, nothing good could come at it from here. So I packed up the bike, borrowed a truck and drove 3 states to Upper Marlboro, MD thanks to the advice of a few 'Trackday Junkies'. As of writing this article I have what seems like a brand new motorcycle, in near-perfect condition. The motor work is flawless, workmanship is flawless, communication was (albeit excessive) excellent. If you want and appreciate good quality work, and are within a 6 hour drive of this shop, it is worth it.

I met Terrence in 2013 in my condo/apartment complex. I showed him my bike and mentioned the things I wanted to do to it. He told me he works on bikes and has his own shop. After talking with him for a while, I knew he was as legit as they come. I spoke with other mechanics, but they were always "iffy", but Terrence was always spot on and up to date with everything motorcycle related. He eats, sleeps, and breaths motorcycles.
I took my bike to him last March/April 2014 - He did a Dyno and Exhaust work on it. My bike rides like a dream...
Terrence gave me a slight discount, was flexible with time, and even gave me a ride to the metro, which I really appreciate.
However, he isn't a push-over, so please don't be some cheap SOB with him... His work is quality and top notch. Just be honest and up-front with him, but don't be cheap. Everyone hates a cheap SOB...
Lastly, Terrence has a customer for life and I recommend my friends to see him.

I've known Terrence since I started riding back in 1999 before he even had a shop. And I just had to write to thank him helping me in a major way. This is probably my 4th bike I've had and I always went to Terrence when I needed work done or the bikes tuned. This time I bought a bike from out of town and now I know why it was so cheap. After really getting a chance to ride it, it didn't feel right. This thing had been pieced back together and had all sorts of loose bolts and issues. It was to the point that Terrence was honest with me and the best bet was to go over the entire bike. He went through checking and torquing EVERY piece on the bike and making sure it was right and then put it on the dyno to make sure it was tuned right.
I rode the bike for the first time again the other night and it was a completely different bike. Can't thank him enough for being honest with me and doing the job right! That's why I'm a customer for life!

I'm not sure what the other reviewer is talking about. I took my bike to Terrence to dyno tune my bike. He ended up tuning my bike on three different occasions to get the most out of it in different weather conditions. The bike had unforeseen issues on the dyno and required extra time on top of everything else. I wasn't charged a penny and was delivered more than I expected. I'm taking my other bike in next week.

I found out 1 week before attending 2 track days 1000 miles from home that my freeze plugs had been forced out during the previous winter, making my oil look exactly like a chocolate milkshake. And my radiator cap was damaged. And my foot brake lever was broken. Terrance got me back in working order before my track days, updating me as he found things, including a picture of the guts of my gummed up engine. In the end, the cost to me was way more than fair, and my bike runs better than before. Highly recommended.

Just got home from A&J cycles. Terrance is a good dude and does GREAT work. He just knows his shit. The dyno is awesome. I'll be going back shortly to order parts. The only people that whine about his work are the cheap ones that never wanna pay for good work. Cheap work ain't good and good work ain't cheap!!!

The owner is a liar and thief. Sold me a title less motorcycle. With an engine that broke in two months and took 9 months to fix it and charged me for it!!!! He is dishonest at best. And at most a crook. Like another reviewer said check the Maryland court records.
