Back in November, I had brought my Acura in to Pat and had phenomenal service. It made perfect sense to bring in my 2008 Lexus RX350 when I was rear ended a couple months ago. Pat and his staff made sure my car was taken care of. They fixed up my bumper and detailed it as well. My car was done within the day and ready to go. I couldn't be happier! The service was just as good the second time around as it was the first time.

PERILLO COLLISION CENTER IS SIMPLY THE BEST!
Recently I took my car for detaling, some dings that i had on the door needed to be fixed and also I had some work done on the hood ( i took it to three other places before I take it to Perillo Collision Center) and PAT and his CREW did an AMAZING job..
I can say that my car looked as the first time when I purchased it..
I really liked how everything went so smooth, from the moment when i dropped off the car till the moment i picked it up.
Keep up the good work PERILLO COLLISION CENTER! !!
I Highly recommend it to anyone who needs any work done to their vehicle or just a detailing. PAT will take care of your car and will make you feel like a ROCKSTAR!!! :)
THANK YOU JOE PERILLO, for the Amazing Signature Full Auto Detail special that you gave to all your friends and you were right, I'M VERY HAPPY I brought my car to Perillo Collision Center...

Got involved in an accident last month with my X6, right front side was significantly damaged. When I initially called Perillo to inquire about how I should make the arrangement with them to get the vehicle repaired, Aman Tahiliani was the one that answered my call. He clearly explained how the process would go and guided me throughout the process in an extremely professional manner. When the car was towed to the collision center, Aman immediately came to the collision center to greet me and inspected the damages and assured me that all arrangements for replacement parts and labor will be scheduled so I would have the vehicle back asap.
Throughout the repair Aman worked with my insurance claim adjuster for all the necessary paperworks and approval, while also keeping me updated with all the details of the repair and schedule.
Overall, given the scale of the damages and number of components needed to be replaced, the whole repair took about 4 weeks. But Aman made the whole process hassle-less for me, which I sincerely appreciate!!!

Aman is THE man! This guy has some serious potential. On multiple occasions Aman helped me with my M4 at Perillo CC. He was more than willing to go way out of his way to make me feel like a valued customer by thoroughly explaining where my car is and at what step of the process it is. He took pics upon request and we had many great conversations over the phone and in person. It is hard to find someone as good as Aman that has the technical knowledge and the customer service attitude. I highly recommend stopping by and asking for this guy.

Pat and the crew were as helpful as can be in getting my bumper taken care of in both a timely and very professional manner. Above all else though, the car looks great!
I've dealt with some terrible shops over the years, it's just very refreshing to come to a place that values honesty and workmanship over racking up a huge tab of insurance dollars.
Excellent work guys, will happily recommend this shop to anyone I know the needs some work done!

I had a great experience working with Perillo Collision Center as my TireRack Installer. Perillo BMW is the dealership where I purchased my 3 series, but Perillo collision has moved to a new dedicated location which, in my opinion, was easier to get to than the dealership. I never write reviews, but Carey and his team at Perillo Collision went over and beyond to make my experience quick and convenient. I choose Perillo because they are affiliated with my dealership so I trusted they would be top notch. They had many high end cars in the new facility and everything looked well cared for, but offer the same low TireRack installation price.
They were able to get me in the day before New Years Eve with little notice, and worked with me to accommodate my schedule. They got me in quick, were courteous, and even pulled extra guys from their team to make sure I was out in time to get back to work. These guys will definitely do whatever is in their power to make sure their customers receive great service.
They offered my a couple wheel storage and cleaning services that I regrettably declined. It's harder than I thought to properly clean large wheels. They will store your wheels/tires seasonally and have then professionally machine cleaned for a fee. When I decided I didn't need the service, they put my summer wheels in my car as requested, making sure they were wrapped up so they wouldn't ruin my interior.
I will continue to trust Perillo Collision when I need something done on my car, including services unrelated to wheels/tires.
I highly recommend these guys! If you live in Chicago, Perillo should be the first place you call when choosing a TireRack installer.
Big thanks to Carey and his whole team, who were all professional and genuine car guys.

I've been a client for years but the new location on Halsted is a huge upgrade and probably the most welcoming body shop I've ever been to. The service is top notch. Any time I've had work done I've drove out of there with my vehicle looking like the day it first left the lot. Pat is always spot on with his estimates, super helpful with any questions, and has a "we'll make it work for you," attitude. Wouldn't even think of going anywhere else.

First of all this review is far overdue. I dealt with Perillo collision back in December and let me say that their service is second to none! I learned a valuable lesson with regards to valet parking, don't do it! Took my fianc out to eat for our 9 yr anniversary to a local eatery near downtown Chicago, I wanted the evening to go smooth and decided to let the valet park my 2015 Grand Cherokee, worst mistake I've ever made!
I came back out after a great meal and a happy fianc and went home. The next day I go to work thinking nothing other than how great last night was. That's when a colleague approaches me and says, "what happen to your truck?" my heart dropped.
I ran outside to see that my rear bumper, driver side taillight and lower bumper valence had been, crashed, cracked, scratch, scuffed, the list goes on. After a few days of going back and forth with the valet company, which shall remain nameless because I'm better than that, they finally sent me to a repair center to get an estimate written up.
Perillo Collision Center is where I ended up. I dealt with Ken, and from the first call to the pick up of my Jeep Ken was there! Such great customer service skills, that even I was amazing. For me to be amazing especially since Ive worked in customer service for the last 9 yrs really says something about his professionalism. Great overall guy very humble and respectful and can't say enough! All the staff at Perillo was great, but Ken he was outstanding!
My Jeep looked amazing better than the day I purchased it, considering that it was raining. The quality of their work speaks for it self and you will not be disappointed. I am a very anxious person which makes it difficult to wait, with that said it took them about a week to return me my Jeep. I Would recommend you go and pay them a visit if you ever make the mistake of valet parking, or ever find your self in a fender bender you won't regret it!

I will take you back almost a year back:
On April 2014, I was involved in a car crash that I was not at fault for. Obviously, since I have always done my work at Perillo BMW, I thought this was the place to be. Well, guess what? I was wrong. I had to push them to get my vehicle done, and it was like if they were doing me a favor to fix my vehicle. That is what my insurance was paying them to do, so no, it's not a favor, it's their job. I will say they compensated the car rental (obviously, no choice because they delayed the repairs, not the insurance company fault or my fault, this is just ownership). They were doing a bit of extra repairs on top of the car accident. I had them fix my back bumper since it had a couple scratches and a side ding. I also was going to pay for a k40 to be installed in my system, but they compensated for that as well. After all the going back and forth, I only had to pay my deductible which was 500 dollars and 250 for the extra repairs and the k40 system. This however, does not give me back the stress, time, and money I spent driving back and forth to get my issues resolved. To this day, I am still having car issues which is the reason why I am writing this review. I am stuck with a big repair job that supposedly had warranty from Perillo Collision Center. I am not longer in Illinois, and they will not answer my phone calls or emails (proof can be provided). I was recently on the highway and my steering wheel just malfunctioned. I turned my car on and off and then it started working again. It seems there is an issue with the steering angle sensor and with the lines that they HAD repaired and got payed for by Geico to repair. I am writing this review so everyone knows what kind of company Perillo Collision Center is and their "warranty" means nothing, because they will not honor it. I will be repairing my vehicle out of my own pocket and taking them to small claims court so they can take ownership of the repairs as they promised. I am done chasing them to do the right thing, I should not have to email multiple times to get a response. By the way, the last people I dealt with were Aaron and Jay. They were the ones I emailed as well. I would email Joe himself, but the last time I talked to the guy he just tried to justify and cover up for those crooks. I will be filing a complaint and continue to educate people on my poor experience there. I know they probably still won't care about this review, but guess what? I don't care what they think either, I care what everyone else has to say, and if this review helps someone pick out another body shop over this one, then I am happy.

Visited Chicago and my car got shot! Yeah, that actually happened. It was towed to Perillo to have the engine and hood repaired. Aaron was awesome - he patiently explained everything and made sure all of my concerns were addressed. He even saved the bullet the mechanic had fished out of the engine. It was super obvious that this dealership is incredibly busy yet Aaron never seemed rushed and was a total professional.

This place is really good. I was referred to Pat by my chiropractic Dr. Tony who is awesome too. I took my car to multiple places to get an estimate. I drive a 2003 BMW 325i. The trunk was damaged and there was some rust on the quarter panel. Pat took one look at the car, gave me a fair deal and kept me posted regarding the status of the work.
He really likes what he does and is a honest man. He did a "BANG UP JOB"...LOL. The car looks new and very clean. I guess I can drive this for a few more years since Pat gave this old timer a face lift.
You should check out his new facility, really nice and state of the art.
Thanks Pat....

I wanted an estimate and got a whole bunch of people who didn't want to take ownership and help me.
I had problems on the phone and when I arrived. Even though I was clear that I was there for an estimate for auto body repair, I still got ushered from one person to another: the valet guy, the cashier, the car sales people, and finally the mechanics.
The mechanic guy who helped me was nice enough, but eh... Although he told me about their superior craftsmanship standards of BMWs and Mercedes, he was the absolute laziest when it came to giving me an estimate. He asked to see the estimate from Gold Coast Auto Body and then he copied all of the parts and labor into his computer program, printed it, and gave it to me.
I got three estimates that day and two of the places (Gold Coast Auto Body and C & W Autobody) each took their time washing the damaged part, taking pictures, entering it into their system, and then patiently explaining it all to me. I don't know why this guy at Perillo would brag about his excellence and then copy someone else's work.
I must admit that his sales pitch about his painting ability and stuff pulled at my heart-strings. I liked it. What I didn't like was not reaching someone on the phone, being passed around when I was there, and then having the laziest (and most costly) estimate. Oh - and he said that they would take twice as long as the other body shops. What a specious load of crap!

I brought my car in for body work yesterday after someone hit one of my doors. I was taken care of immediately by Sargon. Sargon was so sweet and accommodating, and very professional. The entire process was explained to me in detail including what I should expect. I felt very comfortable leaving my car in their hands. I also got a ride back to work which was unexpected. Hands down the best body shop service I've ever received.

While our overall experience with Perilo's body shop was pleasant, I'd like to specifically thank Ken for his work. Throughout the length of working with the collision center and Perillo, he was extremely reliable, professional and personable. Ken returned each one of our calls and emails promptly, answering all of our repetitive (and probably annoying) questions and concerns.
In addition to some minor body work, we had our 328 detailed. When the work was done, Ken went over the vehicle with us to make sure we were completely happy, even busting out a towel and some solution to make sure every part of the car was perfect after we noticed some residue on random parts of the car.
He definitely made our experiences worthwhile and pleasant,. I would absolutely recommend asking for Ken as your contact if you need to visit the body shop.

I had European delivery of a 2015 X1 earlier this year.
When it arrived at Perillo from Europe and I took delivery, several items that belonged in the car were missing (cup holder, iPhone bracket).
The car was not properly tested either - the BMW Assist has never worked. Repeated calls to BMW have not gotten the problem resolved.
Three weeks after delivery, I was struck by another vehicle, damaging the rear driver's side door. You have had the car for repair now since Wednesday the 17th. I understand the replacement door arrived Friday. The estimate provided the insurance company did not have 48 hours of labor on it - I should have had this car returned to me by now.
The salesman also instructed the service department about the broken BMW Assist system. Was it repaired? I don't know - Mr. Israel Rodriguez your service manager refuses to return my call or respond to my emails.
Then today I found out a much more serious problem. Because this is a brand-new 2015 vehicle, when the car was damaged I wanted to have the best possible repair - hence my taking it back to the dealer for the body work. The body shop manager Mr. J. Diaz has been mostly hiding from me, and when I went to the dealership today (two days after the car was supposed to be ready, it still wasn't) Mr. Diaz continued his deception and false promises. I've tape recorded his employees when they've made these false statement.
But then to my surprise, the Managing Director of the dealership Trish Perillo Inguagiato tells me that Perillo BMW doesn't own "Perillo Collision Repair". It's a completely different company, and has nothing to do with the BMW dealership! This despite me being told by both the salesman Alan Sahagian and the estimator Aaron that this was part of Perillo BMW!
I asked to meet with the service manager Israel Rodriguez, and a different guy came out and tried to pretend he was him. And finally demanding to see Mr. Israel Rodriguez, he continued the deception instead of honestly admitting he couldn't do anything because the body shop is owned by someone else! Perillo apparently gets a lot of angry customers, because this service manager has a guy who acts like his bodyguard.
I'm regretting my change from 15 years of Audi ownership to BMW. I never had such poor service from Audi. I buy new cars every couple years. That's the end of my BMW experiment. They people are ethically challenged.

I am busy physician and today is finally my day off and although I have accumulated a number of chores to do, instead, I am going to write about my painful experience with Perillo Collision Center and will consider it to be a part of my service to the community.
My vehicle BMW X3 was in need of repair of 2 tires after a small collision, it's on the factory warranty so BMW customer service provided complimentary towing to BMW Perillo Collision Center. I immediately received a bunch of calls from Jeff (collision specialist) who gave me multiple tips on what language I should use when talking to my insurance representative to get claim covered. I was promised that repair will be completed by the end of that week (in 4 days). GEICO estimator Chris was quick, efficient and kept me in the loop of the events until the check to the dealership was issued. And that's when my customer service nightmare began. A week passed by, I reached out to Jeff, who was apologetic and mentioned that due to some mysterious mistake, wrong tires were ordered and few more days are needed to straighten this out, and that I will be getting a call the following day to be updated on the progress of the repair (never happened). I am no stranger to being patient, so that is why i let another week passed by, Jeff was clearly ignoring my multiple messages. Now it has been 3 weeks of this customer service nightmare and my day off, after leaving another message for Jeff I called customer service line and a lady told me that there is no one I can talk to about this issue but Jeff, after I insisted, I was transferred to Erin Brown. I am really hoping that Erin has better work ethics than Jeff and will keep his word to get the issue resolved today. I was told that Jeff had headaches, and sure, I feel sorry for him, but I can not validate this excuse because in my line of work, if I someone is not capable of performing his/her duties I am obligated to intervene before potentially fatal mistakes happen. I bought an expensive car and was willing to pay extra with hopes that it comes with promised BMW quality customer service. Unfortunately it turns out to be highly overpriced service in monetary (over $6K paid by my insurance + my deductible ) as well as moral expenses. I am going to share this experience with customer service at BMW and GEICO and, of course, my community and friends. I really hope this will help you to get better.

Beware! I brought my car to fix the bumper, all fine if expensive. When I got it back, there was a nail in the tire. And the sunglasses in the armrest had disappeared.
Luckily the supervisor found it the next day, hidden away elsewhere in the car. Why? Because this someone had taken it out, destroyed it, and had to hide it. It is completely warped. And expensive fix just got more expensive for me.

I went in to get an estimate for a rear door collision to be repaired. I was pretty much set to hand over the keys to have the car fixed until Tom greeted me as if I was the biggest idiot. He talked to me like a kindergartner and as a result I asked for a detailed estimate. He asked me to wait while he surveyed the car. When he was done, he handed me a piece of paper and said thanks and walked away. On the form, was a single line that listed the location of the repair and the cost. Seriously?
The other estimates I received from competitors, while exactly the same amount of money, were detailed. They listed line by line what they would need to do to the repair and the estimated hours for each.
I won't be going to Perillo. My advice - don't assume your customers are idiots. Don't speak to your customers as idiots. And even, if by chance, you may provide the best service in Chicago, don't act rude. Your staff requires serious customer service training.

After an accident that took off my driver's side rear-view mirror and dented the driver's side rear panel and back bumper, Jeff Lewis and the team at Perillo Collision Center did an amazing job on the body work and repainting. Jeff even gave me a great deal on an add-on full detail and touch-up paint that took every Chicago parking nick and scrape out of my doors and front bumper. The car now looks brand new! And Jeff kept in touch at all hours of the day via email to keep me up to date on progress. I couldn't be happier with the customer service offered by Jeff and the results produced by Perillo Collision Center. I would recommend them to anyone.

I should have more closely reviewed the negative comments, b/c I experienced something very similar to other reviewers. Dropped the car off while going on vacation for 11 days. Got the estimate the week before and had them confirm they could have it finished before I got back.
at 3pm on the day I was scheduled to pick it up at 5:30, I get an email that the car would not be finished that day (after 11 days) and no offer for a loaner/rent a car, etc. I bitched and moaned and they gave me a rental. After returning the rental, they didn't pay for the full rental fee arguing that I kept it an extra day (the rental car closed early. It was an extra $30 which they wouldn't pay after being late on $1,500 worth of repairs.
Furthermore, the work included an interior and exterior detail. The interior detailer didn't clean the seats (light stains which wiped off with a wet paper towel were still present upon pick-up).
While I was waiting to pick up my car, I heard them approach another customer who was waiting for their car that they had damaged the door accidentally while the car was in for repairs and needed to keep it for a week to repair.
It seems like the place lacks good project management and communication and then doesn't have the decency to take financial responsibility for their mistakes.

I have had several experiences with Perillo Collision Center, all of which have been excellent. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, honest and realistic and the work has always been thorough. My car always looks fantastic after being detailed and the outcome of repair work has been better than expected.
I have brought my car in for repair on two separate occasions after some significant damage from two different accidents. After repair, I was very pleased with service and my car looked better than new. The staff is also helpful in navigating and clarifying what would otherwise be extremely frustrating insurance involvement/issues.

I will never take my Car anywhere else! Thanks to Patrick Gavin I am absolutely thrilled with my recent visit to Perillo. I took my 2014 Nissan Car in for a crashed door, not only did they replace the door but also detailed the whole car!!!! I had been to the beach about 4 times and my car had sand in all of the deepest creases which I thought would be impossible to clean. Also, my radio screen had been damaged from a car freshener that leaked onto the screen and had crusted on there and then got worse when I was told to remove it with acetone! My Nissan dealer told me that my only hope was to replace the whole radio which would have cost me about $2,000! I don't know how they did it at Perillo but they worked miracles! My radio is like new! Hell! My whole car is like NEW! Also, I drove on a street with fresh tar and I got Tar all over my wheels and side of the car it was horrible. They cleaned that too!!! Spotless! All I went in for was the crashed door and they detailed my whole car! My car is like new!!! No extra charges!!! No hidden fees! Patrick Gavin helped me from the start! He was realistic and honest! He did not make any false promises! He was real with me. I dropped off my car on a Monday and told him I had to go out of town on a road trip on that Friday! He said he would try his best but he didn't promise me anything, just that he would try to have it done by thursday and if not he would get the finishing touches done when I returned. I got a call on thursday morning to pick up my car before 5pm. Thank you David and Chris for staying an extra hour late so I could pick up my car because I couldn't make it until 6pm! You guys are awesome!!! I was so thrilled when I saw my Car! And it was ready in 4 days!! Thats Incredible! Thank you Perillo for doing more than expected! My wife and I were in an accident that was not our fault. We went through the other insurance company for repairs and got our car back with a bumper that did not fit properly. Perillo CC, particularly Dan, helped us to fight the insurance company for a new bumper that fit while the insurance company was trying to skimp on the parts. Perillo CC was very flexible and we would return for future repairs.

I got my car detailed at Perillo after I had some preventative maintenance done. The car looks great and they only had the car for a couple hours. They bathed the wheels in acid, I've never seen my rims so shiny. Very nice.
Perillo is slightly expensive but I guess that is to be expected on the 1000 block of North Clark Street.

Short story. I got hit two years ago and took the car to Perillo who worked with J. Cosmetic Services. After really crappy ball drops and two return trips (rental car and all) to have the same thing fixed - Mr. Perillo refunded me the entire cost of the repair.
So, because at heart, I am a nice person, I decided to give them a chance again when I got hit this year.
WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH ME????
Now apparently it is Perillo Collision Center - but sadly all the same people and this place is a complete joke. You have to babysit them through the entire process. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. They have no respect for your time and take no accountability. And the manager Jay - GOOD NIGHT! I'm sure his mom loves him but he has no business interfacing with customers or managing a business of any kind.
You have been warned.
If you drop your car off there, be sure to pick up a fork so you can stab yourself in the throat as you work with these clowns.

My truck was vandalized very bad. I took the truck to Perillo for repair. The insurance came at me with a very low ball estimate but after Perillo took the car apart, they discovered a lot things the unsurance company didn't initially pick up. After the estimate, I left the truck with Perillo. I just picked up my truck yesterday and it looked absolutely brand new. They took an extra day to complete the job but it was the best spent extra day. A+ job and A+ communication the whole way through. This is the second car I took to Perillo for body work, and they did another great job! Perillo has earned my business permanently as long as the staff remains the same. Thanks again!

only 1 star because i could n't pick zero star. Completely 100% agree with everything ANNIE G said. I had been dealing with these people for the last 2 months and after $6000+ insurance and I paid for my car, it still not completely fixed. Have to go back there again to deal with these people. I mean what the hell is wrong with this place? why why why? Please stay away. Shame on me for not checking for any reviews before I sent my car here. When the accident happened I really thought the actual dealer who sold my car would be the best choice. And I really didn't have time to check for reviews. Hopefully, some of you are more careful and actually read reviews before sending your car to this place. Please stick with Gerber or someplace anyplace but Perillo Collission.
