I will give more than 5 stars for the excellent service! My break pads came from the manufacturer which they ordered. Tristan cleaned the rotors and clips. grease the calipers and polished the hubs. The whole assembly was free from rust and ready to roll again.. it was a worth the money service and you can feel the difference and quality of the service when you drive.. this shop will definitely the new home of my car. Great job tristan! Lab you pards!

Great, fast service and great prices. Every day I feel like this place gets busier and I can completely understand why: it's the best repair shop around!
We've been coming here every since Tristan opened up shop years ago. I love being able to say I know my mechanic! My dad even travels out (or has his car towed) from the southside of Chicago to Real Autohaus to get fixed- now that's loyalty!
Tristan has always been an awesome guy, but his staff is just as great as him. All the guys who work here are so cool and always willing to help answer any questions I have (which tend to be a lot...).
I definitely recommend Real Autohaus to anyone (just as long as it doesn't get too busy for me to have my car fixed)! You will become a loyal customer too!

Fantastic work, really nice guys, and an affordable price. I went in for an oil change and a thorough inspection because I was about to drive from Chicago to New York and they did a great job assessing everything that could use work in my car. They also pointed out that all of the problems I had could be fixed or could be left and it wouldn't really be a big deal. This honesty was hugely important to me. I decided to get a few of the things fixed, but not all due to budget and asked for recommendation on what should be fixed. They told me their logic of safety then maintenance suggested two great repairs that made my car feel much better and fixed a rattling I had previously blamed on the bumper (it was actually a loose sway bar). They said it would take another day (already 2-3pm by the time I said yes to the repairs) and I said okay, but they managed to finish it ahead of time in a few hours and I was able to pick it up the same day as they started the repairs. Car is way better, cost was good, and experience was top notch. Everything about these guys is great. Highly recommend.

No dought this place deserve 5 start, they are friendly clear what they do and won't try to overcharge customer. They will provide true opinion if you can wait for part repair or you should do immediately. No Charge for inspection, so it makes more comfortable to decide when you are taking opinion. Keep it up guys...

Finding a trusting mechanic has always been something I dread, especially since I drive an Audi. I try to avoid the dealership because they charge up the wazoo. When my A/C light went out and the car started to blow out hot air, I knew it was time to start my mechanic search. Having moved to Westmont from the city, I wasn't sure who to turn to. Yelp directed me to Real Autohaus. With the great reviews and a short 5 minute drive from my house, it was worth a shot. The guys took care of it right away and all it took was a recharge of freon. Other places would have probably tried to scam me with a replacement part because I'm a female, but I didn't get a sense of that whatsoever. My car was ready in less than 2 hours. Sincerity and professionalism hold strong at this place, and I plan to return to Real Autohaus in the future...especially since my brakes will be due for repair soon. Thanks Tristan and the crew!!!

I own a bmw 525i manual car, so it is always hard to find a good mechanic that doesn't over price. Having some automotive background, I always am on guard for someone trying to rip me off. I had an issue with my clutch after the extreme cold weather. I gave them a call and they took it in the next morning, called me later in the day in for their quote and fixed it the same day. The price is fair and the service is quick. Tristan also provided transportation for me to the train station. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. When I picked up the car, Tristan took my slave cylinder and showed me where the leak was. I would recommenced this mechanic shop to anyone in the area.

So impressed! I happened to have my parking brake stick just as I was passing Real Autohaus (thank God!). When I pulled in and told Tristan what had happened, he listened to the problem and backed a car out of the garage to throw my Civic on the rack and take a look at the issue. I'd had the same issue a couple years back, and got over charged with unnecessary repairs by that mechanic. Tristan walked me right into the garage to look at the brake housing. Not only did he take care of me (a non-client) right away, but explained that he could get a mediocre part that was more expensive or have me wait till the next morning for the less expensive, better piece. What mechanic does that?!
I cannot express enough how happy I am with the work and service I received. Tristan had James drive me home when I left the car, and then Tristan picked me up at home the next morning. If you're looking for honestly great customer service, go see Tristan. I am a woman who knows her way around a car, and I NEVER felt like I was being taken advantage of because I am female. I'm happy to say I will not be returning to my regular mechanic. I'll be giving my business to Real Autohaus.

I will never go anywhere else. Tristan is awesome. I took my car in, it needed HELP to pass emission testing. So, I mentioned why I was doing the repairs at some point (we had talked several times about what needed to be done, price, and time) So, the day I am going to pick up my car I call to see if I can come by soon and Tristan said, "Oh well your car isn't here right now." "Oh?" I said concerned. "I knew you needed your emissions test done so I made an appointment and it is being done for you right now." If I could have reached through the phone and kissed him I would have. What a load off my mind! He is brilliant, just amazing, and very honest, and fair. My whole family now goes here and we couldn't say enough nice things about this place. You just do not find places this wonderful very often... I was actually looking forward to parting with my money because he earned it.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service I have received over the years from everyone at Real Autohaus. Excellent service at very reasonable prices. They explain exactly what is needed and give an honest fair quote for the job. After the work is done, they show you what they did in detail with the replaced parts. If they notice anything else in need of repair, they mention it, give a quote, all with no pressure. I am lucky to have been recommended to Real Autohaus.

I discovered Real Autohaus with a Groupon oil change, and wishede that I had known about them sooner. They've since done other work,and they always show me what's going on with the car. They are thorough, honest, and with good customer service. It's not like I want my car to have problems, but if it does, I'll be taking it there again.

Tristian and his team have been working on 2 my cars for the last 3 years. They have serviced and maintained my 04 Subaru Forester and my 04 Honda Pilot, both vehicles are high mileage. The team will make sure that your vehicle is repaired properly the first time, and they go out of their way to make sure you understand what is being repaired on vehicle. The team has never pressured me into services that are not necessary. I recently purchased a 2013 Scion FRS with several performance modifications, I trust this team so much, that they will be servicing this vehicle for regular maintenance and any future performance modifications. Update: Just Purchased a 2012 Subaru WRX in March of 2016, Guess who's already completing my maintenance and performance installations on that Vehicle. Yep, Tristan and his team at Real Autohaus.

Fantastic service, great work, and good price. I had the most annoying problem where my car sounded like it was shaking really loud whenever I went over a bump and they figured out what it was and fixed it for a real cheap price. They also offered to drive me home free (it was an overnight repair). I had someone with me to drive me, but the offer was super nice of them. The repair work they did completely fixed the problem and made my car feel much more solid for an affordable price. Will definitely be coming back here for future work despite the fact that they are a bit of drive for me. The drive is worth the great work, friendly service, and savings in repair costs.

I needed front brakes & both front hub bearings replaced. They completed the work same day - and at a reasonable price. I will definitely take my cars there again. Bonus Points: Tristan drove me home & picked me up after the work was finished.
