Was late for my appointment. The owner greeted me, began work on my vehicle right away. The work was completed in less time than estimated and at the quoted cost estimate.
Asked owner to give me an estimate to replace a side view mirror assembly. He needed to get a price on it and promised to call me with the quote. I had barely returned home and was called with his quote. WOW! That was fast. The quote was significantly less than another repair facility. We tentatively set up an appointment for the end of the week. (See my Tip)
Asked owner to quote additional work and had his quote in less than 5 minutes. Set appointment for next week.. Following his inspection he informed me that I did not need parts and service that another facility said I needed. According to his quote for the work, comparing the same items to another auto service facility's quote, I will be saving almost 1/4 of the price plus approximately $200 on the parts and labor I did not need!
Well satisfied with the responsiveness, professionalism and honesty of the owner, as well as, the work performed. Especially noteworthy are the prices - SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER than the "chain" shops.
This business is the real deal. If you need work, get a quote here and give it a try. Betcha you'll be glad you did.

I have lived in the south and up here, and have met a lot of crooks and liars when it comes to mechanics.A good mechanic is like a good barber,hard to find. I took my truck into Watson Automotive and there I met the owner and mechanic, Doug. He was straight and honest about everything, and the most honest mechanic cause I knew what was wrong with my truck and roughly knew the cost to fix it. He told me what was wrong and the cost was actually a lot cheaper and better grade replacement parts. Reasons it was cheaper was that he does not charge 75 to 85 dollars an hour, he chargers no more than 65 an hour or less plus he don't mark up the price on the parts like all the other shops do, he does mark them up but nothing as high as the others. Doug saved me a little over six hundred dollars, I needed my manual transmission replaced. Everyone else was charging between 1800 to 2100 dollars, Doug charged me a little over 1100 dollars. He is now and will always be my mechanic.
