My cars serpentine belt was on the fritz and I knew I couldn't drive my car very far. Honestly I initially went to this place because they were the closest. I finally found my car guy. The gentleman that worked with me was very patient, explained everything to me, even showed me a picture of what was wrong. Very nice customer service.

Rip off and Disrespectful.
Overcharging on parts and labor on the simplest Jobs; giving disrespectful remarks when asked, "why so much?" You never got my consent to work on my vehicle for this price; if I had known you were charging me $50 for a simple fix, I would have said "no thank you" and gone to Jiffy Lube. I understand we have bills to pay, but overcharging customers on the simplest Job is not the way to do it. I hope you become more humble and kind - that's how you'll become a reputable business. Yelpers, be cautious: Get the price first before saying yes. They can not work on your vehicle without your consent. They have been reported to the Better Business Bureau.

RIP OFF.
I paid 30 dollars just for changing a bulb in a blinker. When I asked why do I pay so much the mechanic told me 'thats the price you pay for a fast service".

Omg - what a rip off! I'm in the process of reporting these guys to the better business bureau. $125 in labor to replace a battery and more than $300 to replace an alternator. And of course the $65 for the diagnostic to tell us we needed a battery and an alternator. I know these guys are not rocket scientist but when we come in with a dead battery and tell them we have a problem with the alternator you would think they could bypass screwing us for $65. These guys are con men. Beware

I discovered a disturbing sound early on a Saturday morning and needed my car to be drivable on Monday. Bob made room in his schedule for my car, even though I was not one of his regular customers. (I will be now!) He diagnosed the problem, explained what had happened and what needed to be done, got my approval for what it would cost, fixed it, and gave the car a thorough road test, all before the end of that same day. I've been looking for a trustworthy local mechanic for some time, and I believe I've found it here.

Harlem and Division is not your average corner gas station.
FAR FROM IT.
They have maintained our cars (foreign and domestic) for many years and have yet to get stumped by ANY problem. They are master diagnosticians and quick about it too................. They keep great records of ALL their work which helped get us a hefty rebate (we're talking $1000s here) when Honda lost a class action suit for faulty CR-V air conditioner compressors several years ago.
Bob and John and the rest of the staff are very friendly, communicative, never testy when I get long winded describing a problem and last winter even solved a snowblower problem for me and refused ANY payment.
I highly recommend them.

I am new to the area and have a pretty old car. A pipe was hanging down at the bottom and I called to get an estimate. They had me come in, looked at the car and cut off the pipe no charge. I do not know much about their prices or anything like that but that meant a lot to a struggling college student who couldn't afford another repair on an old car. I'm very appreciate for their service.

If the cost is Very high.... but w/ its history of good loyal employees, good work ethics, high workmanship, behind it - it could only mean one thing. That its quality is no.1 & is Well known by customers who respect it for what its worth.

I cant say anything about their auto service, but they routinely charge $.25 - .30 more per gallon of gas.
