Tri-Cities Area Worst Transmission Shop

I thought I was getting good service at a good price. I was so wrong! After 6 months of repeat calls and visits (the entire warranty period) my car still can't get out of second gear. Estep Transmissions does not stand behind their work. I…

The really deserve zero stars. They "rebuilt" a transmission for my Ford, Escape, only the thing crapped out the very first day after my father and I installed it. Ironically, I was trying to trade the Ford in for a Dodge truck. The transmission gave out during the appraiser's test drive! You would thing they would have been eager to make amends, but they weren't. They agreed to remove the transmission, fix it, and repair it for $350. It took them over two weeks to make that happen. It turned out they had failed to replace a faulty part in the rebuild, so the matter was entirely their fault. No apology. No, sorry, we cost you $200 in towing fees and then charged you another $350 to fix the mistake WE made. Nothing. Incompetent jerks.

Many of these reviews are lies saying we are "jerks". Best transmission shop in the area. Come and meet our very nice staff, we will work with anyone. Many people come and talk bad towards us and do not want to be civilized. Bring anything and realize how great the outcome will be. God bless.

Worst of all possible transmission repair. 6 months and endless calls and visits, $1400 wasted. My car still doesn't get out of 2nd gear. Go any place else.

We were working over 700 miles from home when the transmission on my boss's F450 went out. Eddie worked us in within a day and two and a half days after that, we were back in business. The shop was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and straight-forward with us. What could have been a horrible experience turned out quite the opposite.
