Be cautious

Work is decent. Grossly over charge for parts. My experience was that they charged 33% more for parts than the dealer and double what the local auto parts store charges. I would not return and would recommend going elsewhere.

they treat you right

I took my car in after getting the run-around at other shops and dealers. They fixed it fast and the bill did not go over the estimated amount. A friend recommended them to me and I would recommend them to everyone now. I really feel like I can trust them to do the job right.

Holy cow - I was traveling for the holidays and thought I blew a shock the day before I was supposed to head back to maryland. Eddie and his folks looked at it, made a quick adjustment to the tortion bar and sent me on my way. Quick in and out and very friendly service! Could've easily done a lot more work and charged a lot more - but as the lovely elderly lady in the lobby told me "they're the best here and would never take advantage of ya..."

I've been going here for years and I'm so happy that I've found them. They are so knowledgeable and friendly. And very patient with all of the questions that I have. I went there today because my car was acting up. Turns out it was a coil that they replaced for me last year. They replaced it with a new one today for free. They could've charged me and I wouldn't have known the difference. They are honest and reliable. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The main reason I keep returning to Medley's at St. Matthews for auto repair is because of trust. They get to the heart of the problem and fix it. I've never had any problems with my vehicles after they had work on them. Even though I've moved to Middletown area, I still take my car for repairs to St. Matthews. They do the job right in a timely manner and at a fair price. Keep up with the good work fellows!

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!! Medley's tried to take full advantage of my wife. I have lived in Louisville my whole life. I would never bash a local company but when you try to screw over a person, it needs to be told to everyone. She had a bad alternator which autozone told me in 5 min. I previously had an awful experience with a repair I needed on another shop. I just got to Medley's because I read previous reviews, since I am new in town.
In 20 minutes my problem was fixed, and I was charged 5 times less than the previous shop wanted to charge me. I can say these guys are efficient, honest and definitely know what they are doing.

I took my car for an oil change today, just stopped in. There was one car ahead of me and the wait was only about 30 minutes. Everyone was very nice and friendly, the waiting area was clean and fresh smelling. I did call prior for an appointment but was told it was first come basis which was fine. I'd rather that then be told I had to drop off the car and then pick up later like some service places have told me. I can't attest to the work performed on any large scale jobs, but for an oil change it was a good place to go.

I took my Prius in for a problem with the ABS and brake warning lights. There was a grabbing in the way the brakes worked. When I returned later in the day, it was explained that the brake program had to be reset, and the lights went off, and everything was working correctly. No parts were needed, and the cost was for the analysis only. GREAT!!! Super job and convenient too.

I wanted to write an excellent review for Medley's Auto Care. I have had great service here and they always give accurate quotes that fix the problem the first time and at a very good price. I found out that you can trust them to tell you correctly what the problem is with your car and get the job done! Unfortunately, alot of the other well known repair places I have had very bad experiences and sales people trying to sell me expensive repairs because they make commission off them. You will NOT find this dishonesty at Medley's Auto Care. I will be going back for a long time!!!!

Medley's was recommended to me by several people. I took my Jetta there expecting over $1000 is services to my suspension and brakes. Medleys look at my car and said that both were in good condition and I didn't need them replaced yet! They lubed up my suspension so it wasn't squeaky anymore. I finally have a place that I can take my car that I don't feel like I'm being taken advantage of because I'm a girl.
