I had two different repairs from them fail leaving me stranded on the roadside. One of them could have ended tragically. One star is too kind. Quality and Customer Service? Apparently you need to go to a chain for that.

A very professional, clean and well staffed business. Explained every step to me and willing to call my husband and inform him of all that needed to be done. Called before taking any extra steps. Spot on with quote for services, no surprises. I'm from Indiana, lived here two month, needed help, ASAP, pulled right off the street and was taken care of from start to finish, like they were family and friends for a life time. I've been looking for a local auto repair shop after years of dealing with the big chain shops and their poor workmanship. I came to Palm Harbor Auto Service to have a few repairs done and was very happy with the work. I have since brought my car back for some fairly major repairs, and I am always happy with the results. Andy is a very nice guy, and a good, honest mechanic. I am happy to say that Palm Harbor Auto Service is the only place I will take my car for repairs!

Cruising through Palm Harbor and our alternator decided to to a dump on us. Palm Harbor Auto took care of us right away and for a GREAT PRICE! with th exception of a misplaced key SNAFU (that was resolved quickly) we had a great experience! Hope we never break down in Palm Harbor again, but if we do I wouldn't hesitate to be a repeat customer. Thanks again

Not very smart.

This repair shop has provided excellent service, prompt completion, and very reasonable rates both times that I have gone there. In the short time I was in the shop, two very satisfied long term customers came in. We have been long time customers of PHAS.....recently, we purchased new cars and both are under warranty. We do believe in having those warranties covered by the dealers..... We have had such good experiences with PHAS, it's almost a shame that our relationship with these folks has to come to an end....at least for the foreseeable future. Close to our home and eager to drop what they are doing to help with things such as blown out bulbs, or nails in tires, this was "our" repair shop. We wish them all the best....

The old "Bait n Switch" . After going to 3 other shops for estimate they all said i needed a Tie rod. PHAS was the best price. Told me $120 to put in a tie rod end. once they started work they decides more work needed to be done at a cost of $800. I asked them to just put in the tie rod and they said it would do no good. I told them i couldnt afford the $800 so they charged me $60 to get my keys back! I almost didnt make it home, its 10X worse now, unsafe to drive. WTF Its hard to find a trusted mechanic anymore.

Wife and I have had our cars in there several times over the last few years. Never had a problem with them. They do quality work and I've never had the price higher than what they quoted me. For an oil change or something simple I may go elsewhere and save a buck. But much more than that I've become much more comfortable with these guys. I'd recommend them.

I've gone to several different auto services in the area. I've found I can always count on Billy to take care of my SUV. Called and made an appointment for thursday. Took our only vehicle in in the morning and they didn't get to it all day. Then they said they couldn't get to it the next day in fact they couldn't service it until the following tuesday. WHAT A JOKE! Meanwhile we didn't have our car all day so I just picked it up and I'm going to take it somewhere else. If they couldn't work on it they shouldn't have made the appointment with me. Second and the last time this will happen to me at this shop.
