Seriously, I don't know what I would do without Ken and his Crew...I've been going to him for over 14 years! I am a woman so right there I would be an easy victim to ANY car repair place AND in South Florida? I'd be really taken advantage of but they never do... he cuts costs, is honest with everything (and sometimes to a fault that I feel like I'm the one taking advantage of HIM... I know, weird, right??)
Ken and his crew are in a little back area off the beaten path that you KNOW the only way that people know about him is by word of mouth and he is busy ALL the time (which makes me not want to share my BEST EVER mechanic b/c what if he gets TOO busy?? but I want him to succeed). I swear that there are only a handful of people that I would say, "WTF am I gonna do if they stop working??"
and trust me, I am in business community and I know lots of businesses... he is one of the 4 people after 15 years of business networking here that I would EVER recommend!!

I've been shopping for a reliable, fairly priced, and honest mechanic for the last 7 years. Knowing nothing about cars, I've struggled with trusting a mechanic to A) not rip me off, and B) do a good job so I don't have to return every other month.
The first time I visited Ken, he batted for me against a AAA battery repairmen who didn't want to admit that the cause of my car issues was the AAA battery that I bought only 3 months prior. After nearly an hour of back-and-forth, Ken finally convinced the AAA rep that it was the crappy battery and nothing else. If it wasn't for Ken, I probably would've paid a lot of money to fix something that wasn't broken. Ken didn't charge me for his time, and I got a new battery from AAA (side note: from my and Ken's mechanic experience, don't buy batteries from AAA)
Recently, I returned to get something fixed. One of Ken's mechanics, Eddie, was there and gave me lots of cost-saving tips for a future repair (leaking oil), and gave me a fair price on a new alternator.
I highly recommend Ken's Automotive for anyone looking to find a trustworthy mechanic.
