These guys are the best! I have never been to an auto place that has broken things down into Laymans terms so I could actually understand what is wrong. They physically took me out and showed me what the problem was with my brakes. I came in about a month ago for my brakes but since living in Iowa built up the rust there was another issue. They told me that since I got it services with them so recently they wouldn't charge me for those repairs. Not to mention the waiting room is crazy comfortable and the staff is really nice! I'm only living here until November but any other issues I have until then this is where I'll go! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

WOW! An auto repair shop that believes in good old fashioned customer service. I visited last week for a check on the AC system one one of my cars and had great service, all at the agreed price on the phone with no pressure for an up sell for a more costly repair. A great place to get all your car issues taken care of. From windshield wipers to your millage maintenance. Wait area is clean and quiet. Appointments are kept and on time. I rescinded my previous rating because I did not have all the facts straight. Now I do. I went in with a request to have the 200,00 mile diagnostics done on my Toyota Corolla. 100.00 just for the diagnostics. Total bill for all the things found was 1800.00. I had a rear wheel bearing problem with a bad speed sensor, and a problem from a previous repair. The professionals at Christian Brothers not only fixed the wheel bearing, they went the extra mile, and 10 minutes, and corrected the earlier repair at no additional fee. My Jeep Liberty had a rocker arm that had slipped out of place causing my jeep to misfire and basically lose all power. They quickly diagnosed the problem and quoted me a fair price to fix it. I called around and found out they were the most trusted automotive repair shop in Clermont. They repaired my jeep and got me back on the road right on budget just like they quoted me. Are they slightly higher in price than most oil change places? Yes. But keep in mind, you get what you pay for. I've been bringing my car to CBA in Clermont for over a year now and they always take care of the little things. Very honest, they will tell you when a service is not needed. The staff there is incredibly polite. I like bringing my business to people who have high values like me. I don't care about the quicky oil changes and working with people that give a bad vibe. CBA in Clermont does great work, honest, and what other place will offer to give you a ride while you wait for your car to be ready?

We're on vacation from Texas, heard a grumbling sound in the brakes e had replaced before our trip. Called CBA in Clermont and they said they were booked for several days. Told them our problem and they said, "bring it in." Not only did they work us in, they advised the shop on TX "messed up" on the requirements for brakes on our vehicle and repacked the bearings free of charge. The owner even bought my lunch, apologizing for the repair taking away a day of our vacation.

Before coming to Florida, we had a Rack n pinion problem that was handled by CBA in Grand Rapids, Michigan about a month before departure. After a couple of days we had to return the vehicle because the problem continued. After that second repair, the vehicle ran well. Upon arriving in Florida in August of 2014, the vehicle gave us the same issues and Since the warranty was still valid, we gave CBA of Clermont our vehicle to be repaired. after the repair, I was back in 2 days because of the same issue. I was not happy! Especially when I had to drive an hour there and an hour back! Following that repair, my vehicle visited CBA of Clermont 13 more times in less than 2 years. For example, they repaired my water pump, and we still have overheating issues to this day. Another example, where they fixed my fuel pump, 4 separate times and so on.....Not counting all the gas and mileage, and numerous rentals. The only reason we did not go to another auto repair business, was because of the warranty. The owner had explained that the warranty would be voided if I chose that route. Very disappointed with all of this. No return.

In July 2015 Christian Brothers did out brakes. Less than 30 days later we moved to Vegas, upon our arrival we were concerned about hearing a squeak in our brakes. Knowing we just paid over $200 (to Christian Brothers) to have our front brakes done, we figured it was the back brakes. Upon our Vegas arrival we used our other car most of the time, but the few times we used the Spyder it seemed the squeaking got worse. Finally after several weeks the brakes started grinding and rumbling. We immediately parked it and set up an appointment with a Mitsubishi certified brake specialist. Figuring it was our back brakes we dropped the car off. At the end of the day we were called and asked how long has it been since our front brakes were done? When everything was said and done...$450 later. It took the certified mechanics two days to remove the seized rotors, melted on ring and shredded pads. The mechanics proceeded to tell us the following. Whoever worked on your front brakes last could not remove the rotors as they had to be soaked for a day to do so. The rotors were never resurfaced (as we were charged for) or worked on previously and they were now ruined. In addition, the mechanic stated that someone greased it and put on new pads, without doing anything with the rotors. The pads were not ceramic (as invoiced) but a cheap metal pad that were torn up with the seized rotors.
Christian Brothers did those brakes just 30 days earlier and stated that the rotors we resurfaced and ceramic pads were used...neither was true.
Now we are in Las Vegas and there was no way to bring the car back there to show you how bad it was, we sent a copy of the receipt for the work we had done and trusted that we would be hearing from CB, as to when we can expect a reimbursement for the money we spent based on the warrantee.
It is now four weeks after our initial contact with Christian Brothers. The certified Mitsubishi mechanic has reached out several times to the CB manager; we have spoken to the manager, as well, and recently he is stating that we needed to bring the car back to Orlando.
Be careful with these folks. They say they are caring and legit but we are now out $600...thankfully a real mechanic fixed everything.

I recently had my Hyundai Accent serviced at Christian Brothers after checking reviews of Hyundai service/dealers on Yelp ( all local Hyundai dealers got terrible reviews...) Glad I came upon CBros. I was able to schedule service promptly, they were conveniently located and easy to find. For a vehicle service business I was astonished at how clean and well maintained it is--that made a very positive impression on me. The staff were cordial and professional. I just needed a routine service (oil change) but I asked if they could have a look at my damaged rear bumper(big dent) Although CBros.does not do body work, the associate said they would look at the damage and give me an idea of what might be entailed in getting it repaired. I settled in to their immaculate, comfortable waiting room and in a very short time my car was ready to go-- no other "suggested" service items found --they didn't try to boost the ticket. The charge for the service was very reasonable and when I asked about the body work the associate took me outside to my car and lo and behold, they had "popped out" the dent--at no charge. Unbelievable ! Was I pleased with Christian Brothers? They have a customer for life!

Came in for ac service. Knowing this is a national chain I came in with low expectations: poor service and high prices.
I was blown away while waiting. Was offered coffee about 3 times, checked on every 15 minutes by the manager who genuinely seemed to care. Was offered a ride home while I wait which I declined. Comfortable waiting area with homey decor, leather couches and free wifi.
The diagnosis was accurate as I had it narrowed down to one of three issues from my friend who is an auto tech. I was happy with the repair work and would both return and recommend. Pricing of repair work was moderate to high but nothing excessive.
I was also offered an extra 150$ service which I know I did not need, a dye to check for leaks in my ac system, and had I not had technical knowledge Or been more gullible I may have fallen for it. That was not the issue with my car, but the manager said that is only optional and ensured I knew it was not required nor recommended by him, but it was an extra service they do.
I'm happy with my experience here, though this is my first and only time here

I am the owner of a 2008 Aura TL. I purchased the vehicle new in 2008. The engine had a slapping sound, which was diagnosed as a timing belt issue by another mechanic. The car was driven to Christian Brothers Automotive in Clermont for repair. When it went in it had no loss of power in the engine. The car would start and idle correctly. The issue was the slapping sound noise. Christian Brothers did a diagnostic on the car and said it needed the timing belt replaced.. I was charged $85.00 for the diagnostic After they replaced the belt they called and said the engine had bent valves and the car needed a new engine. They quoted me $5,300.00 for a used engine and installation. I declined any additional work and went to pick up the vehicle. I had to pay $1,171.00 for the belt installation to get my keys. The car would not turn over and or start. After they jumped the car to start it, the engine made loud noises and the car had a violent shake. The vehicle would not idle unless the accelerated was pressed down. I told Bryce Meridth the owner of the business I could not drive the vehicle. He told me if I wanted to leave the car in his lot for a couple of days he would not charge me storage. I had the car towed to another shop.
From what I am told it is very unusual to damage an engine while replacing a timing belt. But my experience driving driving the car and their diagnostic prior to the work
confirms that is what they did. And then they wanted $5,300.00 to correct their mistake. Unfortunately, now I have to go to court to right two wrongs.
