I was involved in a terrible c...

I was involved in a terrible car accident where my car should have been totaled. My insurance Comp. chose to have it fixed instead. I chose Auto Body Tech after careful research and it was the best decision I could have made. I have been treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. I thought my car could not be fixed correctly and I was totally wrong!! Roberto assured me that it would be like new and he was true to his word. It looks new and is running perfect!! Thank You Roberto and Auto Body Tech. I would definitely recommend you to all my famiily and friends.

I'm not sure if the other review was a competitor or what. I was real happy with the way I was treated at Auto Body Tech. They handled the whole insurance nightmare, set me up with a rent a car and I picked up my Accord two days before they promised. The body work is perfect and you could never tell I've been hit. They're a good shop. I would recommend them to my best friend!

THE WORST AUTO BODY SHOP IN MIAMI ! We took our car here because our insurance carrier (GEICO) said it was one of their "approved" car body shops. Auto body tech promised the car repairs finished in 3 weeks. They took 2 MONTH TO FINISH THE WORK !!!! They promised to pay for the additional 5 weeks not covered GEICO for car rental expenses, they paid NOTHING ! They were unresponsive (at best) to my repeated email requests to get the repairs finished. GEICO should be ASHAMED about having this shop in their "approved" list of car body shops in Miami. the service was just horrendous. I was excited when they quoted only 4-5 days to replace a bumper and the radiator, but it actually took 16 days. I needed an accurate time because i wanted to know whether or not I would need a rental car. They assure me it would be done the first friday after I dropped it off on Tuesday. It wasn't finished. They assure me it would be done the following Monday and said not to rent a car. Lies, I waited until the following Sat and they finished only because I rushed them. They set wrong expectations and weren't able to establish new ones. I don't mind waiting but I need to know exactly whats happening with my vehicle. They gave me no answers.

I wont even give this place a one star, the only reason i did is that without it it would not let me post.. my car has been there at least 8 times after the repair they have replace the same parts over and over. they gave me a rental that was supposed to be cover by them and the Rental car charge it to my credit card. now that i have complain they have took weeks to refund me the money back. my car still has issues. They lost a part of the car they damage one of the rims . I been very patient but now if got no more left after dealing with them for a year. if you ever need some repairs done in you car please don't take it here.

Worse customer service I've ever had they do nothing but lie they told me car would be done in a couple of days it took 3 weeks and car still isn't complete fixed took my car back 3 more time and they lied saying they replaced the parts that were supposed to be changed and I marked every part with a marker and guess what they were all the same parts left my car there 1 whole day for them not to even touch it. You might get lucky and not have an issuer but it seems to be that everyone has one. they are liers and crooks karma is a bad thing what goes around comes around and auto body tech as well as there unreliable employees will get what they deserve

Worst....Place...Ever!!! They said my car would take a week...it took them a month to complete a simple door repair. They pushed back their deadline 3 TIMES!!! Then when I get my car back a piece of the side mirror is missing, that wasn't even broken when I took it in.

Surprised that no one has reviewed these guys yet. Have to admit I'm very impressed with these guys. Their customer services is very professional, they are truly bilingual & they are honest.
Went in to have my car fixed after a run in with some road debris that messed up my car pretty bad. They gave me an honest & fair estimate. I dropped off my car on Monday & was told it would most likely be ready by Friday. And exactly on Friday by 1pm I get a call that my car is ready.
Not only was my car looking good as new but they washed it & vacuumed it inside. Left it as if ready to go to the show room. That was a really nice touch.
I feel I can recommend these guys to anyone. Great folks & company.

The most corrupt incompetent body shop in all of Miami. They did not complete the work they did not finish it in the timeframe that they promised the person who I was in direct contact with quit and then it was impossible to figure out what was going on. Finally the front desk tell me the work was completed when it was not her name was Amanda. When I went to pick up the car the work was not completed they had over charge the insurance company and the all over experience was the worst I've had with a body shop all they needed to do was paint a bumper and replace it.

They are bad at covering their tracks. I went there after my accident due to insurance. My accident was a simple side swipe repair. They told me it was going to take only a week for the repair. THE REPAIR TOOK A MONTH. They kept giving me some garbage about how they ORDERED THE WRONG DOOR. WTF
Not only this, when i got my car back their was a missing piece on the opposite door that they weren't supposed to be working on. I didn't pay much mind to it because it was a cosmetic piece so I didn't care. But no longer than a month after the accident, my window on the side where the missing piece stopped working.
I have to open my door and see if they tampered with any things in my door if they do, I'm going to sue

Brought my car here because it was closest to where I had my accident and this is a Geico certified shop. Geico certification means nothing as far as the quality of the work or that the shop is good, it just means that Geico was able to secure a deal with the shop to offer discounted prices to their customers.
First time I brought my car here, when I went to pick it up, I put my key in and my radio was blasting on loudest volume and my car would not turn on. My guess is that their mechanics were using my car as their radio while working on it. They jump started my car and assured me that battery probably drained from car not being driven. I found that hard to believe as my Mercedes is only a few years old and has never had that issue but I left reluctantly. At my next stop I get back in my car and it will not start and I am now stranded. Had to buy a replacement battery as it was tested and was ruined and then fight them and get Geico involved for them to finally admit it was their fault and pay for the new battery.
A few years later I send my car back here at Geico's urging not realizing it was the same shop where I had the previous bad experience as I had forgotten the name. It is safe to say my previous bad experience was not an isolated incident. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE.
I was never once called to be given an update on my car. I even had to call to make sure my car arrived as it had been towed there and I did not go in with my car. Car took a week longer than promised and again I was not called or notified of this. I asked them to quote me on repairing a small scratch on my bumper since my car was already there and I am still waiting for that quote. When I bring my car home I realize there is a lot of liquid under my car. I take it back and they look it over and assure me everything is fine and I even ask if they plugged in everything and they told me yes. Car is veering to the right and when I call again they tell me they did not check alignment. My accident was bad enough that I had to have my car towed there, how do you not check the alignment?! A hit of any kind can throw off your alignment. No other answer but lazy mechanics.
I then get another warning message on my dash (saying ESP is deactivated) and take it to the mechanic I normally use as I refuse to go to Auto Tech. They tell me whoever did the work on my car was very sloppy and that they had left my windshield fluid container unplugged and this was reason for leaking. They also say my car is so out of alignment that my steering wheel was crooked and this was reason for the other warning message. They could not understand how the other shop did not check the alignment. $200 later my car is finally back to normal but no thanks to Auto Body Tech and their sloppy/ lazy mechanics.
Save yourself the grief and take your car somewhere else!!

THE WORST AUTO BODY SHOP IN MIAMI !
They promised the car repaired in one month AND took TWO MONTHS to finish the repairs.
They NEVER responded to the numerous emails we sent asking for status of the car repairs and reasons for the delays.
They promised to PAY for the additional month WE had to pay in car rental not covered by the car insurance due to this body shop delays, they paid NOTHING!
We went to this body because it was explicitly recommended by our car insurance carrier as one of their "APPROVED" body shops.
Our car insurance should be embarrassed about recommending this body shop.

Picked up my car yesterday it was involved in a hit and run. I'll have to say this body shop is great certified by geico for a very good reason they know what they're doing. Judging by how great my car came out like new. The ladies in the front are super nice too as long as you provide them with a number your notified how your car is doing when it's almost ready and when to pick it up it's great. The complimentary car wash was great too Outside & INSIDE.

Brought my car in after an accident that damaged the left side of my Chevy Cobalt. The door, bumper, and fender were all damaged. This place was recommended by the insurance company handling my claim. As much as Amigo Kingsway Insurance sucks, this place sucks even worse. The ONLY reason I give it two stars is because the receptionist Beth was very professional and always courteous. Other than that, I was never called to be told what was going on with my car, or where my car was transitioning to or how much longer it would take. The completion date was postponed THREE times! And of course that is three times that I had to call and find out for myself if the car was ready or not. Then when I finally get the car, I was just given the keys, and nobody walked me around the car explaining what was done. The car wash was horrible, there was still the white residue on the sides of the doors from the paint job. ON TOP OF THAT, the locking mechanism of the door made a nasty clunking sound when I pulled the handle. The mechanic said (and this is no joke he really said this) "It's making that sound cause it is so new...". I went to the passenger side and pulled it and closed it several times and explained to him I got this car BRAND NEW from the dealer and it never made a nasty sound like that. That wasn't it with the problems though. I had to return the car after traveling ONLY A FEW BLOCKS because the new side view mirror was improperly installed. They fixed it quickly and I was on my way, only to realize that as soon as I picked up speed, the car was in absolutely no way balanced! If I let go of the wheel, it would swerve to the right almost immediately. I took it back again! This time the owner said to just leave, and I had to get back in a rental car for another day. Do you think the car got balanced? No freaking way. I ended up having to take my car a local auto shop and pay my own money to get it aligned.
The happy ending in this story is that just a month later (no kidding) someone hit my car again, and they hit the same exact door that Auto Body Tech worked on, and the shop I went to didn't leave it looking like crap like Auto Body Tech did. This shop was able to fix it quickly and they called me all the time, kept me updated, and always explained what was being done. That is the standard! I will not post the name of this other shop because I don't want people to think that this review is posted by a competitor company. I am a real person, a real customer, involved in a real accident, and posting this real review about Auto Body Tech. I want people to please look up reviews thoroughly and ask people about firsthand experiences so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

My car was damaged in an accident. Geico handled the claim perfectly. Their representative April works at this shop. When i first got there i was skeptical but decided to take a chance. I was given an estimate that the car will be fixed in approximately 3 days but it took them five which is not a problem. April followed up with me with the updates. She also provided me with the free rent while my vehicle was being fixed. When i got a call to pick up my car on Monday and that that's the last day when my free rent is covered i told April that i can get out of the office because it is very busy. She was kind enough to extend the rent for the next day even though she didn't have to. When i came the next day for the pick up it took them around 15 minutes to get a car out of the shop to the front. When i saw it i didn't notice any paint defects, the fender was even with the bumper. The car was washed and the driving seat was covered with the plastic case. To check how the job is done from the inside i opened the hood and noticed that the bolt is missing from the bumper (it was not damaged at the accident), i asked the guy if they can fix, first they said that since this part of the car wasn't damaged they don't have to do it - which was sad true, so i went to the office and asked one of the workers to give me the item number so i can order it from the dealer. The guy gave me a number and i went outside. The technician told me that they found this kind of bolt and screwed it in.
The service, attitude, professionalism of these people is excellent, so i will definitely recommend them.
