Well I just want to start off by saying the people in the shop are a delight to work with. Paul is super sweet and Stephen did a great job cleaning and detailing my car. The reason for going to Peters was because I was in a fender bender and when I looked on Yellow Pages and at the other reviews on Yelp they seemed like they would be perfect to help me out. I live in Ramsey so they were very close to where I was and got the job done efficiently. I will most certainly be going back!

After towing my car to Peters after a car wreck, I needed to store my car in their lot while trying to coordinate with a donation agency. After four days, I was initially charged $100 for the fee (I was expecting this as they clearly stated their storage charges)... However, I needed to add on an additional four days to schedule the charity to pick up the car. After the car was picked up, I was charged $475!!! To summarize this, I was initially charged $100 for the first four days ($25 / day) and then was charged $375 for the following four days ($93.75 / day!!!) two of which were weekend days where they weren't even open... Beware of pricing here.

When I walked in the shop everyone was very nice to me and explained everything that was happening with my car. I had recently popped my tire on my way to my cousins house, so I was freaking out at the time. Peters did a great job with fixing my tire and getting my car back to me the next day. They are very dependable and honest, which is a hard thing to come by now-a-days. If I ever have any car problems when driving through NJ again, I know just where to stop.

It's so hard to find a mechanic or car repair place that you can really trust. With so many ripoff artists in the news it's been a pleasure working with Peter's over the years. From fender benders to some really good smashes I've always found them honest and straight forward. They do amazing work and have always been courteous. I can't say that I look forward to using them again, but if I need a body shop, these are the guys.

I wish I could tell the whole story, but expect to wait wait wait. The owner and his employees don't respect their customers. I was told blatant little white lies. I went there to pick up my car, and I saw it as I got there. While I was waiting for the guy to stop BSing on the phone to one of his buddies about another customer. Finally when he got off the phone he told me that it was at the car wash and there was a long line. Seriously??? Just tell me the truth and give me the option to wash my car because some people can't wait for your slow pokes to do their jobs. Also it took me 35 mins to pick up my car and that was mostly waiting. If anything it should have taken 3. Oh and another bad thing, when he was evaluating my car he ripped off my tail light w/o even asking me for permission. I should have taken that as my clue to get out of there. In my opinion stay away! The work is good...so far. Only reason I gave 2 stars

Everything went well as usual. I have used them in the past and so has other family members. They took care of everything for me including getting me in a rental and dealing with my insurance company. They have always seemed fair and honest. The work has been consistently great.
I don't believe the bad rating from another poster, there must be something else not in the story. Maybe there is a misunderstanding. They have been around for a long time. If they were that bad and ripping people off, there would be far more bad reviews as people tend to review more for bad experiences than good.

Just had my car fixed here, this company is a made up of consumate professionals, they do excellent work, and they kept in touch with me on any issue, big or small, during the repair process.
Total class organization, I don't see people like this anymore in almost any business
Cannot think of a reason not to go here, unless you dont want the best job done, at a fair price.
