I have been a customer for about 8 years or so. These guys are awesome!! They go above and beyond the call of duty to help you. They are honest, reasonable and really good human beings. I have had everything from oil changes, ball joints and heads rebuilt here. They have even consoled me when my vehicle was a lost cause. Being someone who always has driven old cars I can't tell you how much it has meant to me to be able to trust someone and know they won't take advantage of my automotive ignorance. They are and will always be my mechanics .

At the suggestion of Kevin Walton (Family Auto Service), I took my Escape to Byrd's to see if they could find and fix the problem(s). Jim and James were very helpful and took the time to explain the problems to me, possible solutions and costs, and then told me the best option given the age and mileage of my vehicle. They offered to take me home so that they could go ahead and get started on the repairs. My Escape was ready before the promised time and the repairs were less than the estimate. Good experience and will definitely go back there if I have another vehicle that need service work.

My dad started taking his cars here long ago and thus I've become a customer for several years now. I don't trust anywhere else. I come here for all my vehicle needs, my husband and I. One time I thought I needed rear brakes (squeaking) and they told me they still had some life in them. They could have just told me I needed the brakes and went ahead and replace them costing me money I didn't need to at that moment. These are good people who do good and honest work!

My car left me stranded making a grinding noise from the transmision area and wouldn't go anywhere. I had it towed to Byrd's. I just knew that it was time for a new transmision and accepted paying for one. Byrd's found something else had failed and fixed it saving me a lot of money. These folks are honest and dependable. Hard to find these days.

January 15th, 2015 my husband had them look at his heating problem in our 2004 Chevy Avalanche Z71 1500. Turns out it was a leak in the water pump of all things -- it was an amazing catch and quick repair -- and the heat is working great. Prices are reasonable and they are very easy to work with and have a pretty fast turnaround.
Hubby was in there again today for a lube and oil change -- once again they were great and the service was outstanding -- very sweet family. This is now the only place we will be taking our vehicles.
