I have been going to Bells Mil...

I have been going to Bells Mill Auto for the past 4 yrs and have NEVER encountered a probelm with customer service. The owner is as honest and fair as it gets. In fact, I drive quite a distance out of my way to have my vehicle serviced by Bells Mill. They are the ONLY mechanics I trust. They fix the problem without "creating" more work just to rack up the bill and always suggest less expensive options if they apply. The building and work area is always clean and tidy, they are always friendly and curteous to all who approaches them - whether its work related or not. They are a rare find and I wish their were more honest "good ole boys" shops out their for those who need a fair price and service you can always depend on.

Thank god there are still decent people in the world! I love dealing with Russ at Bells Mill Auto because they always take care of me! Had I gone to a dealership, I probably would've had to give up my first born for all the repairs I've had this year! Thank you! Horrific experience. Not only was I given incorrect information regarding my vehicles' needed repair by Ken who stated he was the mechanic. I was also advised that I had to pay for parts and repair services that were covered under warranty ("because it went bad") from work that they (Bells Mill Auto Care) performed less than a year prior ($347.00). Russ ultimately had the work completed ($18.37 spark plug replacement) that was under warranty at no charge to me but insisted that additional work was needed ($247.00) and basically stated to me that there was "miscommunication" when it came to what his mechanic has stated (regarding the "work" that was needed and the $100.00 difference). I ultimately advised to have no one touch my vehicle. I picked up the vehicle without the "additional work needed" completed with and invoice that states "replaced #6 coil &plug" "still has a bad coil" .Took it to another mechanic to only be advised the battery needed to be replaced as there was no "bad coil" reading on his machine. This truly saddens me as I have been a client for years. Never again. Ladies and gentlemen if it doesn't sound right question it. If it does sound right ask questions anyway so you will have the knowledge for future reference.It will save you money.

The Owner, and his mechanics are great people. Several of my friends and I have been using these guys for years. I have 6 vehicles and this business has done allot of work for me. Over the years I only had one small issue that was immediately corrected by them. I would highly recommend them and I do to my family and friends.

Good, trustable alternative to the high cost dealerships. I first found this shop because of the closeness to my house and a recommendation from a good friend but they have my recommendation for much more than just convenience. I've taken multiple cars there for inspection and had extensive work done on my wife's old Ford Explorer (Thank goodness it's gone! But that'd be a whole different review.) The crew appears older which gives me piece of mind that they are experienced. Good local alternative to high priced dealers.

I have finally found an outstanding repair shop! I have options closer to where I work but I am not happy with their customer service. Even though I have to skip a day of work to take my vehicle to Bells Mill it is worth it! I trust Russ and his entire crew with the work they preform. The friendly reception you get when you walk in the door and cleanliness of the shop, this only adds to the confidence and respect I have for this business. I will not take my vehicle anywhere else unless I absolutely have to.

I have gone back and forth with this review. Should I give 2 Stars or 3? For now I'll go with 2 and give as fair of an explanation as I can, you decide for yourself.
I found out about Bells Mill Auto Care May 21, 2013. I know this because it is written on my NAPA Bells Mill Auto Care, 757vipcard which my mother in law, wife and I purchased for $99.95. This card was sold door to door and clearly states that Bells Mill Auto Care agreed to honor all discounts on the card and the card does not expire.
November 24,2014 I found that Bells Mill Auto Care no longer honors the top portion of the card because 757vipcard was no longer in business. The issue I have is that no where on the card is there a null and void statement in the event of 757vipcard going out of business.
The Proprietor of Bells Mill Auto Care, Russ Gibson stated since the services I received totaled more than $99.95 then we were even in fact he said I came out ahead. The disagreement I have is the purchase I and my family paid for services at a rate agreed upon by both us and Bells Mill Auto Care. Mr Gibson, in fact, broke his end of the agreement. This is disappointing because until yesterday we were completely satisfied with the service we have received from Bells Mill Auto Care. We can no longer do business with a person who has no regard for the contract that was made upon purchase.
I guess it's back to the big warehouse type Auto centers.
