FAST, TOP-NOTCH SERVICE!! I was referred to Hilliard Automotive by a good mechanic friend He was out of town and couldn't get to my repair. I've had a few unpleasant experiences with shops in the past, but trusted my friend's referral. I needed brake pads, rotors, oil change and inspection. The shop was promptly opened by 0730, when I arrived, and everyone was in full swing and in work mode, so I decided to take a chance and see if they could fit me in that day. They were able to get my vehicle repairs done that same day, and were reasonably priced, as well. Omar and his staff are nice and very professional. You can tell they take pride in their work by how clean the shop and lot are kept. I'll definitely go back to them for more work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Jody

Absolutely horrible experience with these people. Test drove a truck, wanted it, man said he would hold it 2 days until I could get off of work to come and get it. HE SHOOK MY HAND ON IT. said he would hold it. Day before picking up truck, bank called them for the info. That's when they told the bank they had sold it. A crappy way of doing business!!! Now I'm stuck without a vehicle again. Then WOULD NOT ANSWER MY CALLS!!! Had to text his cell before he would reply, I asked to speak to the owner. NOTHING!

Look, unless you're very picky about everything or expect to be pampered everywhere you go, there's only a couple things you should need of an automotive repair shop: Honesty and expertise. That's what you get here. Don't expect a large parking lot or a customer waiting area though.

Excellent service! Fast, friendly, and none of the BS my usual shop tries to pull.
Backstory: I am usually the type that ends up hurrying to get a state inspection done last minute (or sometimes, late) due to poor planning. I was determined that this year would break that cycle.
Starting on the fifth, I had it on my to-do list but always put it off or had to reschedule due to other things coming up. Lo and behold, it is now the end of the month; when shops are full of people who also procrastinated and wait times are long. I found myself feverishly calling shops around me seeing if anyone could get me taken care of.
The responses were the same, though the tones differed. Some shops simply stated that they were booked, others seemed to be laughing at my audacity to try to get a state inspection done the same day the car would be dropped off. Most only offered inspections on a first come, first served basis.
When I called Hilliard Automotive the first time, the gentleman on the phone apologized that they had nothing available until the next day. I told him I would call back. After calling a few more service locations, I decided that this was by far the best option. I called back and scheduled an appointment for 8am today.
When I arrived, I was promptly greeted and my car was in the bay within minutes. I fully expected to have to come back for my car, but it was done very promptly, almost an hour before my best-case scenario time!
While waiting in the room, I saw three other folks come in and the interactions were professional and courteous. One customer was in by mistake, looking for another car shop that was nearby. Without missing a beat, the gentleman at the desk gave her directions to her intended location.
Overall, everything I saw and experienced showed me that these folks are great at what they do and can be trusted to give you an honest answer. I will definitely hit them up first next time I need anything done!

They seem like an average service station. I think the prices are more than fair and they do a good quality job. I went there for a state inspection. They are meticulous when performing state inspections, so bring the car to them only if it is in good condition to pass. If the car needs work to pass, you can at least be sure they've discovered every flaw. I recommend this shop for females and the mechanically challenged. I believe their service and business is best suited for them. Overall at this time I can only give an average rating because I have not completed an entire transaction with them, however, given their service so far I think they wouldn't give me any reasons to change my mind.
P.S. T Fabian has also written negative reviews on Google. The owner has replied to T Fabian's posts on Google review insinuating some kind of retaliation for a "solicitation gone wrong". At any rate T Fabian if this is true quit your trolling and get a life. People come to yelp and Google reviews to get honest opinions, and buffoons such as yourself only retract from these reviews credibility. You can give reviewers more details if this really was the case, but, I'd be willing to bet you're just full of it.

Went here for a last minute inspection just now. Called in and the guy said we can get it done in the morning.... I was suprised because mt inspection was due and when I got there waited only 30 minutes for inspection. Quick and easy. This was an easy 5 stars. Nice guys also...

Hilliard Auto came recommended by a friend via Facebook. I called to schedule an oil change & they got me scheduled for the same day. (Today). I walked in & was greeted immediately. They drove my car straight back. No waiting in line, no upselling of services I didn't need & they were cheaper & faster than the place I usually take my vehicle. I'll definitely recommend these guys. Courteous, honest & professional. I will be back.
