I live in Maryland, and was 's of the way to the house we rented in Romulus when the air conditioning in my car stopped working. Faced with the possibility of driving back to Maryland without AC, I went to the local Advanced Auto in Geneva and asked for help. The guy there told me about First Choice Auto.
I stopped in on Thursday, and Dave said he would take a look and call me. I told him we were leaving Saturday morning, not leaving much time for repair. He called later that afternoon and said he would be able to repair it, gave me an estimate, and I gave the ok.
Dave called ahead of schedule Friday afternoon to say it was fixed. I picked up the car and the AC was nice and cold. The final bill was right in line with his estimate - but one caveat - if you pay with a credit card, they tack on a processing charge. It would've been nice to know that ahead of time (because I could've brought my checkbook) but considering that they were able to fix my car in essentially 24 hours, I gladly paid.
Overall, I was quite pleased with First Choice Auto, and I can see why others in the area recommend them. Thanks again!
