Over the 30 years that we have lived in Oak Park, my wife and I have brought all of our cars (many makes and models) to Vladimir, who does outstanding work at very reasonable prices. He is honest. On one occasion, a dealer claimed that we needed $1,500 of work on our Infiniti; Vladimir solved the problem for $100. When it comes to our cars, I will not trust my life, and the lives of my family, to anyone but Vladimir. Forest Park Foreign Car Repair is one of the best service providers, in any line of business, that I have ever been fortunate enough to be a customer of.

Vladimir is a genuine, respectful and smart businessman. He watches the details carefully and communicates what I needed to know about what was needed (and what wasn't) for my 1999 Volkswagen Passat wagon. I will use Forest Park Foreign Car Repair regularly from now on. And I've already recommended them to friends with VWs in the Oak Park, River Forest, Berwyn and Forest Park communities.

I have been taking my Buick LaSabre to Vladamir for 7 years. He is very trustworthy and his prices are very fair. Having a good mechanic is like having a good doctor, when you find one you can trust stick with them.

Extremely helpful! I called Vladimir with a problem starting my car and he was able to walk me through how to fix it. It saved me a tow and I will definitely be taking my car there next time I need a repair and would recommend them!

I brought my car here a few times for routine maintenance and to fix some minor problems, as they had been highly recommended. I mentioned a couple problems (squeaky/slipping belt, oddly functioning ac) that they dismissed as nothing. Needless to say, they were not nothing, and they should have been easily diagnosable (alternator going bad, harmonic balancer going bad...these are not parts that go bad overnight). Now $2000 later, having broken down on a road trip hundreds of miles from home after having my car in this shop just a week before leaving for the road trip, I'm definitely looking for a new local mechanic.

My Audi lost all of its coolant so I got it home and took it to FPFCR. Vlad took a look at it after 5pm on a Friday and found one of my hoses was not attached properly. (I think the kid at PepBoys loosened it when he replcaced my headlight bulb...Pepboys sucks). He did what was necessary to fix me up and got me on my way in less than an hour. Price was very reasonable. I am really glad I found them as my car recently came off warranty so I have been in need of finding a good shop to work on and service my car. I got some tires that I purchased online put on by them a couple weeks ago and was pleased with that service, but this service/fix goes above and beyond!! They have earned all of my future business on my Audi!! I would highly recommend taking your car to them. Family owned, honest, knowledgeable.....

I am so happy I found FPFCR! I had a few issues with my vehicle and they were able to successfully solve both problems. I was able to pick up my vehicle the same day I dropped it off. Their price to resolve the problems was very reasonable. It is also a family run business and the owner has been in the business for 30 years. I prefer to support local business as long as they deliver quality service and their prices are reasonable. They delivered on both quality and price. I will be a customer for years to come.

These guys are great! I would recommend (and have) them to anyone in need of a knowledgeable, experienced, and honest car mechanic. We were new to Forest Park when we needed to have a service done on our Audi. We saw the reviews for these guys and decided to go with them when we saw that it would be really easy to drop the car off and walk to the blue line in the morning. They aren't fancy like the Audi dealers which is great because it keeps their prices down and their service personable. Vlad and his team know exactly what they are doing. They gave us full details on what was wrong with our car and didn't try to sneak in unnecessary work, especially when they could have very easily. They are officially our permanent mechanic from now on.

I guess i shouldn't have said I'll be back. A couple of months after my passenger side headlamp burned out the driver side one did as well. Fixed easily and reasonable on the price.

I've brought my car here on a few occasions and have found them trustworthy, reliable, and helpful. They do a great job in a reasonable amount of time for a fair price. It is not easy to find a good mechanic that I trust, but I've found one here. I would recommend FPFCR, and will be back with any future car trouble.
