I'm a huge fan of Oviedo Auto Repair! I moved to the area not long ago and took my car in to have the air conditioning worked on. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! Not only is Robert a skilled and talented mechanic, but he was very down-to-earth, personable, and fair. He let me know of other issues with the car and I returned a couple of months later to have the work done. He was able to fit me in that very day and before leaving, he walked around to the back of the car to look at a dent and scratch on the bumper that had been there for a year. I had mentioned earlier wanting a quote to have him fix it and he had fixed it at no charge! I will, of course, use Oviedo Auto Repair for all of my family's auto repair needs!

On Thursday, 07/31/2014, I called to reserve a truck to move my office. The agent asked when I wanted to pick up the truck and I told him at 5:30PM. I also told him that I might need the truck for two days, but that I would not know until the next day, Friday. The problem was that I had to move out of my existing office on 07/31/2014, but the owner had not yet signed the lease on my new office. It was supposed to be signed that day. I asked if I should just rent the truck for two days now. The agent said that it was no problem and that all I needed to do was to call and let him know if I needed it for an extra day. When I went to pick up the truck the receipt said that I was supposed to pick it up at 3:00PM. I brought this to the agent’s attention and he said it was no problem. He explained he was having some computer problems and he knew the time was supposed to be 5:30PM. The next morning about 10:00AM I called the agent to say that the lease had still not been signed and that I would probably need the truck for an extra day. The agent said it was no problem and that he would just extend the time by a couple of hours if I needed it. At 1:00PM my wife called to tell the agent that the lease was still not signed and we needed to keep the truck an extra day. The agent became enraged and yelled at my wife and told her she had better bring back the truck by 3:00PM. My wife handed me the phone and the agent yelled at me that my agreement said 3:00PM and that was when the truck was due back. He denied any previous knowledge of the prior conversation. I tried to reason with him and he became more enraged. I finally told him that I could not bring the truck back. It was loaded and I had no place to unload it. The agent then stated texting me about the truck. He texted that the truck was late after 3:00PM. He texted I needed to bring it back by 8:00AM the next day. Then he texted me asking when I was going to bring his truck back and I texted him that I would bring it back before 3:00PM that day. I took the truck back before noon. My lease was only signed at 4:00PM the night before. The agent said nothing. No apology, nothing! I have rented U-Haul trucks, car dollies and trailers for over forty years. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with anyone. Usually the service is excellent and friendly. I have never been treated so rudely by any U-Haul representative, or anyone else for that matter, as I was this time. To yell at my wife is inexcusable. Unless you are extremely hard up for agents, I would suggest you remove your franchise from this one. I will probably use U-Haul again in the future because of my previous experience with them. But if this had been my first experience I would never use U-Haul again. I know I will never use this agent again, nor will I do any other business with him. I can only imagine the number of young couples, just starting out, who have a similar experience with this agent and then choose to never use U-Haul again over the rest of their lives. In case your wondering, yes, it really was that bad. I really hope you take this complaint seriously and take your franchise away from this agent. I have never filed a complaint against a U-Haul agent before. You can check my record. But this experience was unbelievably bad.

AWESOME JOB!! I previously had a problem with my engine shaking and my brakes, i took them to many mechanic shops around the Orlando area but no one could really end up fixing the problem until i took my mini van to 'Oviedo Auto Repair' i notice after my car was not shaking and my brakes we're up to the correct performance thanks Oviedo Repair Shop.

I wanted to leave a review, because this is honestly the most professional, honest, mechanic I have ever worked with. I brought my Chevrolet Caprice in a couple years ago, because the transmission was slipping and having issues. I know I'm a stubborn man to be driving such an old used police car, especially when it's 20 years old, but it was my first car, and it means a lot to me, there's a lot of memories traveling with this car. Fearing the worst, especially after AAMCO wanted like 5 thousand dollars to repair it, Oviedo Auto Repair was very honest in their price, and was literally 1/4 the cost (I think it was even less!). This gave me enough money to still afford a rental so I could get to work. In literally less than 1 week, my transmission was completely rebuilt. Couple years later, this transmission still runs like a champ, better than it ever has. I will always highly recommend this shop. There was another review, where someone wasn't even a customer, but claimed he did other repairs without approval. I can understand the frustration, but there are indeed times where another repair may need to be done. In my case, my rear main seal was bad, and I find it good of Oviedo Auto Repair to fix that while the transmission is removed, rather than put the transmission back in the car, with a rear main seal that is going to spill oil all over it. It is good honesty like that, that makes them the best in my opinion!

It is a rarity to find a place and people like Oviedo Auto Repair when stressed and suffering from car trouble - (10 out of 10. Two thumbs up. Would go to them again for any other work I will have done) - Trustworthy, reliable, and hard-working. They genuinely care about the customer, their car, and its troubles. They listen, are flexible, and are happy to work with you. In my experience with them, they went above and beyond to do right by me and give me the best work I could get at the best price anyone could have offered. My car wouldn't even start when I came in contact with them. Now, the car has been driving great, there's little things I notice that show the dramatic improvement Oviedo Auto Repair made to it (beyond just the fact that they pretty much ressurected it, brought it back from the dead and made it driveable again, which is obviously a major improvement, lol) like the engines temperature doesn't seem to increase when I idle instaneously anymore and the steering wheel doesn't shake if I pick up speed and a bunch of other signs that tell me that they really fixed this guy up. I couldn't be more appreciative. Thankyou thankyou thankyou so much Robert and his team at Oviedo Auto Repair. You guys are life savers.

Robert is one of the most unethical pieces of scum to ever walk this planet. He's the typical mechanic that has fake 5 star reviews to make you come into his disgusting auto shop. Than he wants to say you owe $1000 worth of work and it's already done but he couldn't call you for approval because AND I QOUTE FROM THE MAN HIMSELF "imagine if I'm in the middle of brain surgery, I can't wake you up to ask you if you don't want me to replace a certain part of your brain".... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? HOW DO YOU COMPARE BRAIN SURGERY TO AUTO REPAIR?! He thinks because he is a veteran, he can do and say whatever he wants. Obviously this man is in some financial trouble, which doesn't surprise me as this man is the most unethical POS ever! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! Look at the REAL negative reviews!!! The man acts like a child when he responds because he can't defend himself over TRUE STATEMENTS. DONT LET THE FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS FOOL YOU!!

The best mechanic you can find. My mom has been going to him for many years, and always says he's very trustworthy and fair. Today my boyfriend and I took our cars in to get some problems fixed, and he was able to fix them super fast, and he was very kind to us! I don't know how anyone could find something to complain about, because this guy does an excellent job, and you won't find a better, more hard working, and honest mechanic than him.

I was running late to pick up the Uhaul Truck for my moved they were closed but waited for me to arrive to pick up the truck. When I arrived everyone was so friendly and professional. I was late dropping the truck of and the owner was understanding..They were so professional I would also utilized this business for auto repairs.

Worst service I've ever experienced.
Rented a U-Haul trailer in another part of Florida, with the designated return location of Oviedo Auto Repair.
I pull into the parking lot, and a surly man wearing a Dixie flag bandana, forces me to test all of the lights on the trailer.
When I mentioned that I had never had a U-Haul dealership test the lights on a trailer when I was TURNING IT IN, he suddenly said "I don't have any room--take it somewhere else'--and walked away from me.
I was left to call U-Haul to find another location to turn in the trailer
God forbid that a member of my family would have to endure this kind of treatment.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever, I rented a large U-Haul on Friday and returned it on Saturday, I left my house keys in the U-Haul and called them Saturday evening. I called Saturday evening expecting to leave a message, the owner answered the phone and was very rude, and was very unreceptive to helping me that evening. I wouldn't use Oviedo auto repair to put my car fire out if it were burning in his driveway, that business is absolutely terrible.

I used Oviedo Auto Repair in order to rent a Uhual for a day. When I went to pick-up the rental I was assisted by a female worker. You instantly could tell that she was not the most friendliest of people. She was quite rude to myself and another customer and did nothing but complain about several Uhual customers that had been there earlier that morning and how it wasn't her priority to attend them. I ended up renting a truck and a furniture dolly.
I returned the truck and took photos of the returned equipment as well as after photos with time and date stamps on the photo, as I understand the importance of documentation especially when you are dealing with unprofessional individuals such as individuals who own this auto repair shop.
The following Monday I received two missed calls from store and a voicemail from the shop stating that I needed to return the equipment and that I would be charged for same if I did not return. I returned the call at 9:45 pm once I got out of work and left a voicemail requesting a return call. No return call was received.
I called the next morning and the first thing that comes out is how dare I contact him at 2:00 am and that it better be important. No call was ever made at that time. I attempted to explain my rebuttal has I had been charged for several items that had not been rented. He told me to wait on the phone and that it would be a while since he needed to take care of his auto repair customers first and then handle Uhual customers who are given a second class treatment. He had me wait on the phone for a period of time and then told me that he was going to call me back, because he just had four customers walk-in. I asked him when there was a good time to call him in order to address this issue and then the gentlemen stated, "There is never a good time for you to call me." He then said that he would call me back on his time.
I later received a call from him and thaw first thing that comes out of his mouth is "Contract Number?" in a rude tone of voice. I provided him with the requested information and proceeded to tell him my issue with the false charges from the rental. He then advised that he could not help me. I advised him that I had photos and that my original receipt that did not mention anything in regards to the rental equipment provided in the statement of charges once I had completed the rental trip.
This is definitely not a professional place to go to. There are several other automobile repair shops and uhual rental places that will treat you with respect and be courteous as one should be when they run their own business. I don't understand how this unprofessional business owner can continue to incorporate Uhual into his business as he can't even run his own business. Place looks like a dump and you can tell that he doesn't get much business from auto repair. I'm sure his competency level is less of that than the your average incompetent individual. Just do away with Uhual if your so miserable. They won't miss you, I'm sure of it. They have plenty of third-party businesses that operate with professional standards.
Will definitely be contacting Uhual corporate in regards to the incompetent/sleazy business owner.
