You really can't find a shop anymore where you feel comfortable with the level of service, trust that the job will be done right and that you aren't being taken advantage of when it's time to pull out the credit card. These places just don't exist right? Wrong You just haven't made your way to New Again auto repair yet. I chanced upon this shop when my local dealership wanted to sign my firstborn away for a front end result after an accident. The first thing I encountered was a friendly and open atmosphere. Everything was 100% above board, with a comprehensive picture layout of the entire process. Hector and Julio explained exactly what they were going to do, and as I left the keys to my beloved Ford I felt at ease in doing so. When the car was ready I came back and to my astonishment I couldn't even recognize that I'd ever been in an accident. The paint was immaculate, the fenders perfectly straight and it ran as good as it looked. I would recommend this shop to anyone, any time. They do amazing work and are completely fair with the price. If you want to turn a frustrating experience like car repair into one of ease and comfort, you need to go to New Again I know I will!

Working with Hector and Julio at New Again Autobody was a unique pleasure in-that we had to bring our vehicles in for autobody work and the outcome every single time over many years has been A+. The service was excellent, the follow-up is on-point, workmanship is clearly very skilled and the team is very nice. My wife and I are glad to have a contact like this when we need them. Hopefully not too much in the future (if you know what I mean). However, when going through an accident it really helps to know that a well-skilled shop like this exists. It truly takes away many worries that typically come after an accident. They are true "artists" in their trade. Thanks guys! Mike

I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in 2013. I decided to go with my insurance carriers "network shop" in order to avoid any issues with workmanship because they offered a lifetime warranty on all repairs. The workmanship on the repairs that cost the insurance carrier around 9k looked good on the outside. The first thing to go was my engine liner, it was zipped tied to the vehicle and flung off in the highway almost causing an accident. I took it back and was replaced with a brand new liner, only to find out that the clips that where used to hold it together began to fall off. (They didn't use the vehicle originals) Months later the workmanship showed its true colors. My front bumpers paint started to peel, the bumper itself started to come off and my headlights bulbs just died. My vehicle had aftermarket HID bulbs which they charged me additionally for because only one was damaged in the accident. Months later it stopped working because of a short (it was installed incorrectly). They replaced it. This time they lasted a bit longer, only to blow out again. I had a specialist remove them at DSP Auto only to tell me that someone had drilled a hole on the back of both headlights to facilitate the installment and run the wires through there. This is why the bulbs would burn out, water and moisture would get into the headlamp and burn the bulbs. I took my car back to their shop to get repainted. I asked that they call me when the job was complete. I never got a call back, i had to hunt them down and ask if my vehicle was complete. Hector stated the vehicle was complete and was ready. I had to go pick up my vehicle after their work hours only to find that my vehicle was outside the shop with a completely flat right rear tire, the bumper was sticking out from the sides and bumper clips where on the windshield. I was forced to leave the vehicle there again. I followed up and they said the repairs where done again. Finally the front bumper looked good. Days later it started coming off again, the blue they had put on the sides of the bumper began to come off. I have emailed them and the insurance carrier advising them to repair my car and now all of a sudden all the damages are not related and not covered. I have begun legal proceedings against this body shop. Do not, DO NOT use their services. I'm a pretty easy going guy, and never even asked for a rental vehicle due to the inconvenience of their poor workmanship. I will see you guys in court with all documents and pictures proving my case. Good luck to you.

They have served my cars in several occasions They also speak Spanish which is a plus for me Since they can explain anything Definitely recommend this place

I had a road trip to New England coming up so I brought my late 90s Subaru Forester to Moshe's shop for a major tune up and perhaps lots of maintenance. I wasn't sure what needed doing.
Moshe drove me to the Metro in my car to see how it ran and we discussed various Subaru issues. This was great, since my office is right near the red line. Moshe mentioned that he bought a Subaru for his daughter and thinks they are great except for one known issue (a gasket problem).
Later that day, he inspected the car (himself) and gave me a very specific assessment of what he thought needed to happen, what would be good to do, and what he himself would do if it were his car. This was really helpful.
The work was great and the car is running well thanks to Moshe. His quote was quite reasonable, he had it ready when he said he would, he has tremendous expertise, the work was high quality (it seemed to me, though I am no gear-head), and his advice was great.
Most importantly to me he communicates clearly and is honest--neither is a given in the auto business.
(Note: the work was performed July 2014. I just recommended Moshe to a friend and that prompted me to remember that I never wrote a review.)

While traveling to DC for the weekend, my car started making a really weird banging sound. I was super concerned and nervous because I was so far away from home. Luckily I stumbled upon Moshe's Auto Care! Moshe was not only very nice and helpful, he is super honest and direct. He didn't try to "upsell" me on services, and just addressed the issue at hand. He gave me all my options, and told me certain things I had no idea about. No one has ever taken the time to explain a car repair with me before. My only regret is that Moshe isn't in New York! Thanks again!

It's rare that a mechanic talks you OUT of making a $1,000 repair to your car, but that is what happened to me with Moshe today. I called to compare the price of replacing the water pump on my 2005 Volvo S40 today because I was told by the Volvo specialist where I have my car serviced that it needs to be done. Moshe patiently asked the story behind the car and why I requested such a specific repair. He then quoted me a price that was about 30% cheaper than my other mechanic and told me that I didn't need to do the work to begin with for many more miles. I can't say that he's got the right recipe for getting rich, but he seems to be plenty honest.

Moshe is the best. It's a down to business attitude but one that is fair, cheaper than competition, and honest. You don't find a better mechanic than Moshe.
My story: I have a junk car but can't afford a new one. Moshe tells the truth (it might not be worth it to fix this), rather than trying to charge me unnecessarily. I've had a lot of bad experiences with mechanics, and I'm glad I finally found one that is actually honest.

I've been a customer of MAC since it's incarnation many years ago. There is no one I'd trust more. The owner -- yes the OWNER, he actually works on the cars himself! -- has always been upfront with things concerning my vehicles (and there have been quite a few he's serviced), many times forfeiting the opportunity to make money off a repair to save me money. Everyone at MAC has a good, friendly personality and are very welcoming. I've also had fast turnaround times. I'm in Arlington now, so I do see other mechanics for smaller issues (oil changes; bulb replacements) but for major needs, I stick with MAC because I've never had an issue with a repair, never had to come in for a re-do (which I have had to do at other 4- and 5- star Yelp rated places) and I've never felt that I was scammed or cheated as the prices have always been fair and competitive.

We took our 3 Hondas to Moshe's and we were satisfied with him because of his honesty and his opinionated advice . It is a small shop so he personally supervised his worker. He has a lot of experience which he is willing to share honestly. The only con I found was that you need to make an apointment in advance. which sometimes means to wait a week or so if he is very busy . However , when we had an emergency case- he was always able to take a look at it . We take the car there for major repairs because we trust him blindly.

I first went to Moshe when the Lexus dealer recommended more than $4000 in repairs. Moshe, who was shocked at the dealer's estimate, checked out the car and made the necessary repairs for 60% less. That was one year ago and the car is fine and I still go back to him today. He is honest and takes the time to talk with you about everything he recommends and then discusses the repairs when you pick up the car. The last time he showed me the air filter, which was disgusting, and he questioned whether the dealer ever changed it, even after 90,000 miles. Car repair can be an intimidating experience but I cannot recommend Moshe more highly. There's no pressure nor condescending attitude. I will now take my other car to Moshe as well.
