After buying a used car from Import Auto Brokers and it needing a new engine less than 60 days later. Carland Service Center came to the rescue! Fisher is the BEST! He actually found out the root of the problem, then went the extra step and showed me the problems and explain them in terms I could understand them in. In addition, he did not go straight to the most expensive fix, which you have no idea how much I appreciate that since I had just bought and really did not have the money for the repairs. When I met him I told him I just needed him to be an honest guy, and that he was! I am extremely grateful that he helped this VERY BROKE Solider out! I just want you to know do not lose him because I might have to follow him where every he goes! Therefore, this brings me to an EXCELLENT score for the repair! The customer service level of Kristen is off the charts!!! She even came in on her day off when my other car broke down to get me set up with a loaner car. I am extremely grateful for her going above and beyond the call of duty and always keeping me informed! I am a recruiter and would gladly put her to work at any of my clients due to her diligent and EXCELLENT customer service! I honestly feel she deserves a promotion! THIS IS THE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR!

The service manager at the service center- John Kubow is excellent. I would recommend to anyone having a problem to look him up. The location is very convenient and they seem very focused on making sure my Honda will make it on Georgia 400!

Service advisor( Andrew Prucha) did it again by giving me excellent service on my Odyssey Van. Whenever I have a car problem... I think to call Andrew for his help getting me back to driving a safe car. If his service center can't address the issues, he will steer you towards a better solution. He knows how to get the job done quick and effectively. My husband, who does not trust car service advisors, felt very appreciative for the support from Andrew. That's why I tell others to go see Andrew for great care.

Mr. Brett Freedman; Sorry you had a less than Excellent experience at our facility. We at Carland Service Center do our very best to try to make everybody as happy as possible. No, we are not perfect but we do try our hardest to make every customer "Happy". Are we going to make mistakes? Absolutely - we are after all human. The only one to get it perfect every single time will be God himself. As far as your service is concerned, maybe if you posted the ENTIRE story will it be a valid statement on your review post. I tend not to reply to these negative posts but your post has gotten the better of me. If there were a way to photo capture your night drop envelope and show how vague it was as per your instructions. We addressed ALL of your concerns, your factory recall, the repair to the switch for your heated seat (extended warranty) and your "B" service. According to Honda's maintenance guidelines; a "B" service is an Oil Change accompanied by a Multipoint inspection. We completed all of your requests and when we called to tell you what was found on your Multipoint Inspection (including needing tires replaced on the front) you declined everything. Its one thing to give us a review (Positive or Negative) in regards to your experience; if its a negative review we take them seriously and try to build ourselves from those and better ourselves because our #1 goal is to make our customers happy. Again, my personal apologies for your less than Excellent experience.

Don't bother making appointment, they don't honor them. Made appointment 1st time, told to wait 1.5 to 2 hours for an oil change once I arrive. Re-booked for earlier another day. Arrive and told the wait will be 2 hours for an oil change. They don't honor appointments over walk ins and have poor customer service which is ridiculous considering how much higher they are than everyone else for things like oil changes.

Very bad experience today. I have an appointment at 7:30am for my 2008 Honda Odyssey. Waited about 5 minutes for the service Guy (AJ --- new guy to me) to come to the service desk. He came without Greetings, asked my name 3 times, I wanted to pickup his pen in front of him to write my name for him, he then quickly covered the pen with his hands. He turned the monitor back to me since was standing beside the desk. Asked me do I need a timing belt service. I said: "no. today I need oil change & a brake light replacement & a battery checkup". He then asked me to wait or leave the vehicle ? I said: "I'd like to wait and then go to work. How long will it take ?" He said: "1 hour", I said: "OK ". Then he said: "1 hour and half to ... to ... 2 hours" I said: "this is way too long for my expectation. I have to go to work." (end of story)

I hate going to car service centers. I think they're worse than going to the dentist or the doctor's, but I guess that depends on how much you love your doctor.
My latest trip to this Honda Service Center was ok. I had received some recall notices for my Accord so I wanted to make sure these items were fixed promptly. FYI, this isn't a full-service service center so some repairs may still need to be done at a dealership. This location primarily handles oil changes.
When I pulled into the service bay, I wasn't greeted. I stood around not knowing what to do for like 5 minutes. Eventually a service advisor came out, greeted me and helped. I got the impression that nothing would be done for me since I was there for recall notices for issues that weren't exactly broken. Before I left, they told me two things I needed replaced: inserts (wiper blade inserts) and a cabin filter. I politely declined because 1) the wiper blades were replaced no more than 4 months ago, and 2) I'll gladly have our family mechanic friend take care of anything else. Again, I'm only here because of recall fixes which are Honda's responsibility.
My word of advice: be knowledgeable about your car's service history. If I had let my dad bring my car in for service, he would have said yes to those blades/filter and spent $100 total on things that either don't need to be replaced or can be replaced elsewhere for a better price. Otherwise, if you're there for a while, their wifi works pretty well and they do offer rides if you need one.
Will I be returning? I'm not a huge fan, but it's better than Curry Honda and maybe a slight notch better than their sister location Honda Carland in Roswell.

I just had another great experience having my Honda Odessey serviced, thanks to Andrew Prucha (service advisor). Whenever I have a car problem... I think to call Andrew to help me with any car maintenance. If his service center can't address the issues, he will steer you towards a better solution. He definitely looks out for the best of his customers. I refer his name to others that are needing an advisor who they can trust. He knows how to get the job done quick and effectively. For me.. it's like coming to visit a friend who can make your vehicle maintenance as painless as possible. I'll be a returning customer in the future for sure!

I have brought in my Accord and Odyssey to here for service & repair for last 15 years, they charge a bit more than others, but their service advisors like Steve Stewart has been provided superior customer service. So I have been quite please with them. However, since the change of management last year (?), its customer service is going downhill, especially for my last 2 visits. It is looks like now the advisors are tasked to squeeze more money out of customers and wants quick turn around of the job. Advisor like Luis Diodonet does not even bother to shake your hand after the job is finished. Just throw the car key to you and ask you to look for the car yourself. :( Now I would rank this place as the same customer service level as Wal-mart Auto Center or Pepboy's or NTB. No need to pay extra for so so service. It is time to take my business to elsewhere. Ciao !

I received a phone call from Honda Carland informing us it was time for service. I informed the lady on the phone we needed an oil change in the near future, but that was it. She wanted our e-mail address, and since I was busy at work was hesitant to stay on the phone. She informed me they were having an oil change special for $29.99 and that e-mail was the only way to receive the discount. I relented, gave my e-mail address and went back to work. The e-mailed coupon stated that if you request 0W-20 oil then it would cost $10 more. The 2002 Honda Civic calls for 5W-20 oil so I wasn't concerned, and I informed my wife that our car took 5W-20 per the owner manual. In the e-mail header the address listed to have service was Honda Carland Service Center, 11300 State Bridge Road, Alpharetta, GA 30022, 678-624-0050,
My wife scheduled an appointment over the web and took her car in for an oil change. She presented the coupon up front and the sales tech told her the coupon was not valid, since they only used 0W-20 oil, and didn't carry other oil weights, so the oil change would be roughly $39. She stated other locations carried other weights of oil, but this location only carried 0W-20 oil. My wife went ahead and had the oil changed, which is what they were counting on, since she had already taken time out of her work day to have this done.
We have been using this location for years, and will never go back after this bait and switch. Why go out of your way to call me, send me a discount with your address in the e-mail, then pull a bait and switch on us for $10. If the $10 is that important to you, keep it and you just lost our business for life.
I will change the oil on the Honda Civic myself, and hope this review will inform others about your business practices. And I will use 5W-20, since in GA there is no reason to switch to 0W-20, especially in the summer.

This type of business is hard because as a customers we get frustrated, dealing with the problems of our vehicle. However, people who work at the service department make that experience a lot less frustrating. I'm glad a can take my car to a place I can trust and feel somebody is taking care of my car.

I've come to this place in the past (I bought an Accord from them) and they were okay. A LONG time ago. Fast forward six or so years. I won't be going back to them again.
I made an appointment yesterday after calling around to two other Honda dealerships (including one close to my house)... I made an appointment for today (or so I thought)... dropped my car off this morning at the scheduled time and now almost three hours later (I was told yesterday it would take TWO hours)...
I find out that not only was I not scheduled, but they have NO idea why I brought my car in (which makes sense now that I know I wasn't in the system). Keep in mind that I TOLD the service advisor that I had an appointment for 10am, today. He looked me up and didn't bother noticing that I wasn't in the system. I ALSO told him WHY I was bringing my car in... Again, he could have notated that and oh I DON'T KNOW, tell me I wasn't scheduled.
So after waiting almost THREE hours, I call them only to be put on hold then told someone will call me back shortly. I wait twenty minutes and call back. Again, placed on hold. Then I get blasted in my ear with redial/transfer dial tones. Twice. I speak to who I can only assume is the service manager and have to ask questions to find out that I wasn't scheduled and they didn't know what was going on with my car.
How about some integrity? Just own up to your mistake and fix it. Don't play twenty questions with me in an accusatory tone, as if I am mistaken about my ability to make an appointment. That is your employee's shortcoming, not mine.
So when I tell her I want to come and take my car elsewhere (I was dropped off at a coffee shop this morning), she tells me that she doesn't want me to do that and to give her another hour. I don't CARE if they don't charge me for this... time is money and I had better things to do with four, five hours of my day.
Now I worry it will be a rush job and I will be driving my car out of town tomorrow evening. SO, I won't be going back to this service center. I suggest you avoid it as well unless you enjoy headaches and wasting your time.
Lesson learned. Just sit in the small, crappy waiting area close to home and get it done right. Don't drive farther to save yourself some agony... resulting in even more agony.

We took our car here to get the faulty airbag replaced per the recall. Terrence said we needed to replace the CV axle boot at a cost of $330, and about double that if they replaced the axle too. We chose to have the work done elsewhere as we thought that was high and were suspect of the diagnosis. Another shop said they would replace the boot AND axle for about $300. But when they examined the car they just shook their heads and said there was nothing wrong with this boot or axle, and places like Honda Carland Service Center are what give other mechanics a bad name. We will never go back to HCSC, and our NON-Honda auto shop has gained a loyal customer.

This is the worst car service I have ever experienced. First, I had a coupon that said I can get an oil change for $19.99. It expired two days before I called and they told me they cannot accept it. I was fine with it until my wife called Gwinnett Honda and they told me they would be glad to accept it. When I brought my car to Gwinnett and got my oil change. They finished it but said I needed new brakes. Since I had a warranty for Carland I reluctantly had to go back there. When I went back to get my brakes done, they told me it will be an hour or two. So I had a friend pick me up and I went to the office. They said that it was $250 even with a lifetime warranty because of labor.... Sounds fishy but I needed it done. Three hours later I went to Carland and they told me its going to be two hours to get it fixed. I asked why it's taking so long because somebody told me it would take two hours... There answer was that it will take two hours to look at my car.... Now I am stuck here for the past two hours.... Worst customer service.

I've been coming here for 5-6 years, and yeah they're a little pricey at times but I always chalked it up to great service and a good quality job. Terrence has been my advisor for the longest time and he's been great, but I took my Accord in today for a basic oil change, tire rotation and balance and they wanted nearly $100! Usually I pay $60+/- for this so I told the new guy who didn't even introduce himself that I had a coupon from another Honda dealer and he said they no longer take those coupons. Wth? So you raise your prices to ridiculous amounts and no longer take coupons? He was so arrogant and rude, it was ridiculous. I start looking on my phone to see if they have a coupon and he immediately says "we don't have any coupons!" I immediately told him to bring my car back around, I was no longer doing service with them, and his response? "Okay." Wow. On my way out I called the service manager to let him know they just lost a loyal customer, but he wasn't very concerned, over $20 versus the thousands I've spent there. No wonder his employees don't care. So sad! There's too many dealerships and service centers out there to give this crummy one my money any longer!!!

When you need to get your car serviced beyond the basic oil change or tire rotation, it's usually in your best interest to take it to the dealership. While it might not be in the best interest of your wallet, you at least have peace of mind in knowing that peope who are experts in your car are diagnosing problems and repairing them.
I took our Pilot to this location for the 100K scheduled maintenance. While there, I had them check for 3 other things that I was concerned about. They hooked me up with a free rental car and told me they'd call me back later in the day with their findings. Unfortunately, they found a several things they recommended that I should either replace or fix, and the cost was well over $2500. I don't know about you, but that's a lot of money to me...especially for something that seems to be working fine already. I think my service manager could sense my sticker shock, so he began proposing ways we could get the cost to come down. There were coupons I could download, efficiencies in labor we could take advantage of and some items that weren't necessarily urgent at this point. Working together with him, we were able to get the costs down several hundred dollars. It still ended up costing me a small fortune, but the savings took some of the sting out of it.
At every step of the process, each person I met at Honda Carland was courteous, friendly and professional. I just wish it wasn't so expensive to fix a vehicle at the dealership!

Usually I won't bother with writing a review for a dealer that services cars. I also usually wouldn't drive 22 miles to get to a dealer that services cars.
Since I'm doing both the above...it is clear that I am a fan of Honda Carland's service center. It's quick, quality, extremely reasonable and the service is stellar.

Totally agree with the recent five star reviews. I was visiting Atlanta and needed help with a door problem with my Odyssey. The service department was very responsive by phone and in person. The problem was quickly diagnosed and fixed. I met the technician who explained the problem and while there he did a thorough inspection and gave me some feedback on a few maintenance needs for the near future. When I checked out there was no charge. I was reluctant when reading some old reviews to call. Glad I did as I observed nothing but courtesy and professionalism.

Awesome service. Highly recommend to save you a drive to Roswell. Took my accord in for a check up and a recall notice. Was greeted immediately upon walking in, took care of the necessary information, and handed over my keys. This was a pretty big checkup so my time in the waiting room was long! With that being said, they need to update their waiting room, put in a vending machine or something! You can always walk to the nearby fast food if you are in dire need. More importantly, my car was done, runs great and I will be returning for future services!

I bought my car from them and have had it serviced here a few times. I'm VERY happy with Honda Carland. I will buy another one from them when I'm ready. I just wish it was closer to me. I gave it four stars instead of five only because the service from the body shop can be a bit slow and unresponsive. Compared to the saab dealership I used to deal with...these guys deserve 100 stars!
