I've known them for years and they've always taken great care of my vehicles for a fair price. They're the only people I go to. They've even given me great referrals for my plumbing, heater,etc. They always go the extra mile. They give me a heads up on any concerns he sees. They're not pushy about it, they give me an estimate, and they are less expensive. I highly recommend Tom and Diane. You really need to stop in and meet them for yourself

We traveled to Lewes from the Washington, DC area this last weekend and Saturday night experienced a loud, grinding noise under the car. Was afraid to drive back home without someone checking the cause of the problem. Called multiple repair shops (it was Sunday and most were closed) and found D&T Garage. When I called there was no answer so assumed they were also closed; hung up and continued trying to find a repair shop. Around 5 minutes later my cell range and it was Tom, the owner of B&T. I explained my problem and the need to be back in Washington on Monday for a critical appointment. Tom stated they were closed but would meet me at the garage and try to identify the problem. Long story short - he and Diane arrived; Tom took one look at my rear brake assembly and said he would have it fixed in no time. He called and secured the parts and we were on our way home by 2:00pm. Words can not express how grateful we were for both Tom and Diane's professionalism and act of kindness towards us. In addition, the charges were fair and I could not have asked for a better price. If there were 10 stars to a review; B&G would have mine without any reservation.

At end of vacation our car needed repairs. This was the only place that help us and fixed our car the same day. They were great! Love this place! I would highly recommend D & T for your car repairs. Thank you so much Tom and Diane!

I originally called this garage for a tow to Meineke in Lewes for a vehicle that I had purchased for my son. We knew it needed engine work and Meineke was going to quote us for free. I talked to this guy who bad mouthed Meineke and told me that he could look at my vehicle for free as well. He told me Meineke was over priced. I informed him of the vehicle that I was purchasing and he told me over the phone that the engine in this vehicle was bulletproof and that they were not known for blown heads or cracked blocks and that it should be an easy fix. I was quoted a tow of $65. I had him pick this vehicle up and look at it. Weeks later he told me it needed an engine and that we could find one for about $2300 and install (labor) would put it right around $3300. He had this vehicle since June 21st and it took him almost 3 weeks to get us a quote and pricing that then jumped to $5400. Funny thing is, there are no used engines for a 4.7L Dodge Durango they only crush them at the junk yard. I would need a rebuilt or nothing. (You think he would have known this with 30 years of experience) We told him that was way too much for my 17 year old. He told us that the truck looked sound and clean and that placing a rebuilt engine in it would get my son through 3 years with a Jasper engine. We decided to sell the vehicle and I told him to check around and see if anyone wanted it. He said he would check and see if anyone was interested. We called and called. He said he wanted to buy it but wanted to put it on the lift first. (Shouldn't he have already done this????) I wanted atleast the $800 I paid for it back out of it. He offered my son $300 for it when I was away and I told my son no. We decided to sell it for a higher amount and have it towed out. When my son went to pay the $65 tow, the bill was $145. He charged us for an hour labor for him to look at it to see if he wanted to purchase it for himself. My son said he was mad and treated him bad. I guess he thought we were stuck taking the $300??? He knew my 17 year old was stuck in a rough spot with the truck and acted sincere but stuck him in the end. He charged $70 for the tow and $75 for the hour of labor. He really screwed us over, kept the vehicle way too long with way too many phone calls and me asking about what was going on with the quote, etc. 9 weeks!!!!! Meineke would have given me a quote the same day. Not weeks and months later. My son called and stopped by and he always said that he would get to it tomorrow. It is now August 14th and he only gave my son a receipt for the tow and hour labor. He never even gave us an official quote on paper. You think $75, I would at least be able to look at something. We have lost so much money and time by dealing with this shop. Who does this to a 17 year old? We are at a loss and I would never do this to a kid. God will handle this ugly, because I am giving it up to him. 9 weeks and my son suffers. What a POS.

Diane and Tom are two of the FINEST people you will ever meet! They truly care about you the customer and getting you the BEST prices on all the services they perform.Big name auto repair shops here in the area could learn ALOT from them and their staff!!! My experience with them has been Awesome and they will be my repair shop of choice for ALL my future needs!!!!
