The springs and the work performed are five star. Brought my truck in early one day, had to call at 4;30 PM to find out it hadn't even been started because of problems with a bigger job. A call would have been appropriate.

Spring broke on our 5th wheel in Palmer on way down tio Homer from Seattle. Called all RV dealers that said would be a month plus to get at it. One of them recommended Alaska Spring who said they could do it next day if we could get it there. We did and they did. Interesting people and interesting place. Replaced all of our springs with stronger ones. Expensive but improved suspension and we/they saved our vacation. Got good fishing advice to boot. Hope not to go back but very glad they were there

I have been going to AK Spring and Performance ever since they opened. They have always been very honest and helpful to me. My son had a '96 Bronco and they made that beast purr. I have had my other cars their for numerous repairs and they are always very friendly and fair with their cost. I would gladly reccomend AK Spring and Performance to anyone who may need repairs on their cars and trucks.

On my recent summer trip thru Alaska my CJ8 Jeep transmission lost 4th gear and soon was to quit all together... Boy am I glad I found these guys! (Especially John the owner and his right hand man Allen)Not only did they know the vehicle inside and out but they completely rebuilt the transmission (sounds and shifts better than new) All work was done in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost, even though some parts had to be shipped in from the lower 48. They even gave me a ride back across town! Not only are they the 'go to' guys for 4X4 needs but they are experts with motorhome and truck repair and a lot more.Also while there I got hooked up with great off road lights, their expertise with them and other accessories is excellent.Highly recommended!!!

I used to really like this place but now I know better. To make a long story short.....I brought my truck in for what I thought was a minor issue and they told me I had to replace the engine. They quoted me $7800 for a new engine and after I told them I would drive it back to the Valley and worry about it here they said it was a guarantee it wouldn't make it. It has been several weeks now and my engine is fine. The only thing wrong with it was one of my spark plug wires was not connected which I coincidentally asked them to check when they replaced an engine coil two weeks prior. Absolutely disgusted on how they tried to take advantage of me. I will never go back. My suggestion, go somewhere else.

I was Looking to get my Car Lowered as this being my First car EVER...My father suggested it as it gives better performance and Less Body roll, to I decided to get the springs for my Sonic, and I tired going to the Place where I got my Tires First Put on which was The Tire Shop, at the time I Took it in...and they told they were unable to Install the Springs because they didn't have the necessary tool required to install it, BUT....after taking it to Alaska Spring, they WHERE able to Do it and they even Told me that the tool wasn't hard to Acquire, so I left it there overnight because they needed to work on a Few Other Customers Vehicles they had mine Finished in ONE Day!!!!....& I'm VERY Pleased with their Service, & I would recommend them to ANYONE.

Passing through Anchorage, we discovered our rear axle had sprung a leak. As we are not native to the area, we were weary of finding an honest shop with reasonable rates for quality work on our custom 4x4 Adventure Mobile. Lucky for us, Alaska Spring was just that. After showing up bright and early at the shop, we were greeted with signs of a quality 4x4 shop (Warn, Buckstop, and Rigid Lights). The GM, John, was very helpful and worked some magic into their busy Monday schedule to get us in. This kept us from needing to spend extra days, that we didn't have, getting the truck fixed in Anchorage. The mechanic who specifically worked on our vehicle was incredibly thorough and super friendly. While that alone would warrant a 5 Star review from me, they continued to go the extra mile. Our 4 wheel drive vacuum pump had gone out a few weeks before on our travels, and we had finally found the part we needed in Anchorage hoping to install it ourselves. After some more research, we found that the install was going to take more time and tools than we had. The mechanic working on our rig was able to install the part for us as well, and did a great job. Bottom line, fair pricing, solid work, and good people. Give these a guys a call!!
