My first time at Dagwood's I was broke down with no appointment and they stayed late to get me on the road. I have been to Dagwood's many times since. The other auto repair shops were ok, but when I went to Dagwood's, they were cheaper, more honest, and seem to be more caring. Excellent place for your automotive needs. Highly recommended, 100% satisfaction guaranteed.

I have taken my vehicle to this location for several years now and have always had good service. The mechanics are very good at what they do and have a lot of knowledge about all makes and models. I recommend anyone to go here. They have always treated me like family.

Honestly can't say enough about the people at Dagwood's. I've been in MT P for about 9 years and they have always serviced all of my vehicles. It's always a very fair price and they are extremely honest about what must be done NOW and what can wait. My daughter is a CMU student and was stranded at her apartment complex with a broken down vehicle. The day before, we had spent $442.00 to fix the issue at a repair facility at "home". We had the vehicle towed to Dagwood's and they diagnosed and fixed the problem right away. Fortunately, the first shop is refunding some money but Dagwood's was honest, had great communication and explained thoroughly what the problem was. More than EXCELLENT shop! (And, for CMU students, they offer $12.99 oil changes!)

I've been bringing all if my cars here. The guys are nice and don't try to scam a female for more then the oil change I came in for. On this particular time, my dog was in the car and they let me bring her and they even gave her a bowl of water. Thanks Dagwoods!

Our daughter has brought her 17 year old Saturn to you twice within the last couple if years. The first was for a brake repair that turned into a pretty big one, and today for a diagnostic because a light inside the car was lit and she needed to make sure. Horrible service. Took my prior vehicle there due to it having timing chain issues. They informed me that my engine was seized and I needed a new engine! I could not afford a new engine, so I sold the vehicle "as is" for a fraction of its worth. A mechanic different bought it, and informed me a couple days later that the engine was fine and the timing chain came apart and caused it to jump timing, and I also had a crack in the exhaust manifold... I have made three attempts to get answers from Dagwoods and have been ignored. Dirty company who has cost me a lot of money by falsely diagnosing my vehicle and made zero attempts to make things right. I would not recommend anyone wasting time or money on this place.

They put too long of an idler arm on my vehicle, and has caused metal on metal and alot of creaking. I do not recommend anyone to go here, they obviously only care about one thing. $$$$$$

I'm not one to openly hand out bad reviews but I felt it necessary given my experience with Dagwood. I came into Dagwood's because I had coolant in my oil. They diagnosed the issue and, close to $500 later, replaced the water pump. It's a bit steep for a water pump replace but it needed to be done. After I picked the car up, I noticed they didn't change the oil which should have been included. I changed the oil myself. About a week later I noticed that there was more coolant in the oil and that the coolant was draining. So I called them and took the car back in. They couldn't find out why there was coolant in the oil and why the coolant was draining. They wanted to charge me just over $40 for trying to find out why. I inquired if they would cover the $40 charge since the problem should have been fixed by now. They got a bit hostile at this point and said that "The water pump was faulty and we didn't replace the wrong thing". Though, I never claimed it wasn't faulty, I simply didn't want to pay for a follow up to a problem that should have been fixed the first time around. I ended up paying the additional charges simply because they made me feel too uncomfortable and I wanted to get out.

I do not like going to car mechanics because I'm always afraid they are trying to up-charge me for a service or part, but at Dagwood's they tried to save me money and told me if something needed to be fixed now or if it could wait. Another mechanic told me my tie rods needed to be replaced and Dagwood's said they looked almost perfect. They also do free safety inspections and diagnosis. They took the time to refer me to a dealer to get my car fixed under warranty. Just an awesome experience after so many bad ones. I would highly recommend them!
