Honest and fair The bad rev...

Honest and fair The bad reviews here are unfair and probably outright lies. There's no way this shop would treat customers poorly or rudely. Import Clinic owners are Christians and conduct business in a friendly and honest manner. I've been a customer for nearly 20 years. Import Clinic has a long standing record of serving customers and keeping their vehicles running at their best. Are they perfect? No. But, they have always made the situation right the few times that there was a mistake. (Many times "their" mistake was really no fault of their own... sometimes a new part is bad, etc. But Import Clinic corrects it for free and makes it right.) I'd like to point out that anyone may post here... anonymously, including disgruntled ex-employees (who were fired for stealing, etc..) and even the competitor shops maliciously post false reviews here and at other sites. "Good, bad, or indifferent—it's your story" ... or, your lies. Moreover, ex-parts suppliers (that were fired due to their consistent uncorrected mistakes and incompetence) can come here and post bad things about Import Clinic. The take away... Don't take what you read at face value. There are many bad people out there. Judge for yourself, firsthand. Try Import Clinic! You won't be sorry. Everyone wants an auto repair go to guy that is fair and honest... that can be trusted. This is the place! They've never done me wrong!

Not overly thrilled!

I took my Chevy Tahoe to "Bill" who kept the vehicle 5 days before even telling me what was wrong. Then it took another 3 days and a $1000 later I find that my wing nut holding down my air breather is gone and there is some kind of adhesive on my fuel injector housing, come to find out they broke the retaining bolt to the fuel intake line and glued it back together. Now $400 more to replace the fuel injector housing on my own, I've done all the work that would normally had to be done (Upper and Lower Intake manifold gaskets) in a day and for $55. Now add $400 on top of that. You be the judge and inspect your car before you leave because they will screw you!!

Best Shop In Rutherford County

I arrived at work to find my car's radiator had busted. I had some big ticket plans that evening that I could not cancel, plus a hot date! I called around to other local shops to get some estimates. The more I called the grimmer the outlook for my evening became. Then I came across Bill's Import Clinic. A pleasant woman answered the phone. I explained my dilemma. Not only did she quote me a price that was over 1/2 of the other shops, she explained to me that she would try her best to get my car running by that evening. After I accepted the term, I proceeded to give her my information, by the time I got off the call; a tow truck had arrived and took my car away. YES, by the time I went outside my car was already loaded and on its way to the shop! As my work day came to an end I arranged to have a friend drop me off to pick up my car. To my surprise my car was sitting in the same parking spot I left it that morning. Not only was it fully repaired, the price was mind-blowing and the entire experience leaves me reassured that even though I drive and older car, these guys will treat me with respect and treat my car like it was brand new. It didn't even have any grease marks on it; I couldn't tell it had even been worked. I had to raise the hood and physical touch the radiator. You have my business. Job Well Done Bill, Job Well Done.

Yet another crooked auto shop.

Long story short, these guys are not to be trusted. I take my car there and they quote me the typical mechanic's outrageous price to fix things that I question were even broken in the 1st place. Then, after I have them "fix" the problem,…

Could not be happier!

I brought my 02 Honda here for a second opinion. The first shop I took it to didn?t even pop the hood to look for the problem. They just assumed they knew because I brought a code printout from AutoZone, which listed 4 possibilities, and…

My Subaru broke down yesterday evening and I brought it in. He got started immediately to identity the problem and it was ready the next day. In the past for me it's been a struggle to find someone that is knowledgeable enough about Subaru's to even get simple things done in a timely manner. This place really knows their stuff and I was blown away at the speed and quality of their work. If you care about your car as much as I care about mine, this place is a no brainier.

As a first time customer, it was a great experience. Howard was up front and honest about my car and that is something I value in business. Ms. Debbie(I think) was very sweet and enjoyed talking with her as they looked at my car. I will be going back!

Called to get a price quote to have work done to my car, after refusing to give a price quote without knowing what work was needed. They informed me that they don't put in parts ordered by someone else. (Needed my new alternator put in after a different mechanic backed out)

I have been going to Bill's Import Clinic for many years. Ms. Donna, Dylan and Howard always treat me fairly and get things fixed in a timely manner. When something breaks I take it there and they get me fixed up. Labor rates are very fair as well.

Foreign cars only. I've been going to Bill for 4 years, this place is magical. I drive 40 miles, each way, to take my car here. When I moved this far away, I started taking it to another place. After being ripped off so many times by another place in Nashville, I don't even want to think about it, I went back to Bill. I am always quoted less at Bill's. I officially dropped the mechanic near me when they quoted me $1,500 for a repair (after 1 week of keeping my car), and Bill quoted me around $400. I'm telling you, if you have a foreign car, it is worth the trip to Murfreesboro. The ladies that work the front office are family, and they are so helpful over the phone and in person. These people are honest, reliable, and normal human beings (unlike that other place!). I've taken a Sentra, a Corolla, and my Subaru Forester here. You can trust your Subaru with them.

WARNING!!!! We went to Bill's for YEARS and have always been good customers. They brag about always being honest and good to people. We started having problems with our vehicle after having our timing belt changed by Bills. We took it back to Bills to be checked and we were told by Bills that our car had additional issues and it would be a costly additional repair. We were moving out of state and chose not to do that bcs of the timing of our move. Once we settled in our new home, we had it checked and repaired by another mechanic because we are now too far from Bills to have it done there. TURNS OUT BILLS DID THE TIMING BELT WRONG!! I am stunned! The certified mechanic in our new state fixed the problem for $450! No more car problems! So I contacted Bills and asked for the $450. they asked for proof of the mechanic's legitimacy, I sent it. They asked for info on the repair, I sent it. Then I get a letter that says they won't refund the amount I had to spend to fix what they did incorrectly because "You chose not to have the repairs done at Bills". Unbelievable! Had I stayed in TN and gone back to them, they would have "fixed" the new problem and never found that the timing belt was installed incorrectly!
Additionally, they had told us that the compliance bushings had gone bad and that we would have to have them replaced for over $700. We decided to wait until after our move for this as well. When we went to the mechanic here, it turned out to simply be the rotors. They spun them for $40 and the problem is fixed. BIG difference between a $40 repair and one over $700!!!!!
