Not only were they the best price around, their waiting area is nice and clean and didn't have that usually stinky smell which is typical with mechanic shops. It made my wait much more pleasant as they changed my front and back brakes. Also, The mechanic showed me what the brakes looked like before deciding which service would be needed. They also take appointments, which helps a lot. We will be using them for all of our maintenance and repair needs

I had the worst experience of my life with this garage. However, if you want to find Jesus, ask for one of their business cards. You can get blessed and screwed at the same time. My car is getting old and I feel like I have been living here lately. But Poirier's is the first service center I have trusted, and I know what they say needs to be done, really does need to be done. They are upfront and honest with you, and are always trying to help. Even in emergency situations I know I can come here and I am in good hands. The only downside is Poirier's isn't open on the weekends (and that's usually when my car decides to play dead) but with such great service I really don't mind waiting the couple days.. definitely worth it. Really glad I found this place.. I don't trust anyone else with my car!

These guys do a fantastic job. I've never had a bad experience. I really appreciate two things besides the great work. One is that they never give recommendations to fix or change things I don't need. The other is that Ken (the owner) calls us a few days later to check in and make sure we were satisfied with the work.

VERY RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY, and TALENTED: I have been going to Poirier's Service Center for 20 years now. They are very reasonably priced, they treat you with the utmost respect, you know they are going to take good care of your car. I trust them completely. In general, women feel like they are being "taken" when they go to mechanics because in general, we don't know a thing about cars. I can tell you from my first time using them up until now, I have never gotten that feeling. In fact, the first time I used them I told them my car probably needed a tune up. They called me and told me that I did not need one because my spark plugs were good for 100,000 miles... anyone else would have done nothing and charged me for the tune up. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are looking for a mechanic, they are the ones to go to.

These guys were amazing they replaced three times that were in horrific condition. I had no idea that the had gone as bad as they were and I was notified that Firestone could not have made the tire changes that they had said due to the condition they had been in, I am currently awaiting reimbursement due to Daves advice. While waiting my car to be fixed Dave took me and my wife home out of the kindness of his heart not that he had too, we didn't ask and would have been fine waiting but he went out of his way, even though he did not have to. This place is amazing, and fair, they don't try to sell you needless items and understand that people are on a budget, so they tell you what needs to be fixed now and what can get fixed later (if you're on a budget). I didn't have much contact with Mr. Poirier but even though he and I didn't meet, I will say that Mark and Dave were outstanding guys. Mark is the short guy, Dave is taller they both alternate between the front desk. I will be coming back for future but as it stand my car is in great working condition and it also explains why my traction was bad one rainy day. Thank you guys.

I called around to try to get in for a wheel alignment last minute and no one had time for me until I called Poirier's Service Center. They said they were busy but could squeeze me in. I arrived and told them I needed a wheel alignment because my car was shaking when I was driving. They educated me that it may not be a wheel alignment that I needed but something else. They would take a look at it first (for free) and tell me whats wrong with the car before they did anything. Well low and behold, my tire was about to explode. He brought me back to show me the tire and saw a huge gash in the front tire. At first I thought "oh great, I don't have time to shop around for new tires and bring my car back some other time, i need it fixed NOW". The owner said he knew a guy not too far from there and priced out some tired for me. He then jumped in his truck, got me my tires and put them on all within the hour!.
They pride themselves on "doing the right thing" They could have taken my car back to do the wheel alignment just like I asked and be done with me and move on to the next customer but they didn't. They took the time to educate me instead of just telling me I need this fixed.
I will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. (They also have incentives on referrals)

I recently moved away from South Florida, but still call Ken for automotive advice and wish I could find someone in my area as trustworthy and capable.

I've been bringing my Honda Fit here for the past 4 years after reading all the great reviews and I am glad I did. Ken and Dave are friendly and run the cleanest and fairest shop I've been to, and have prevented me from paying for unnecessary maintenance that other shops have tried to up-sale me on. They will always call you before doing an additional work and tell you honestly what the recommended course of action is. What more is there to say, they are the best and I recommend them to anyone who knows how hard it is to find an honest mechanic these days.

I know lot's of people have poor experiences at auto repair places, but you won't here. Ken and Dave have always made it a great experience even when they have bad news about my older truck. I've never felt pressured and even get a follow up call to make sure I'm happy a few days later.

I can't tell you enough great things about this place! After moving to the area and having a terrible experience at another mechanic the search was on. After seeing the off the chart reviews for this place I was a bit skeptical at first but I kept an open mind. I had to try this place after it was told to me that thus place was the real McCoy....I had an appointment for my car because I was having issues and set it up for Friday morning. My car decided to break down on Tuesday and I called up the shop for some help. I spoke to Ken the owner and he was so helpful in getting me a tow to the shop. I checked in with Lisa at the front desk who was great and very helpful with my situation. I was told that they could probably look at my car the next day as it was very busy. No issues! I was amazed at getting a call from Dave regarding my issues with the car. He was extremely helpful into what was wrong. I told him no rush and because they squeezed me in I can have the car sit till Friday. I get a call the end of business day on Wednesday from Dave and said my car was done! I was in shock I think I fell off my chair! I told him I'd they didn't mind I live 20 miles away if they could store it over night and I would pick it up in the morning. Again no issues! I picked up my car and dealt with Lisa again for payment which is a delight. Then Dave who I met for the 1st time who worked on my car took 30 minute's of his time to show Mr and explain everything. He even showed me the bad parts he took out of my car. What an amazing experience I had at that shop! I then get a call a few days later from the owner Ken who just wanted to follow up and see how my car was doing??? Talk about 1st class service! My car is running perfect and they have about customer for life! If you need an unbelievable honest mechanic this is the place to go hands down!

very reliable mechanics. they diagnosed my air conditioning problem and solved it under budget and in record time. the shop is clean and the mechanics are trustworthy. I hope I don't have to go back anytime soon but if I have any problems with my car or if anyone I know has problems and asks if I know of a good mechanic I will definitely suggest they go to Poirier's Service Center

I feel like I've betrayed Hardees Tire in Hollywood, but I had to get the get a new tire one day, and these guys are in close proximity. The Google reviews were great, so I made the appointment. I'm glad I did.
Ken the owner is a friendly, honest man and his shop is organized and immaculate. The service mechanics don clean uniforms, and are helpful and very hard at work.
They replaced my tire and the charge was very reasonable.

These guys run a top notch auto care center--and it's clearly also about "people care". Their waiting area provides a clean, cozy area to relax. The interaction with their team (unlike most other auto shops) is very straightforward and you feel respected throughout the dialogue. I've spent about $5k since March on different vehicles for service and wish I could replay all of those engagements but this time at Poirier's.

This was actually the best mechanic experience I have ever had. I guess that is partially because they didn't charge me anything. I had a loose tensioner on my power steering and they just fixed, free of charge and said have a great day. So awesome. also really friendly on the phone etc. I went there bc friends recommended them. Ken was the guy I talked with. Great work guys, ill be back! But hopefully not too soon. :)

This is the only place I go for service on my car. Ken Poirier is the owner and an honest Mechanic. If he, or any of his employees say you need something done, you need it!! He will not fix stuff that does not need fixing, unlike the chain service centers out there. The ONLY downside, is he is not open on the weekends, but for an honest Mechanic who won't rip me off, I'm willing to work with his schedule!
