I found Akin Bimmer on the Internet when I did a search for BMW Repair Brentwood. WOW, did I get lucky. Allen is knowledgeable and personable which makes a great combination when you own a business. I will always go to Akin Bimmer in Brentwood, as I trust them to repair what I need and not give me a hassle or a large bill. I took my BMW 740i to them and they straightened out a bad repair from another shop. Ever since then, I always take the BMW to them. My wife and I are getting a second BMW soon for our son. Scam artist charged me high prices for things i didn't need and still could not figure out what was wrong with the car. Told me they fixed things but then i notice those things did not get fixed. They are liars and do what whatever they can to get money they took well over $1000 from me. I had ti take my car to a young independent mechanic that fixed my car and knew what he was doing and was more honest than these people. Do not take your car here Al is a scam artist and fraudster!! All of his reviews on yelp or any other website are fake ! This is a real review .

I have been to Akin twice on the recommendation of several co-workers and I haven't been disappointed yet. I found the folks there to be honest about what you need (and more importantly, what you don't need) and the service was very friendly. The prices were much more affordable than the dealership - so this is my go-to place for any and all maintenance for my BMW. Highly recommend them to anyone in the Nashville/Brentwood/Franklin area!

They actually know foreign cars, and aren't just out to bill you for anything they can. Not up front about diagnostic pricing. It will cost you $100 to put your foot in the door. I have $100 less than I did and 20 minutes later found out nothing about why my radio isn't working. It would be a good business practice to say, "We can run a diagnostic. It will cost $100. We may or may not find out what is wrong."

Sister in law has a BMW Wagon towed in that needed a new alternator. This shop called her and indicated the fan disintegrated after charging the battery and made a hole in the radiator.. what?? $1200 and four days later the car was ready however she arrived to find one of the headlights hanging out. Clearly not ready.. Service at this shop is suspicious at best.

Do not take your car to this mechanic. It was a complete nightmare! We took the car in because it had a transmission fault. They told us we needed to replace the alternator. BMW charges 1.8 hours to replace an alternator at $110.00 and hour. Aiken Bimmer works charged over $1086 and we provided the part. That is 5 times what BMW charges. They charged a mark up because we provided our own part. After picking up the car the transmission error was still on, so we took the car back to BMW who reset the computer system and the car has worked fine since then.
