Need collision repair? TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! After having the rear end of my brand new Toyota Corolla XRS demolished in September of 2011, I called Magic Toyota and asked where to take it to get it fixed using real Toyota parts and good workmanship--they said GO TO ARA. Best advice I ever got! Body shop is computerized, using laser technology to map the damaged areas of your car and test the frame and chassis for permanent damage. I was totally impressed by the speed, quality of workmanship and excellent service. My car is literally as good as new! If you need body work or collision repair, bring your car to these guys!

I read all the review and that's how i decided to go with ARA Collision in seattle but all the reviews i read, i disagree. i went there to have my rear bumper customize and ask how much it cost me, well the manager name RON is went outside and take a look at my SUV and by looking at him he's not sure what he's gonna do we went inside of his office and he let me fill out a form about my info and he told me that he will contact me, but then after more than a week i didn't hear from him so i contacted him and he's giving me some reason that he contacted some other but he didn't get any reply from them. But i can tell on his voice and in the beginning that he can't do it ...BIG LIER. and then he told me that it cost me couple grant to fix it. which is absolutely ridiculous and out of price range...I never write a review but this made me write one.. All i can say he's not honest and big lier.

The type of salesmen that like to "put you in your place" with fast facts and fluff talk and then try to up sell you on the repair. Basically they wanted $300.00 per piece painted. If you have insurance paying for it I am sure their work is fine but shop around first.

I was unfortunately involved in an accident and my vehicle was totaled. I was referred to Ron and his staff by a good friend of mine and after going even further to review his business, I in all honesty couldn't help but feel more than comfortable sending my truck to him. The process took about 4 days, but after insurance and adjustors went to look at my truck it was a total loss. So, I unfortunately was unable to get any work done, but Ron and his staff there were extremely nice, informative and a pleasure to work with. After finding out it was totaled my insurance allowed me to pull some parts, so of course I grabbed some tools and a my own personal jack to pull wheels, exhaust and whatever else. To my surprise Rob pulled my totaled truck into the shop himself, allowed me to use his garage (which was surprisingly cleaner and more well kept than any shop you can find in Seattle), his tools, his floor jack and even stayed late to make sure I got everything I needed. The whole process of dealing with a totaled vehicle defintely sucks, but I can honestly say that working with Ron and his business was defintely a huge sigh of relief and helped to make a stressful situation into an easier one. He without a doubt goes out of his way to make sure that the customer is happy and well taken care of. Again thank you Ron! Hopefully I never see you again, but I'm sure you know what I mean by that and if I do I know without a doubt I'll be returning again!

Long story short, my good buddy got his truck rear ended by an uninsured, unlicensed motorist. After searching for a shop to give the initial inspection and estimate, he settled with this shop. They made their inspection and after accumulating over $20,000 in damages, his insurance totaled the vehicle. Losing his truck was devastating, however, the employee's at ARA were more than willing to accommodate my friend. Ron, the owner, gave us permission to use his Jack's and tools to remove some of the aftermarket upgrades that my friend had done to the truck. It was a huge blessing! We were able to get what he wanted off the truck and Ron was willing to help all along the way. His compassion and desire to help his customers really showed in how he handled my friends situation. If one of my vehicles ever need repairs, I'll be coming here!

My car was hit by some road debris and I brought it to ARA. Ron, the owner, walked me through everything that needed to be fixed to get my vehicle safely on the road again. I have a newborn so I was especially grateful for his thoroughness. Not only did they do an amazing job on my car and got it back to me quickly looking brand new, but they also went above and beyond in several ways. They gave me a loaner vehicle at no extra charge and even helped by installing my baby seat for me. When I picked it up they also washed and detailed it for me and left a note thanking me from all of them. Sheri, the office manager, was extremely sweet and helpful. I had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing any repairs on their vehicle. I drove all the way from Redmond to their location and I would definitely do it again. Finding people you can trust with your car is not easy, and they made this a very stress free experience. I even forgot my garage door opener in the vehicle they loaned me and instead of having to drive all the way there for it, they mailed it to me! Truly one of a kind customer service.

I have always loved these guys and been coming to them for years and always have been happy.
That being said....I took my car in and they fixed it and were in quite a hurry to get me out the door (in the past they had no problem with me calling in a credit card) I was prompted to pay immediately which is normal in most cases , however, all I had was my debit card and I needed the funds in there to pay my mortgage.
I paid with that card and figured I would get a cash advance and figure it out.
Now , the reason RON hurried me out was because later I noticed they had taken a wheel off my car.
I have no idea what someone would want with one wheel...the colors didn't match and I was actually willing to accept that but this was unacceptable , especially because I was in tears and the nice one (Todd) was trying to calm me down and the owner got on the phone and was very mean.
Instead of trying to help me or saying he would find the wheel he said and I quote "Maybe aliens took it"!!!
I sent numerous people to them over the years and this was so very disappointing, and not a good time for it to happen.
I will not be returning, and I have told many many many people of this and it just happened today.

I had to get body work done to my car and needed it fast. I called around and no one seemed terribly excited to serve me. I called ARA and they jumped on the opportunity to get me in right away, They provided me with a loaner car and were super easy to work with. They exceeded expectations by buffing out a scratch that was unrelated to the accident and returning my car sparkling clean inside and out. I can't say enough about this place and highly recommend it. They are 100% about the customer.

I have had to use ARA twice this year, and while I wish I would not have to visit them, they make the process of car repair painless and professional. I mean, c'mon, nobody likes to take their car to the body shop right? Well, these guys are standouts in their field.
The first time I went in for a complete fix of the front end of my Toyota after an accident. Todd, the manager, was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He always called me to let me know the progress of my car, even when I was out of town. When I got my car back, it looked fantastic. I could hardly tell it had been in an accident a week before.
Unfortunately, I had to call Todd again a month ago when some jerk decided to break into my car. Not only did he smash the window but he tried to rip open the door with something large and metal, thus ripping apart the door frame. Again, ARA pulled off an impeccable job in a very short timeframe. I highly recommend ARA Collision - you can't go wrong with their level of service and attention to detail.

Harris Ford takes their auto's there so figured since I was leasing one from them that is where I should take my car. I am so glad I did, they were up front and honest about some delays that happened (not their fault) and always spoke with me when I called. ARA has repaired several damaged cars for me and in all cases the workmanship was top notch. They fixed a complicated panel on my Dodge Dually that we thought would require replacement for what I considered to be an extremely good price. Finish match was perfect and the vehicle was completed ahead of schedule. Clean-up was excellent.

The tow truck driver asked me where he should take my car after I was involved in a pretty epic car accident. Still completely in shock, I told him that I lived in Shoreline and somewhere in North Seattle would probably be best. He brought me here.
The experience itself was not fun, but ARA made it easier. I called my insurance company from their waiting area and ARA took care of the rest. When I asked if I could sit in the lobby for a while longer because my ride home was at least an hour away, they drove me home. Todd kept in touch with me over the next week while the estimate was being hammered out. After the repairs were finished he contacted me via e-mail and phone that I could pick up my car. Since I was out of the country at the time he said he'd keep it for an extra week until I could come pick it up. No problem.
On the day I picked it up I was totally amazed. They had un-done about $10,000 in front-end damage. About two miles after I picked it up I noticed a small knob on the dash was missing. I immediately went back to the shop and they fixed it right there on-the-spot. The repairs were guaranteed said Todd, so if anything looked/acted funny I should just come right back. Since then my car has worked great-as-before and I'm so glad the tow truck driver recommended ARA. Hopefully I won't be back though! :)

The back story (you skim-readers can skim over this part)
A black Honda Prelude decided to aggressively kiss the front fender of our truck while I was making a legal left turn on a yellow light. The light had turned red by the time the other driver ran it, saw me and attempted to stop. No physical injuries but our truck was smiling like Elvis because there was damage to the front bumper and fender assembly. You should see the other car. I got a check from my insurance company since the other driver denied being at fault. I called Ford's Body Shop. Turns out Bill Pierre Ford hasn't had a body shop for months now and they have been sending all there body work to ARA Collision. I call ARA and I find out they are one of my Insurance company's preferred body shops. The following is why I think they totally rock.
1. The staff there are totally friendly and knowledgeable.
2. They have their own rental cars (currently 3 of them) and are cheaper than Enterprise Auto Rental. $27.00 a day and they don't have all those additional taxes added onto the rental fee. I rented a really nice 2008 Honda Element (they have two of them) for the 5 days our truck was being repaired and my final rental bill was around $148 and some change. You can't beat that.
3. They do first rate work. Our truck, looked like it had never been hit. They even removed the dead Vole that apparently bunked in a space in the old fender last winter and had died there (poor fella!).
4. When I picked up our beloved truck, they had actually washed, vacuumed and detailed it. It looked fabulous. I was giddy!
Bottom line: If you have a fender bender or even major body work needs, you owe it to yourself and your beloved vehicle, to check out ARA collision. Based on my strict criteria for workmanship and customer service, they are as good as it gets.

My insurance agent suggested this place but so did the guy at work who loves cars so I figured how could I go wrong. The great thing about this place is that it is an Allstate insurance endorsed shop so their estimate is also the insurance company's inspection and the work is guaranteed for as long as you own the car. They use only OEM parts unless you specify they can use replicas. Some jack wad backed into the front of my parked car with his trailer hitch and took out my hood, grill and bumper. It looks good as new now. The only problem I had was that it took longer than expected because the wrong part was delivered. A week is too long to be without a car.

took my ford f-150 here.just got it back today,SO dissapointed! they had my truck for three days and didnt do what they said they were going to do.they replaced what needed to be replaced but i also had chips and a couple small scratches on the paint that when they gave me an estimate said they could remove 99.9 percent.a lot of the chips i had covered with the factory paint pen and they said all they had to do was wet sand it down,slap on some clear and sealant and done! i said great! we go around my whole truck and circle all the chips that i want removed. the next day they told me that the job was just about done and it would be done that afternoon,never once mentioning that the chips and scratches were not going to be
i go to work and pick up my truck the next morning in anticipation.all the chips hace been sanded down leaving very noticeable white specs everywhere.they just left it like that! they said that too much paint was coming off so they couldnt do it! havent you done this before?shouldnt you know by looking if something like that was fixable or not.why start something and not finish it?just left it leaving white specs all over my black
!You had my truck 3 days and all you did was paint the bumper and replace a fender flare.now i have to go out and fill all the chips myself,thanks guys

I was not impressed - my insurance company suggested them. They took a month to fix my car and the paint is a different shade from the rest of my car. When i pointed this out they gave me some run around and told me it was because I dont take wax my car enough.
If it was a simple wax problem - why didnt they wax? They told me some guy would come out and wax it for $75...seems like that should have been part of their service for that price...the fact is, in the end, the paint is not the same color and they didnt want to redo it.
