Be very sure to get other opinions before you hand these guys a penny. They tried to scam me out of $400 - $760 for a "complicated" allignment. I got it done at a nearby shop for $50.00 with no problems. Beware

Told me nothing was wrong with my car, now a few months later my engine overheated and nearly left us stranded on the road, even though we had suspected it was a cooling problem at the time. Not to mention the best part, they lifted it on their lift to high and smashed my rear moonroof and left a large dent across the roof of my suv and didn't bother to tell me about it, noticed it about an hour after leaving while getting something out of the back of my car, while they did pay for the repairs in the end, they tried to deny it at first.

The manager Jeff is a great guy, he's extremely knowledgeable about his profession and knows what he is doing. The crazy thing is when someone is this smart they are usually awkward and stay away from the front desk, not this guy though. Hes friendly as can be and is hilarious! never did I have a good time getting my car repaired, which is usually akin to going to the dentist. Brian isn't half bad either for a young guy. If you want a quick cheap easy and possibly entertaining alternative to automotive repair look no further.

We walked in stating we were from out-of-state and needed to get on the road to a family reunion as quickly as possible. The manager made our emergency his emergency, identified that our problem was a relatively quick and easy fix, and got us out of there as quickly as possible. While I will probably never go to this place again as I will probably never have a car break down in this area again, if you live here, consider making this your local garage.

I was stepping out this afternoon and when I got into my car and turned it on, I got a warning that my two front tires were very low (at 26 psi). So, I called my car assistance (through my insurance, that I pay for) and, they couldn't find any towing place that helps with filling my tires with air but, they would tow me to a shop or send someone to show me where to find my car battery. I just learned that to get to the battery on my 2011 Chrysler 200 you have to remove the drivers side front tire, then the wheel well cover. Uggghhh!! Anyways...
I decided to call a few muffler shops to see if they might be able to help. The first place I called could help me but they were very busy and it would be a while. Next, I called Car X and they said they could help right away and there would be no charge (unless they had to remove the tires, etc., which I understand). So, I drove the car to Car X (just a few minutes from my house) and they took it in right away, they filled all the tires with air and I was on my merry way.

Let me start by saying, previous Management no so good from about 2 years back. New Management is very good, and I have been pleased. I decided to give them another try after a coworker started taking his car back to them after they hung the new Management sign up. He used them 2-3 times no issue and was pleased so I figured they were close to work I would give it a try. Had them do an Oil Change first, they were quick and clean. Then a few months later my truck had a exhaust issue Justin listed to my problem called me timely with a diagnosis and a fair price, I gave the ok and they took care of it 1-2-3. Great guys hope they keep up the good work will take my truck back to them for service! Thanks

I would like to recount the excellent experience I had dealing with Justin Edwards, Manager of Car-X Tire and Auto in Dundee. I had estimates from two other entities for repairs, and Justin not only completed the repairs promptly and courteously, but for well below the other estimates. The shop has a pleasant atmosphere, and he and Miguel were taking care that the floors were clean and dry on this very rainy day. The work was done as agreed for the price agreed, and I am returning in two days, at Justin's suggestion, to make certain that my car can pass its emissions test. I am very happy with the service I received, and I am taking all of my business to Justin, who has a complete understanding of what is necessary to make this customer happy.

Used my Groupon coupon here this morning. 25 bucks for an oil change, tire rotation, wiper blades and 20+ point inspection. Not bad at all. Good service and very informative service manager. Car was completed in a time that was requested. Also found out that they are an emissions testing center! Bonus.

My girlfriend came home one night and couldn't remove the key from her car ignition. I have brought my two vehicles here many times and have always been treated well. We brought the car in and they said it was the ignition lock( or something ) which was a common breakdown on her cobalt. They were getting me a quote and came back only to tell us that it was a factory recall on the car and we could take it to any GM dealer and have it replaced for free. They could have done the work and charged us and we never would have known. I'm a total fan of this place and believe I'm not getting the run around when I bring my vehicle in. Thanks guys!!

My car broke while working just down the street at a haunted house and after having taken a look at it, one of my friends said it was a pulley on the water pump and not to drive it home. The next day I called these guys on a lark because they were the closest. They gave me a quote to replace the water pump. After I got my car there and they took a look at it, they told me it wasn't the pump but just the attachment which was literally half of the quote they gave me in the first place. Could've replaced the pump and never said anything, but they did the honest thing. They fixed my car super fast. The guys in there were super friendly and knowledgeable. I would go there again in a heartbeat.
