Amazing body work and paint work! My WRX got in a little accident and the guys over at Raymond got to work in no time. Damien kept in good contact with me and gave me as many updates as he could. Customer service is definitely #1 and the work is even better. Color matched perfectly which can be a little tricky with Subaru paint. Would definitely recommend for my car enthusiasts since they do very good work with excellent attention to detail.

I must say that it's not often that you expect and receive such premium service from an auto body shop. But that is exactly what I received from the first phone contact to the actual work being done - premium, typically high quality services. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly, accommodating and super helpful - ultimate professionals. Especially Jason, he really took great, personal care in seeing that my repairs were completed quickly, and of the highest quality. As I'm a fairly new resident to Minnesota, I didn't have a trusted auto body repair contact - but now I do. The Raymond Auto Body team offers superb services, all the time, every time.

Great customer service, and a wonderful job done. The only place I will bring a car to be fixed. They have multiple awards and manufacturer certifications showing they are great at what they do.

My second time bringing my car to them unfortunately. Jason and his team are by far the best all around when it comes to auto body repair. Their excellence shows not only in the work that's done on your car but also throughout the entire experience. They make it feel like the accident never even happened and that's why I will always bring my business to them.

After I clipped my fourth deer, this time in my spiffy Audi, I called the dealer find who they use for collision damage: Raymond Auto Body. Walking in to drop it off, it appeared from the plaques on the walls that all the German makes call Raymond home, including Benz and Porsche. Reassuring...
...then I picked up my car and found out why: my Phantom Black beauty looked absolutely stunning! The finish and polish were better than when I picked it up new (and it was gorgeous then too). The fit and quality of workmanship was without compare and their attention to detail is amazing. Hats off to the folks at Raymond (and thanks Joe!)! I don't hope to see them again any time soon, but it is great to know I have found the best.

A recent bid from Raymond was $273 higher (32%) than one from Schoonover in Shoreview. The dollar amount isn't the end of the world for a high-ticket item when insurance is covering the repair, but I'm paying for this out-of-pocket and the difference between $853 and $1126 is a lot. I looked over the bids, and most of the difference came from labor.
The guy, John, who did the bid was friendly, but the women I talked to on the phone and at the desk were not nearly as impressive.
I went back and forth about doing 2 or 3 stars, but I think the cost difference is enough for a 2. I'm sure the many positive reviews for Raymond are warranted, but I thought this might help those who have a "minor" repair like mine.

I just got my car back from a front bumper replacement. What is more impressive than the new bumpers is the exterior and interior detailing in the car. It was a great surprise to see my car very clean inside and outside.
The customer service is great. I have never seen anyone at Raymond without a smile when talking to a customer, and their friendliness is what sets them apart from the rest of shops in town.

Over the years I have brought four different cars to this place, and have always, ALWAYS, been satisfied with the service and quality of the work. From the start they make you feel comfortable, are an advocate for you with the insurance company(s) and keep you informed. I have referred a number of people here, and will continue to do so. And hopefully I'll never need auto body services again, but if I do, this is where I am going.

When I got my car back it had broken pieces underneath they tried to tell me it was like that already and it was not. But they fixed it thanks to Jerry no thanks at all to Damon. I had my bumper and Hood removed and painted. 1 week later I had paint chipping. I let Damon know about the problem and he copped an attitude with me and told me it's because of the kind of car I'm driving it sits too low to the ground he says. My opinion. If that was the case every Mercedes-Benz would have paint chips everywhere. 2 months later Damon still hadn't got back to me and said he would finally I spoke to Jerry he took care of the problem unfortunately I still got a crappy paint job I'm done with dealing with them I will go somewhere else to fix their screwed up Earl Scheib Paint Job. I do have to say everything else was excellent expecially detailing and Jerry's help butt paint sucks. Maybe it's because they turned up the heat and cook the paint for less time that's what Damon had them do to save time yea no kidding he'll probably deny it just like his hidden attitude problem with customers that have issues with work they had done. Thanks again Jerry you were great.

I drive a 2012 Nissan Maxima. Ran over a curb with all four wheels. Initially took my car to Abra Auto Body due to my insurance's recommendation. Long story short, Abra did a good job with fixing my car's body, did a poor job in mechanical inspections of damage to the wheels and totally ignored to fix them. I left a review of Abra, read it for more background on that.
Took my car to Raymond Auto Body. Met with Chad. Hands down best experience I've ever had with auto repairs. Chad was responsive, down to earth, and explained things clearly. He made you feel like your car was his car and he'd do everything to fix any problem it had. I took Chad for a test drive in my car so he could hear the grinding noises that I was hearing. He found the problem to be with my front wheel bearings. At first, Chad only replaced the front right (this was due to Abra listing a majority of my accident damage occurring to the right front & back wheel of my car). Grinding noises went down considerably, but it still existed to a lesser degree after. I brought it to back to Chad and he said most likely the front left was damaged also due to my accident involving the front two wheels taking the initial impact. Chad replaced the front left wheel bearing. Problem was fixed entirely.
I ran into a problem with my insurance company on replacing the front left wheel bearing on my second trip back to notify Chad of the additional grinding noise. My insurance claims adjuster stated that my car was 100% fixed after the initial front right wheel bearing replacement, then telling me that I had to potentially pay for the part and labor myself for the front left wheel bearing fix...which I was a bit irritated with since they referred me to Abra Auto Body which totally neglected any damage to both front wheel bearings, when anyone who drove my car could hear the noise clearly. Chad again, takes care of this by talking to the claims adjuster and getting them to pay for the part and labor for the both wheel bearings.
I highly recommend working with Chad and taking your car to Raymond Auto Body. I cannot be any happier with how this went. Glad to have taken my car here.

I brought my 2014 Audi A5 to Raymond to repair significant collision damage to the left front bumper, headlight, and fender.
Damon Slaikeu was in constant contact with me throughout the repair. He answered all of my questions clearly and with friendly professionalism. Damon did all the work with my insurance company; I didn't have to do anything but provide him with the claim number.
The repair is flawless, as if the collision never happened. After I initially picked up my car, I discovered minor issues with the Homelink system and the interior door trim. Damon followed up on these immediately. To address the trim issue, he even sent someone from Raymond to the Audi dealership where the Homelink system was being repaired, saving me a trip to the auto body shop.
I highly recommend Raymond without hesitation. The customer service and quality of their repair work are fantastic!

We have a 2007 Audi A4, that at times is a magnet for being hit by other cars unfortunately. The first time we were recommended to Raymond Auto Body it was via Maplewood Audi(whom with we are also delighted as we purchased it there). Each time thereafter, we've taken it back to Raymond due to the wonderful, knowledgeable staff and the impeccable service that they provide. They kept us abreast of what was going on and how long it would take, in addition to working directly with the other party's insurance company - even going so far as to providing us with a rental car. I'd highly endorse Raymond Auto Body to friends and family.

I agree with everyone's previous reviews. Top rate service in every facet of their business and follow up after the service is done. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in need of top rate, efficient and professional service.
They fixed our cracked bumper after some weasal, snake in the grass lawyer rear ended us. (Not all lawyers are bad, but this one was a piece of work). He knew every last trick in the book and tried to deter us from using Raymond Auto Body. Too bad for him, he had to pay for their top of the line repairs! Ha!
An extra star if I could goes to them for dealing with the jerk I referenced above.

WHOA!
What a great experience!
About a month ago my car was minorly swiped in a parking lot. It was mostly paint from the other vehicle on the rear door. There were some minor dents, and we couldn't even see if there were scratches due to the amount of the other vehicle's paint on my car.
My insurance company, Frank LaNasa (another great company) suggested I try Raymond Auto Body.
Steve took a look and gave me an estimate for the full repair -- pulling out the little dents and repainting the whole door. But he also suggested we try buffing the door -- it would not pull out the dents, but it might look ok. My car is over 10 years old, and I can't imagine keeping it much longer, so why not try the easy thing?
I dropped the car off this morning around 10.
I came by to get it about 2 -- I saw it in the lot before I even walked into the shop. They had buffed it out, and the dents were still there and the scratches were there too, as expected, but it didn't look too bad. I also noticed it was clean as a whistle -- they had washed it and even done that shiny stuff on the tires! I was a little nervous they had spent a lot of time on it and I was gonna pay dearly for it.
I went into the shop and Steve told me the work was on the house. Totally free.
I could barely believe it. He told me just to come back in if I ever really smashed it up.
When I got into my car -- YEP! They cleaned the inside too. I am awed!
So happy with these guys, no question where I will go if I ever do get in a real accident.

AGAIN, Raymond went so far above and beyond the norm that they couldn't even see the norm from where they were.
I had my car fixed here a while back after being rear-ended (you can read my glowing review below) and later figured out that the trunk was leaking a little (not actually their leak, which I will explain in a second). They have a lifetime warranty on their work, so I brought it back today to have them take a look.
I rarely used my trunk before I became the Yelp CM and found myself knee-deep in schwag all the live-long day. Anyway, because of that, I hadn't noticed this leak for quite some time... plus, in my infinite wisdom, I waited waaay too long to go in after I noticed it. I felt a little embarrassed admitting I had known about this leak for months (nay, years... ugh), but they didn't seem to judge and were able to check it out right away.
You are basically assigned to one person as your go-to contact, which I think is really nice. When I arrived today, the receptionist looked up my car and then let me know she'd find Jason, my go-to.
Start-to finish, I was there for maybe 30 minutes and Raymond fixed things that were not their problems in the first place and sent me on my way with no charge. The trunk leak was actually due to some corroded screws---and they replaced those and re-sealed it. Also, earlier this week, the undercarriage salt/sand-protective shield fell off of my car (I blame those dang Uptown speed bumps). They put that back on too. AND when Jason pulled the car 'round to hand it over to me, it was CLEAN. Say what?!
I know that both those repairs required very few parts aside from some screws, but some other shop would've probably tried to charge at least a couple bucks for the trouble. I really appreciated the nice gesture and the valuable time that they spent on my aging, but beloved automobile. And, I mean... washing the car?! Above. And. Beyond.

After DS's review (1/29/13) appeared, the service adviser called me to blame DS for her poor experience with dropping off the car (she was late, but called the shop with her new arrival time) and to whine about the "unfair" and "slanderous" review. I had no idea that guys in the automotive industry were so SENSITIVE.
Service adviser also told me that Raymond would NOT work on our car. An odd contrast to several other businesses we've worked with in the past few days who are delighted to have our business. Apparently at Raymond, the customer is supposed to fawn all over them, rather than the other way around.
Raymond returned our car by driving the wrong way down the one way street we live on (which rubs us and our neighbors the wrong way) and with yellow masking tape frozen to the door. The guy who delivered the car did not even introduce himself, so I don't know if it was the service adviser or somebody else who lacks common courtesy. Enough said.
Apparently Raymond has more customers than they want/need. Nothing else could explain their behavior.

Been taking my cars to Raymond's for over thirteen years now. These guys are everything you ever hope for in a body shop. They've worked on all of my cars, and I've referred friends there as well. No one I know has ever had anything less than a perfect experience.

I have had excellent service from Raymond in the past so expected all to go well. HMMMM not this time. After driving across town in the cold weather with my window stuck in the open position I had to wait for the service representative's meeting to end so they could check me in. Before I could review what was wrong with my car with a coordinator (it was an insurance claim from an accident), they drove it into the bowels of the shop so I got to walk back into the dusty, dirty, and EXTREMELY loud work area to try to explain what happened to my car.
Fast forward 24 hours I have no calls from Raymond Auto Body but I do have a call from State Farm. State Farm says that Raymond called them in to inspect the car because Raymond thought the body damage was prior and unrelated to the accident. So nothing will be fixed on the claim. And by the way, they still haven't looked into the window - guy at Raymond is not sure they'll be able to figure that one out..... DUH!!!

I have been here many times and can say without doubt that customer service and physical workmanship has been impeccable every time. They have incredibly friendly office staff and terrific managers who give you fair and accurate estimates.
The distinguishing characteristics that merit their 5 star rating are honesty, quality of work, fair pricing and accurate estimates of repair time. When they said the car would be ready, it was ready. And in perfect shape.
All-in-all, fast service, easy to deal with, fair, and excellent work. I highly recommend the service provided at Raymond Auto Body!!

We chose Raymond because of the great reviews online and they did a great job of meeting all of our expectations. The staff was friendly and they were able to get our car in right away. The job was done quickly and thoroughly for a great price. Also, they cleaned the car inside and out and made sure it was ready to go when we picked it up. I couldn't have been more impressed with the service we received at Raymond Auto Body and I highly recommend them for all of your auto body work.

This place is amazing! Everyone is so nice and helpful. I brought my car in with some scratches hoping to get them buffed out. The owner, Jerry, (I didn't know he was the owner at the time), was extremely honest and nice. He knew the job wouldn't take him longer than 20 minutes so he didn't charge me. I wasn't able to get a ride back to pick up my car, but he sent someone out to pick me up and come get my car. It looked great and they even washed it for me. I honestly cannot say enough great things about Ramond Auto Body Inc and will be reccomending them to everyone.
