I have been using the service at The Auto Shop for almost 14 years and have been very happy . They provide the best solutions with the a reasonable option to fix and repair vehicles. They are also my regular oil changing company for the 3 vehicles we have. If you are looking for a great service on your car repair I recommend them.

NEVER AGAIN!! They don't know how to diagnose issues correctly, instead they prefer to throw money at the vehicle and hope that it fixes it. They may get luck from time to time and save some one some money. Guess I wasn't one of the lucky ones. Three trips in and my car still runs like crap, and now has issues that were never a problem before their shop. They even jacked up my alignment. WHAT DOES AN ALIGNMENT HAVE TO DO WITH A RADIATOR??!!?? Don't waste your time or money!!!

My wife's Subaru had a loud muffler. 'Dave' said he could take care of me right away. Dave really seemed honest. Instead of selling me a whole new muffler, they repaired the hole in the pipe, and added an additional support strip to keep it from happening again. $124 out the door. He quoted $125. Big thumbs up!

Gene, Rich and the rest of the crew at The Auto Shop have saved us big-time on a number of occasions when our company trucks (and personal cars) haven't been working properly...including diagnosing some very strange issues that were hard to trace down.
They go out of the way to make any repair possible....and get it done quickly and at a fair price...very affordable. We trust Gene with any of our vehicles, including my German-made sedan...he's a true car expert with decades of experience. Further, even though the shop looks small from the street, they have quite a few service bays...it's amazingly large inside....so they've always been able to fit us in, even when they had quite a few other cars and trucks already in the shop.
We recommend The Auto Shop in Lakewood without reservation! This place is a well kept secret! But maybe not any more! ;-)

Never take your car here!
They may be slightly cheaper but that's only because they are not proficient at diagnosing issues to find out what is actually wrong. They just throw cheap, shotty work at a vehicle and hope that its fixed.
Had transmission issues, Paid quite a bit, it lasted 2 months, then paid quite a bit more, that lasted 5 miles (literally) and now it had a radiator issue as well. So then paid even more. My car still runs like crap and now they jacked up my alignment too, NOT EVEN SURE HOW THEY MANAGED THAT ONE!!!
NEVER AGAIN!!!
Pay a little more and go to a shop that actually knows how to fix a car and not just blame it on the car being to new!
