After reading other reviews I had hopes that this could be my "go to" place as I get repairs done immediately and do the oil change on a timely manner. I called, gave the make and year of the car, explained that I had already run the self diagnostics built into the system, (some of us do know a bit about cars), had experienced the problem before as it is an older vehicle, and wanted to know if they could replace the resistor I identified and what the cost would be. Not having other trouble with the vehicle, but will be needing a battery and brakes soon, based on age and miles. The immediate response was that it was $51 for diagnostic to make sure it was the resistor. Why would anyone pay for diagnostics when the vehicle's built in codes have told you what you need? Won't be able to speak to their expertise or promptness, but don't consider professionalism to be high when you wish to rip off customers by charging for diagnostics that are not needed.

Every time we go in to get an oil change the staff greets us and they are very friendly. If you go in with an appointment it takes very little time and I have been please with their service and prices every time! Highly recommend!

I wasn't really a fan of this place. I was told the reason why getting an oil change take so long here compared to anyone else was because they check your whole car brakes ect. When my car was done with the oil change I paid and no one spoke with me about the "inspection" they give. Our van broke down at 2 a.m. while passing thru TN on the way to see family...2 toddlers, a dog, and tons of luggage...the makings for an awful experience. Luckily we were towed to Honest 1. The owners and other staff treated us like family while we were stranded away from home. Their customer service is superior and I have no complaints with any repairs performed. They would easily become my trusted repair store of choice if we ever happen to settle down in the Clarksville area.

If anyone is looking for trustworthy and affordable auto services, I would highly recommend Honest-1 Auto Care on Wilma Rudolph! I went in for an oil change with a coupon that didn't match my vehicle and they gave me a different coupon instead! To top it off I got in my car to find a hand written thank you card with a bible verse on it! I will definitely be back and eexconend them to anyone needing auto service!

The Staff at Honest-1 are great! This is a company that cares about its customers and I recommend that anyone who needs a good place to service their cars should visit Honest-1 to check them out. I had them do alignment wok on my car, and it was done very quickly. I stayed talking to one of the owners, Kristi, longer than the time it took them to get my car driving great again.

They actually are HONEST! :) My "need brake pads" light came on so I took it in for new brakes. They called me and said that the brakes had half their life left and I didn't need brakes, so no charge. Plus they left me a little snack bag in my passenger seat with the paperwork, a pleasant surprise. :)

Had a great experience while getting an alignment. The shop was kind and courteous and was able to successfully align my car after other shops failed to do so. They also help me diagnose a defective tire. I will go back with any problem/ maintenance that I have. Also, they were very courteous and helpful with other customers while I was waiting. They had a part break while fixing another car and without hesitation paid for the fix and make sure to get that other driver into a car while the replacement part is on its way. There is no hassle or haggle they just made sure that it was not inconvenience to the customer.

Didn't charge me when they couldn't find anything wrong a couple weeks ago, so that was cool. Then this second time, they charged me for/replaced only the minimum I needed to fix the problem. The place is clean and professional looking and I like all the staff I've worked with there. I recommend these guys for sure.

Being from out of town and in need of auto repair, I began looking on the internet for a reputable, respectful, fair, creditable and upright auto mechanic in the Clarksville area that I could trust to do work on my car. That is what I found at Honest - 1 Auto Care. Wayne, one of the service advisors was very helpful in determining what my needs were in regard to the problems that I was encountering with my vehicle. It is an older car that we use as our tow vehicle, which they easily could have ripped me off if they had a desire to. They did a diagnostic scan and determined what I needed to solve the check engine light soon and did a visual inspection to reach a decision as to what was needed with my suspension. They stuck to their price estimates (which were fair). At no time did they try to pressure me into having a service done that I did not need. Tim, the general manager, was there if he was needed, however, he did not micromanage his service advisors and let them do their jobs professionally, as they were full of knowledge and willing to share. Ashley was another service advisor that brightened up the service area with her smile and courteous manner. Then last but not least was the star of the show - Gordon was the man that actually made it all happen. He was our mechanic. Very personable and was very anxious to show my wife and I the parts that were removed to show the condition that they were in. Very knowledgeable and we learned from him this day. We felt that we have known these folks forever. The friendly atmosphere, clean customer waiting area with complimentary snacks and beverages made it a nice experience. At the end of the visit, oreo cookies and a bible verse was left on the front seat along with a flashlight. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking the same experience that I had.

Very courteous and friendly staff, inviting and comfortable waiting area, complimentary refreshments, free wifi, kids' play area are the great highlights of this store.
Received a coupon in the mail, and I just happened to be needing an oil change, so I tried this place out encouraged by some very positive Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed. It's always a challenge to find a reliable auto service shop in the community you just moved in. I'm so glad that I found this place. I'll be coming back here for my future auto care needs.

My complaint for my brother's 06 330i, cooling fan blade came apart and put a hole through the radiator.
Tech Paul diagnosed my vehicle by doing a pressure and quoted me 2k for replacing the cooling fan and radiator to start with. When i asked about the busted upper radiator hose that goes into the oil filter housing gasket, he said thats another 60 bucks. LOL. Supposedly the front desk guy told me he was a 20 year experienced BMW tech, they make 50-60 dollars an hour. Dude did a pressure test and didn't notice my busted upper radiator hose, and replacing an electric cooling fan and radiator is no where near 2k. Labor must have been 180 dollars an hour. Honest auto my ass.
GTFO here. Towed the car to a different shop just because they lied and over charge. Not doing business with these guys.

Sooooo....I give this business 5 stars on communication and quick service. However, they absolutely trashed the inside of my car! I had an oil change and new brakes & rotors...it looks like they let a rabid raccoon loose inside my car! They must have been searching for my tire key but I wish they would've just asked me, because I knew exactly where it was. Even when I go to a cheap oil change, they vacuum my car and wipe down the interior....these people did the opposite! I'm leaving here on my way to a vacuum and garbage. Kinda disappointing when I walked out to get my car completely satisfied. I spent over $500 at your business....at least respect my belongings! I am not sure if I will return....I'm really torn :/

They really live up to their name here. Everyone I have talked to is extremely friendly, kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and of course, honest. First place in this town that I have gone to for my car and I won't be going anywhere else. So glad that I have found a great place that I can trust when I need them. I recommend them 100%.

Wow. As a military family, we move a lot and it's hard to find a mechanic you can trust. We had a complete AC repair and they quoted us about $400 cheaper than two other places. I also asked for a recommendation on where to get a new windshield and they had it done at Honest Auto for $200 cheaper than what I was quoted at another glass repair place. We were called when the AC issue was a little more in depth than they thought and given another quote. These folks were professional, inexpensive and Honest! Great name! Not to mention, they also have a shuttle service for after you drop your car off. Don't Change! Keep Marcus. He did a great job of keeping us posted and making us feel comfortable. I don't write a lot of reviews but I HAD to!

I was blown away by the excellent customer service we received...My daughter lives in Clarksville for school and I didn't want to risk her driving home to have work done on her car when it started making a sketchy noise. I used Yelp to find Honest-1 and am so glad we did. When I called near the end of business, they quickly made us an appt. for the next day. They got her right in at the appointed time, were an hour faster than they predicted, told her the price right up front and stuck to it. They brought her to the car to explain everything necessary to fix the scary noise and physically showed her what was wrong while giving different options for completing the work. She felt they respected her and didn't treat her like a "dump" girl. They offered her shuttle service and checked on her several times while she studied in their comfortable, clean waiting area. Upon checking out, they threw in two discounts that she wasn't even aware of to bring down the price, They were super friendly to her and also to me, when I called to secretly pay for her service over the phone. They even left a little pack of Oreos on her seat with a Bible verse. The icing on the cake came when the owner of the company called her personally a week later, checking to make sure all was going well with their repair and to personally guarantee her satisfaction. We will never use anywhere else and highly recommend them to anyone in the Clarksville area!!! Way to go!!!!!!

First and foremost, I want to thank the employees of Honest-1! They provide outstanding service that is thorough and consistent. My experience started when a friend mentioned Honest-1. My check engine light was on for more than two months and my front brakes needed to be changed badly. I called Honest-1 and explained my predicament to nice fellow who encouraged me to come so they could take a look the car. I went in and was greeted and promptly assisted by a nice lady. After my car was inspected and she explained to me what needed to be done, I made an appointment. Later that week I stopped by again to work on the car. Thankfully they offer a free shuttle service, which I took advantage of. However, their waiting area is clean and well stocked with beverages and snacks if you are willing to wait. After being shuttled back and forth, my car was ready and they sent me on marry way. Tragic struck when my engine light returned the next day, again, I went to Honest-1, and they took care of me. They fixed the problem for good! Overall, my whole experience was impeccable. Their hospitality, warmth, knowledge, and honesty is amazing. I definitely recommend this establishment to anyone need their car serviced! We need more businesses like this!
