Fantastic Service and price

My family was coming back from Gulf Shores and our transmission went out. We were towed to Ford Dealer in Mongomery. They quoted us $3300.00 to replace transmission. I contacted Allen Robbins through a tip from a local towing service. Allen told me he thought it didnt require replacement, said it was a common problem for Mercury Sables and he thought it would be around $650.00 to repair. Said at worst would be around 1300.00 . Much better than what dealer said. Towed car to his shop. They had it ready at 1130am next morning. Bill was for $780.95 which was 600 for torque converter , 129.95 for labor and 51.00 tax. Great service from an Honest Repair shop. Allen told us that whenever he sees a stranded motorist that he puts them at the front of the line considering they are losing alot of money if they cant get to where they are going. If we had followed Ford Dealers advice we would been out an additional 2500.00 dollars. I will always recommend this business. Keep up the great work. Jim Merrell Huntsville, Alabama

Was heading home from spring break in Panama City Beach Florida and blew the front main seal on my F-150 transmission. Still had 8.5 hrs to get home, stranded in Alabama. Was referred to Allen Robbins by some very nice men who even drove us to the shop. Got a ride to a local hotel, picked back up in the am on a Saturday & my truck was ready to go 2hrs later. Never have I encountered a friendlier atmosphere!! My family was well taken care of. Thank u Allen, Mr. Charlie & the man who fixed my truck. My kids & I never felt more at home!!

Terrible service. A backyard mechanic could out perform their r&r technicians. Brought my 94 jeep in for trans rebuild on a Monday they kept it 7 days only to return it to me with a leaking trans cooler leaking trans fluid pan gasket grille out of alignment molding under hood just laying there not even fastened down. As a person with an associates in automotive tech it is just pure incompetence that I have seen here with a simple 25 mile test drive this could have been avoided along with someone checking the work of their technician

We are a local used car dealership that uses Allen Robbins for all of our transmission work. They do a great job at a great price and stand behind all of their work. We send probably over 50 cars a year to them and they do a great job and treat us very well. I highly recommend them.

Tranny went out on I-65 near Prattville, Al, was referred to Allens by tow company, prepaid $1300.00 for overhaul which is decent price, but, they pulled a wire loose in wiring harness and had to have repaired down the street, they did pay $120.00 to me for repair, now I find sway bar bushings not installed correctly, causing oversteer and swerving going down the road, in my younger years I was ASE certified mechanic and hate to think about shops not doing the job correctly the first time, I will order a new sway bar bushing kit and install myself, luckily at 60 I can still do some things, but this could have caused an accident, also tranny is shuttering when shifting to 2nd gear. I hate to see a shop going thru this when they have been in business for so long, hope they get it together and start inspecting the work of their mechanics more closely. Maybe I was just the unlucky ONE, they are nice people, and stand behind their work and I'll stop by when passing thru. Just saying!!

Never ever take your vehicle here, a monkey could do better work, my transmission in a ford ranger was "rebuilt" by them a year ago. They left bolts out of the valve body, pins halfway out of the shift kit, also failed to replace my overdrive, also noticed the bolts holding the transmission pan on we're finger tight!!! This place is a JOKE
