I took my car to the dealership four times for them to figure out what was wrong with my car. I took it to Baker and within a couple of hours they had the diagnosis and fixed it by the afternoon. I definitely recommend taking your vehicle there! Excellent service!

My car was hesitating on acceleration at high speeds. I checked for engine problem codes using my car On-board computer but found none. With Baker Auto Repairs advertising that they were experts in engine problem diagnostics, I took my car to them, and I explained to them the problem. They took the car in and they said they ran their computer diagnostics on the car and did not find engine problem codes, which my own diagnostics told me before I got to them. All they did was attach their hand held computer to my car inside the passenger compartment, but did not inspect the engine compartment, I am so sure. When I got home I did check under the hood and I found a loose rubber hose, loose air filter canister, and a clogged PCV valve. I corrected these issues and the hesitation problem disappeared. I spoke to their manager about paying $88 for a job that was poorly done. It did not phase him. They fooled me once, but they will not fool me twice. VERY UNHAPPY POTENTIAL CUSTOMER. All who should read this review should beware of who you trust with your vehicle.

MY AIR CONDITIONING WENT OUT IN AUGUST!!! Baker's got my air conditioning fixed the next day and it's running like a champ!. I'd recommend Baker's to everyone - great service and fair prices!

Honest, forthright, attententive. They work hard to give you personable customer service. Their team does not move forward with repairs without first discussing the diagnostic findings with the customer. I've been using Baker's for over 10 yrs. I'm a satisfied customer.

My son was driving from Florida to Houston yesterday when he broke down on the interstate in Beaumont. I found Baker Auto Repair online and called and spoke to Chase. He assured me they could diagnose and fix a 2003 Subaru. I explained it was essential that my son be in Houston the next day for work. The found a very tricky problem with the wiring and some sensors. They had him back on the road in record time at a very fair price. If I lived in Beaumont I would take all my vehicles to them! Thank you to everyone at Baker Auto for outstanding service!

"TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY !!!!!" Mr. Juan Zamora stopped by our facility with a 2003 Ford van with (440,814) miles 1/13/2012. I spoke with him personally he informed me that the front brakes needed to be repaired or replaced ASAP as he was fearful of further damage or failure. I informed him of the time of day being late Friday and closed on Saturday. He pleaded with me to please repair it TODAY as he was headed out of town and needed it fixed. I informed him that I would pull a technician off the current job to help him out and he was thankful. I asked him at that time would he be responsible for the bill he said yes and that he would pay with a credit card so we proceeded. We removed the wheels & inspected the ft brakes & noticed heat cracks in the rotors, we then measured them and concluded that upon machining them they would fall below factory specifications. We then removed the ft hydraulic Calipers and determined that they had been the cause of the failure due to sticking. We then worked up the estimate and the price was given to Mr. Zamora. He wanted to talk with someone within their company so he made the call. We were then informed that he didnt want anything done and that whom he spoke with stated that Goodyear was involved in the repair before. I explained to him that there would be a charge for the disassembly at which time he became angry and told me there shouldnt be a charge. I explained to him that if he had requested a quote I could have involved a inspection person to inspect the brakes , but this customer request the brakes be fixed Friday afternoon to meet his deadlines. If in fact the brakes were just repaired at Goodyear and the suspected warranty why would they make a request for repairs at Bakers with Goodyear less that 5 miles away. Mr. Zamora never disclosed anything about previous repair until he spoke with his company. Mr Zamora was the acting agent on this vehicle and stated that the person with whom he was talking too was going to be mad at the situation with brakes & the cost before he ever made the call. It appeared to me that due to the cost and the time frame they were under they assumed the worst when in fact we did everything to help them to no avail and complained of any charge whatsoever. Mr Zamora also signed the repair order after his distrust. Furthermore if they had warranty at Goodyear their lack of communication became there enemy not me. Respectively

Bad attitudes, poor "service" and like to cheat females. They'll lie to you to get you in and play deaf blind and dumb when you ask about it in person. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else than this scumbag ran so called mechanic shop

My mom brought her car here to of course see what was going on with it, so they charged her $88 for the diagnosis, understandable. The car was left there all weekend long leaving my mom && myself without any transportation, ok again no biggie. Finally get the car back and it seems to be running just fine but then it starts doing the same thing it was before about a week later so I call to make sure the service is still under warranty && was told yes it was and to bring it back to them so they can see what's going on. I explained to the gentleman that we have a crazy work schedule (my mom, me, or any other family member that could bring it back) && asked if I could bring it by in a day or two cause my mom has to go to Houston for a Dr's appt && was told yes. Bring the car back && spoke to a different gentleman that said it would take over 3 hrs or more to even look at the car && that the electrical work that was done was not warranted!!! HOLD UP...I was just told the work was warranted now I'm being told it's not!! So I politely asked him if he just took $300 from my mom because she was a female && elders because I was given different stories!! Well needless to say my mom's car is still not working correctly && now I'm gonna have to come off more money to have her car worked on AGAIN because they would not keep their word or honor their warranty!!! Trust they won't get any of my family or friends business!!!!!
