Kenny is honest with his work, won't sell you more than you need, his work is excellent. His shop is very busy due to this, but well worth the wait. You know what you are going to get and know you won't be taken advantage of.

Kenny Bohan is one honest car mechanic. He not only gets the job done well, but he tries his best to keep the cost down for the customer. Before finding Bohan's, I searched in the area for good mechanics. I talked with about four mechanics to see how they priced an estimate and how they treated me. Kenny was the only one who was not patronizing or condescending, had the best cost and was willing to really talk with us about the car problems and explain things well. We've been going there since 2009. Thanks to Kenny and his crew!

Well I have to say that I have been to a number of automotive shops, mechanics, and the like. This place is truly the best! The service is excellent, Kenny, a true gentleman, knows how to fix just about anything. The prices are the best in town too.

We took our RV in, thinking that the A/C might be dying and trying to resolve engine noise in lower gears. Kenny said the AC was good, just needed to be recharged and found a part that had been damaged that was causing the loud noise we were hearing.
Very pleasant experience by someone who cared about our concerns. And at a reasonable price.

Can't say enough about this place... Kenny is my go to guy for all of our automotive repairs for at least the last 10+ years. We have brought him a motorhome, Jeep, BMW, Fords, Nissan.. You name it they can fix it! Beyond an honest mechanic... Brought in our Jeep last week for a water pump and this week our Excursion, husband did the brakes and thought they seemed not quite right, Kenny took a look and assured is they were all good to go and didn't change us a dime. If you want a honest good hometown mechanic this is your place.

Rock Stars beyond the usual Woohoo!
Kenny and his team of well-trained individuals never disappoint. Yesterday, one of his mechanics, EVA, picked us up at home when our car was ready. She's great. For those dudes out there thinking "a female mechanic?" I'll tell ya this: she's one smart girl; she's knowledgeable of the business, definitely knows her stuff. You have to respect a girl who chose the auto mechanic business while continuing her education at CSUN. And from my understanding, she recently graduated. Congratulations to Eva!
I've read many of the reviews on this shop and I have to agree 100% - Kenny's hard work and honesty are second to none. I mean, the word "honesty" alone in the auto business... c'mon, how rare is that?!
It doesn't stop at honesty, though. We found Bohan Automotive about two years ago. From day one at Kenny's shop, he's always done a great job servicing our Mercedes. We've never looked anywhere else. And one thing I've noticed about him is that he is consistently thorough.
Btw, Yelp's five-star "Woohoo! As good as it gets" thing? Nah, there are those who far exceed the 5-star rating. This group is very small. When others are great; this select group will keep pushing as if they're telling themselves "how can I make this better?" Without a doubt, I can honestly say that Kenny is beyond five stars - he's a ROCK STAR.

I took my 1993 Chevy suburban in so they can check the cooling system because my temperature was hitting the 210 mark and passing it when I would go up hills with my air-conditioner on, they checked it and said everything was fine I even gave them a thermostat to replace they did not put that on right when I took it home I noticed the thermostat housing was leaking They even said my clutch fan was OK I had someone else check it and they told me the clutch fan was not good when I turn the truck on we watched the clutch fan and when we turned the truck off the clutch fan kept spinning so that tells us The clutch fan was not good I replaced it and the problem was fixed it never hit the 210 mark again.

Less than a year ago I moved to SCV, and just recently my "check engine" light came on. Being extremely uneducated about automotive I decided to check out yelp for mechanics in town. After researching several businesses I was not convinced on one. Especially since I wanted honesty from a place. Two different people recommended be to Ken and his place of business. He is extremely nice, honest, and hard working. He communicated with me every step of the way during the maintenance of my car. He confirmed before starting a job and had my car ready as quickly as possible. I have already recommended Ken to my friend, (who recently had trouble with her car, took it to another shop and didn't like it at all!) I feel confident with Ken and his business!

As a long time resident of Santa Clarita, I have had the chance to experience many shops in town. Never have I really been that impressed until I hired Ken and his crew to replace the motor in my Subaru. Im not one to go out of my way to judge people, but these guys are probably the only shop in town that will go out of their way to educate you to the best of there knowledge, and give you 100% respect ( as long as you do the same for them ) They are pleasant to deal with, even while maintaining a very professional work environment. Like most shops, their services are limited, but they do have good referrals if they cannot solve your problem.

Referred by Pride Auto Body (also awesome) because my mechanic in the past had retired and I bounced around with some real con artists until I met Kenny at Bohan's. Extremely happy with his quick, no nonsense estimate without up-selling. He did exactly what he said and charged exactly what he estimated and finished when he said. I also got a ride to and fro from his charming father-in-law who really made my frustrating day much better with his humor and kindness. If the words integrity and honesty had a face, you would probably see Kenny's picture next to them. I cant say enough about Kenny and his staff. I can't express in words just how amazing this place is. But I will try. I live in Tarzana, CA but will drive 30+ miles to have my car(s) serviced there from now on. Kenny and his crew did a great job in doing whatever they can to get my 20 year old car to pass the smog check after being told by another auto mechanic that it could not be done or it would cost about $1500 for repairs with no guarantee that it would pass. I almost thought I'd have to get rid of the car and buy a new one (which I cannot afford at the moment). My sister referred me to Kenny, who quoted much less. He said the other mechanics gauged me. After having my car there for a few days (because he did all he could to get it to pass the smog), he finally got it to pass!!!! They are awesome! They will tell you the truth about everything.
Here's another story! My husband's PT cruiser's radiator had to be replaced as well as the battery. Brought it to Kenny who gave a much less estimate than what I was charged last year for my new radiator. My previous mechanic (who I will never go to again) charged $900 (parts and labor) for installation of my radiator. Kenny charged about $600 for the same service for the pt cruiser (which is harder to fix). Or car was finished by the next day and we were good to go again without having to replace the whole engine. Love this place. Not only are the guys nice, but they are honest mechanics and will not gauge you. He told me that the other mechanic charged us too much. He did a better job too!!!
And once again it feels good to support small individually owned places!!

He is very friendly, timely and fair pricing structure. Have utilized Kenny for years. Once had blown head casket on Ford Mustang. Out of warranty and would have been expensive to repair. Before beginning, Kenny called and remembered Ford had noted defect in 3 year's of Mustang gaskets. Said " would love to repair but should see if Dealer will, reduce costs"! And they did.
