I had recently purchased a 91 dodge stealth rt in blue (my 3rd). In transit, a drunk driver hit the transporter, damaging my bumper. there was a big crack in the middle. Already knowing the reputation of this company, I took it in to have repaired. The price was incredible for what they did. They took the whole bumper off, and redid the entire thing (SANDING,PAINTING,ETC.). Words can't even describe how ecstatic I was when I saw the end product. It's like the car never was damaged. If you ever need paint or body work done, DO NOT go anywhere else. Tom's reputation is 2nd to none, and their pricing is some of the most competitive. I'm a customer for life!!

My Classic Jaguar looks showroom new thanks to Abernathy's quality and dedication to customer satisfaction. Five years ago Tom changed my champagne XJ6 which was crackled on trunk lid and roof from ocean and sun exposure to a Brand New Glossy Alpine White. He uses the highest quality AKZO NOBEL paint and clear sealers also used by Ferrari, Jaguar and most fine automakers. I continue to get daily compliments on my showroom perfect jag. As a customer from the early 80's, having referred many friends and neighbors over the years, we can honestly say that everyone is happy. Keep up the great work Tom!

I had some cosmetic damage on my 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid, and before bringing it to Abernathy's, I went to a couple of body shops near my office. They wanted to charge ridiculously high amounts, claiming there was additional hidden damage. I knew this wasn't true, so I waited until the weekend and brought my car in to Abernathy's this morning. Tom, the owner, acknowledged the simplicity of the damage, he had it fixed in under 20 minutes, and only charged $60. Finally found an honest body shop, I didn't think they existed! I told Tom if I ever need any real body work, I won't go anywhere else.

Got a few quotes, but I went with these guys because they are local and friendly. I recommend them to anyone looking for body shop repair. They did a decent job fixing the bumper on my Camry, and made it look a lot better for cheaper than the rest.

I had a company vehicle get hit in a hotel parking lot overnight by somebody who didn't bother to leave a note or anything, just the smashed up rear bumper and broken tail light.
I found Abernathy's and couldn't be happier with the choice to go here for the repair work. The estimate was fair and very clearly itemized and spelled out. Tom, the owner, was very easy to deal with and incredibly upfront. My company uses Enterprise Fleet Management and Tom had no problem working with them to get approvals and handle billing. The work was completed quickly, very well done, and exactly in line with the estimate, no hidden costs or surprises.
So thanks once again for taking care of our van and getting it looking new again.

It's no wonder why Abernathy's has been around as long as it has. At the recommendation of a friend, I brought in my Honda Accord with damage to its front bumper and hood. Sadly, I had been in an accident with almost identical damage just a year prior, so I knew generally what to expect. The shop's owner, Tom, performed the estimate himself and came back with a very reasonable number. Throughout the process he was extremely pleasant and professional to work with. By the end of the week, I had my car back in beautiful condition just as promised.
The post-accident repair process is always depressing and stressful. I suggest that you take a deep breath and then bring your car over to Abernathy's. You will not be disappointed.

I had an accident in my dads car 1991 and Tom at Abernathy's Auto Paint and Body shop did a terrific job, flash forward to 2013 and my son smashed the front bumper on my Lexus. Tom and the professionals at Abernathy's Body Shop have yet again made everything look new again, even washed the car and polished the head lights that were yellow and dull to bright crystal clear again. I could not believe the difference; excellent work and service. Pricing was very competitive and more than fair; and the work was completed when promised. I will always be a loyal customer and refer family and friends.

Excellent place. I had a major car accident that ruined the whole right-side of my car's front. To make matters worse, i did not have insurance at that time. one body shop actually refused to even inspect the car because the damage was so great. Desperate to find a place that is more affordable than the dealer and yet will take care of my 3 months old car, i came across Abernathy as the best body shop in the fort lauderdale area. Tom (The owner) took excellent care and provided me with a better quotation than dealership. It was so comforting to deal with a body shop that are honest, wont rip you off and most of all do a great work. I got my car back just like new All original parts and one-year warranty. DEFINITELY recommended.
