Of course my transmission decided to go out right when I got my tax refund. Not wanting to get ripped off I looked at several transmission shops and went with Pro Torque. I'm glad I did because they couldn't of been a better choice. I took the transmission out myself and brought it to them. Tony, Mike and Mike were more than honest, friendly and explained everything to me to ensure that when I reinstalled it there would be no problems. The price was more than fair and they had it completely rebuilt in about 3 days. If I ever need work done in the future I know where to go.

Poor is giving these yaahoos way TOO MUCH CREDIT! I have tried to be nice I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but I left with my vehicle on a TOW TRUCK! Yes, I just got home 2 hours later! I paid for a billet transmission even purchased the parts on my own so parts aren't the issue they came from a reliable company! I have already replace the torque converter due to issues and also the valve body, prior to the changes I gave them more credit than needed and allowed them to try and make right on their wrong however they failed. The first time they failed they wanted me to pay 200.00 to replace the transmission fluid (Royal Purple) with less than 5,000 miles in the new build and fluid with deep pan after paying for the transmission to be built. At the time of building they knew the vehicle was going to be on the track they knew we were going to put horsepower behind it given the reason we paid for billet parts! The vehicle has been down the track for 2 races seems like I am at a loss in money and faith, not sure I would send my worst enemy to them that would be putting more faith than needed into this company! NEVER AGAIN Maybe Tony or Mike would like to pay for the TOW bill or the bill to get this transmission rebuilt by someone that knows what they are doing, If I were to take it to them this time in the 14 months since it has been built this would be the 4th time it had to be returned and this isn't the first vehicle we have done this with. GOOD LUCK and hope you have great attorney's I believe I need a refund PS YOUR DAUGHTER WOULD BE A CONFLICT OF INTEREST!!!!!

What happens when you have a major transmission problem and are getting conflicting advice from anyone who has ever picked up a wrench? I did three days of research on all the local experts, called them for estimates, read internet reviews and asked around. I chose to go with Pro Torque Converters and am glad I did. They towed my car from my home to their shop at no charge. They rebuilt my transmission on their premises in the 3 days that they said it would take. And did it at the price that they originally quoted. When Tony quoted me the price, I (always the skeptic) asked about additional charges such as parts, fluids, etc. and he told me that his price would not be a dime over what he quoted. Was very satisfied with the service and quality of work. Bonus is that I discovered that Pro Torque is not just a transmission builder. Now I have a reputable place to go for general repairs also. Tony, Mike, and John are honest, courteous, and dependable.
