Most honest and knowledgeable mechanics in the area. The customer service is amazing. I had a major issue with my Dodge Ram truck that two other mechanics could not diagnose. Silver Star repaired the issue quickly and the vehicle has been running perfect for the last 2 years. I highly recommend this family-owned business to everyone.

Silver Star is everything you're looking for in a repair shop and more! These are the most genuine people I know; they are always friendly and polite; They go the extra mile to make you feel like you're part of their family and not just a dollar sign! The shop is clean, organized, and inviting. The service is THOROUGH, ACCURATE, RELIABLE, TIMELY, and they are NOT in the business of ripping peple off! This kind of character is hard to find in today's world! I reccomend Silver Star to everyone I know!

I have been taking both my Mercedes & my Ford pick-up there for a couple of years now. They are very knowledgeable & call to explain what is going on with your vehicle before doing any work. Depending on where you live, they also will take you home & pick you up-this is crucial for me bcs I work from home & need to be near the computer. Whether they are more expensive-I'm not sure; however I prefer to pay someone what they feel is a fair rate for good service than be tricked into work that doesn't need to be done, which has happened to me several times in the past at other places. I wished I had listened to the owner when he suggested Silver Star get my truck tires, instead I went to the place a few doors up-and when I got up north the tires had a slow leak bcs they did not fit the rim.....so I ended up taking it somewhere up there to get fixed-should have let Silver Star handle it.... I'm very satisfied with the service and will continue to take my vehicles there.

I just felt the need to give a big thank you to Scott and all of his employees at Silver Star. I took my wife and two young daughters on a road trip late last fall from Northern Minnesota to the Daytona area to visit family for two weeks. It was snowing when we left MN and by the time we hit Florida it was in the 90s and sure enough the air conditioning wasn't keeping up. Day two it was completely out and my family was not ready to deal with that kind of heat. My in-laws told me they had had good luck with Silver Star in the past so I gave them a call. They told me they could fit me in around noon that day. When I got there everyone was very friendly and they got my vehicle in right away. I was told that it would be a while to get it fixed so they offered me a loaner vehicle for the rest of the day. They called me a short time later to let me know it was a hole in my condenser so it needed to be replaced. I expected this to take a day or two, but to my surprise I got a call late that afternoon telling me the problem was fixed and I could come get my vehicle. When I showed up just before close my vehicle was sitting in the parking lot freshly washed. Scott came out, popped the hood and went through what they did. Besides fixing the air, my engine had been washed (first time in the five years I had owned it) and he told me that they checked out the rest of the vehicle as well. Everything else checked out in good working order except for the radiator cap which they also replaced for me. I made it through the rest of the trip with ice cold air and a happy family, atleast until we got home still in our Florida shorts/shirts and the outside temp was in the 30s. I brought my vehicle into the dealer the week we got home for an oil change, and for curiosity purposes asked what they would have charged me for the work that Silver Star did. The dealer would have charged me more than double what Silver Star was able to do it for. So, once again thank you... thank you... thank you!

Silver Star is fantastic. Honest, efficient, friendly people make up their knowledgable staff. Whether for an oil change, diagnostic, or major repair, Silver Star treats their customers like family before, during and after every visit. Not like an annoying cousin or nagging aunt either; it's more like you're a beloved nephew or something. Definitely the best automobile service shop around!

Not so sure that the service is as good as it once was. My tires were bald (but I didn't know that) and I specifically asked them to check my tires. It had been a while since I had gotten tires and I just wanted to be safe. I was assured they were fine. Then... Almost had a total blow out! The one back tire just split apart and wires came out of them that same month... They were THAT bad! I ended up getting four new tires. I took the photo into them and they started to tell me a nail could make a tire go flat... Until I showed them the photos. They apologized and admitted they just must have just checked the tire pressure. There was no way they could miss these very bald tires.
They then proceeded to tell me my gaskets were leaking when I came in for oil and I asked them to send me an estimate. I stopped back later in the month (my oil change was almost due). Again, explained I had never gotten the estimate. They looked and realized they hadn't sent it but assured me they would that night. Still haven't gotten it to date. Decided to take it right next door to get a second opinion and estimate. Was told the gaskets weren't wasn't leaking at all!
Silverstar used to be so good! Not sure what is going on. Just not the same service or care.
