Great service. Nice to see that customers matter to some businesses. They explained what I needed in way that I understood. Good people.

Excellent service at Lee Myles in Exeter. They were fast and professional. Price was very good for what I had done (brakes and tuneup)

I wanted to say thank you again for all of the hard work you did to help me get my car past inspection. I will definitely be coming back to get work done in the future. Thanks again. Dawn Reedy

Honesty is an important quality in a mechanic. We brought our vehicle here for state inspection. They called and said the exhaust pipe was rusted off the muffler and they HAD to replace both pieces to fix it... Which would be about $660 including the inspection. And if we told them right away to fix it (AKA please don't research this) they could finish the work same day. I went and looked at the break myself. It was the joint in 2 pipes rusted. Maybe the only way THEY could fix it was to order new parts and replace them. Fine. But tell me that! Say "it will cost us $660 to fix this because we can't weld or bend pipe but if you bring this to an exhaust place they should be able to replace this little pipe piece very cheap." They didn't say anything like that. I took the car to a local exhaust place and they fixed it for $60. I get very angry when places do stuff like this because I'm not a car expert and I need to able to trust my mechanic. We will never spend a single penny here again even if we get a flat tire right in front of their shop.

Today, I was in out of my area and realized I was a few miles short of an oil change. While driving up 422, I saw a place with a giant sign out front that boasted a 15 minute oil change. Since I'm a girl who doesn't like to wait around, 15 minutes isn't bad for an oil change.
So I walk in, ready to get my service. I stood there for at least 5 full minutes while the secretary at the desk took a personal phone call. About 3 minutes in, I was acknowledged but it was still another minute or two before I was asked about why I came in. She takes my keys and I sit down in the waiting area.
A few minutes later, one of the service guys comes in. He shows me my air filter, tells me it's dirty (and it definitely was), and asked if he wanted me to replace it (adding that everything else in my car looked great). I asked how much it would cost and he tells me $10.00 for the part and no additional labor, so I let him do it.
Then I don't see my car for about 1/2 an hour, maybe a little longer...I pay and leave. Once I get into my car, I realize that the boy who did the service on my car also took the liberty of vacuuming out my car (which ironically was what I was going to do after the oil change).
It is a little pricey for an oil change ($34.95), but usually the service can't be beat. (And usually there is a nicer older gentleman running the desk who is much more pleasant.)
Alas, it will be awhile before my Ford finds herself parked in this garage again. There are much cheaper places nearby. Get rid of the desk lady and maybe, just maybe I'll come back.

Here are the facts:
-they estimated our muffler repair at $650.
-we had it repaired the same day down the street for $60.
-the front desk clerk was either touched with a slight mental set-back or was just a genuine douche whistle. Perhaps both, I'm not choosy.
-when I returned to pick up my truck, I found that the hood wouldn't close. To my chagrin, the aforementioned douche whistle or his half-ape wrench man broke my friggin hood release. I was able to get the hood down but now I'll need that fixed too.
-they will never see $1 more of my money.
