I have been going to Wayne Aut...

I have been going to Wayne Auto Spa on the monthly platinum plan since mid July. I was satisfied with the service. I purchased the monthly auto-renewable plan for approximately 75.00 a month (Platinum). As of August 12th, I paid the fee on my credit card. A couple of days later, I informed the clerk at the desk that I would not need the September to October plan and to please suspend it for that month, since I would be away for most of it. I told her I intended to renew the plan when I returned. I returned to have my car washed on the 30th of August. I was informed that my plan was cancelled, which was NOT my intent. On top of that they washed my car without my permission while I went into the shop to straighten the problem out. The owner was very rude and told me I had not cancelled in time. I informed him I did not want to cancel and that I still had until Sept 12th to use the current plan that I had paid for. By then they had washed my car and then charged me full price for a platinum wash. The owner then proceeded to sit in my car and attempt to impound it because I did not want to pay for a wash that should have been included in that month's plan. He then would not let me pay with another credit card and insisted on cash. These are disreputable, rude and deceptive business practices and I intend to call the bank to register a charge of business fraud against my account. Suffice to say, with practices like that, they won't be in business very long.

I have the unlimited car wash plan and they do a great job. Furthermore, I brought my Jaguar to the Quick Lube and got an oil change service and Jeff was nice enough to check my breaks and tell me that they were still good. Jaguar told me that my front breaks needed replacement and probably any other place would have just gone ahead and replaced them. But I appreciated their honesty. The staff is very accommodating, friendly. I will continue to go back and recommend highly to others.

First time going there a year ago, I have an suv so it already costs more just to wash. I get the platimun package which was the highest. They wash the car and as I drive away I'm not impressed. When I get home I noticed the windshield is streaky from what ever they used to wipe it, the touch screen still has finger prints all over, the dash is dusty and when I go to the 2nd row there is chips on the rubber mat... which was supposedly taken out n washed, then i find dirt n crumbs still on the floor by my sons car seat. I call to speak to the owner, they take my name n number and never call me back... for that price almost $30?!?!?!? I even provided pictures to what wasn't done. It was not worth it. Never going there again. The way the owner treats his "customers" is unheard of!!!! Its great how its always the customers fault BUT there are MULTIPLE people who have had the same experience over the years. Guess it wasnt just me who got crappy service....

100% the worst business place I have ever went to. After paying full price for a "gold" package I was very unhappy. I went back to have them take care of the problems. Told the man at front of the car wash and he said " ok no problem, we'll take care of it. He proceeded to put it through the tunnel. When it came I was asked to pay full price again! When I refused, he literally confiscated my keys and wouldn't return my CAR!! He actually refused to return it even after FOUR police came and advised him to give me my keys..

I will not go here anymore. A good friend of mine got her car stolen from this crook over a $20 dispute. Police got involved and he still would not give the keys back to my friend. The car came out of the car wash dirty and he tried to charge her to wash it a second time. It should have been done right the firat time. Very unprofessional. Pay your neighborhood kids to wash and vacuum your car. Be careful going here.

I took silver service. They suppose to vacuum the car interior and clean areas under the car Plus regular exterior washing. They were so quick, so quick that they didn't do vacuum proparly. Didn't pressure wash the car wheel areas. Mud was stocked there as it was before the wash. I don't see value for my money. Finally I went to other "do it your self" car wash place and got the vacuum and under carriage washing done by myself. I wouldn't want to defame the whole team there. As advertised they were quick and had lot of people on job. Guys who were outside cleaning the car were fast and efficient but the person who did vacuum and under carriage cleaning didn't pay enough attention. I Would not like to go there again.

A one star is being entirely too generous. I brought my car here and paid for the gold service. After my car came out dirty and pointing it out to the gentlemen drying my car, the attempted to clean it up more. Because I was on a time restraint, I needed to leave. I took photos and came back the next day to resolve the issue. He re-washed the car and then is trying to charge me $20. The car came out yet again dirty and he won't give me my keys back. He told me he can keep my car. He believes A $40,000 car is his to keep. The POLICE came, hes arguing the police and refusing to return the keys and now is trying to bargain for me to pay half price. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!ps after two washes my car is STILL dirty!

Seems that every time I am there they try to sell you all these Upgrades and your oil change becomes Very expensive. I like giving local guys business but I wonder if all the things they push are really necessary.
Just like to add to this review that the owner got back to me and seems to be a very giving person in the community and very interested in doing what's right for the customer.

Will not go back, poor management, never get what you pay for. had a $125 gift card given to me, the workers never use the compressed air to dry my car or jeep. don't waste your money going here. windows come out worse than when you bring it in. told managers and owner many times and the guys out back and out front and cashier.. won't waste my money here again. ..believe me, i tried many times here, many...my mom bought me a $125 gift card rob, 8 out of 10 times did they not use the compressed air which they are supposed to use to dry my car. today i asked for a towel to dry the hood, roof and trunk and rear of my car which was soaked. they told me my car was finished and ready to go........why did i get mad and leave? because they did not use the compressed air detailing for the 100th time i've used your car wash. plain and simple. ..if your "manager" was watching, he missed the guys moving on to the next car leaving mine soaked, hood, roof and trunk were not touched...i wrote you several times on facebook to mention to you the problem. ..i have tried many many times to tell you personally and you just don't care. ....my windshield wasn't even touched, the windows come out horrible..i have two vehicles that won't return to your business...you should be ashamed of yourself..Received totally rude, Nasty, obnoxious and totally uncalled for Phone Call From the owner..All the Money I spent at your business?, totally wrong..Unprofessional Business Owner, Sad.." You regularly treat our staff rudely, cursing and name calling. That's no way to behave under any circumstance" You would outright lie to try and prove me wrong..Never called one person any names, how ridiculous you get when customers prove you wrong..You can't handle the truth, ever wonder why there is no customers on line??? :( I hate to give this place such a low rating especially since they make such an effort to be green. I supported them during their wind turbine controversy and bought fresh eggs from their chickens. Unfortunately, the owner was extremely rude and now we won't be going back - It probably doesn't matter since the owner made a comment about being okay about losing our business. No need to respond to my review Rob, since I can see that you have an excuse for everything. You probably will anyway, i'm sure.

I can't speak for the negative reviews here, but I've personally never had an issue with multiple oil changes and car washes over the years.
The prices are average, the service has always been friendly, and I've never had to wait long even on busy days. Also love the little garden and chickens hanging out, very cool.
It's a quick car wash place, not a detailing shop. If you're expecting an immaculate wash and interior cleaning you might want to go to a professional detailing location. I feel the service is fine for the cost.

The point of my previous review was to indicate that with such high prices for a car wash, I should have not had to complain about the service. Yes, Glenn spent extra time to clean it and he was wonderful! But I should have not had to spent extra time at a car wash because it was done incorrectly the first time. Maybe a coupon for a free car wash next time would've been nice or a discount on that one.

My first time here, went in for a car detailing and left pretty pleased. Dropped my car in the morning and 3 hrs later, they called me that it was ready for pickup. ( I have a small 2 door car) It was pretty quick! They found loads of change in my car and was kind enough to put it all in a little bag for me. The only thing I had to complain was some streak marks on my seat, I had to go in and let them know they have to clean that. Other than that, my car is 10X better now than when I dropped it all messy and dirty. I would come back again!

I don't understand the negative reviews on here! Every time my husband and I are in town, and need to get the oil changed we come here. Yes, they do offer to replace parts as needed, but it's your decision to buy them or not. It's not a pressure situation. I love that the owner is so involved with the environment, and with the community.

Went for a simple car wash after my car was parked under a tree for the weekend. It had a lot of sap and leaves on it. Thought this would be no problem for a business that's been around for years. Well, I thought wrong. After I left and got out of my car at work I realized there we're leaves still stuck in the windshield and near trunk, easily accessible without opening anything. And there was still sap on my car. I figured with 5 guys drying my car they could at least take care of that, wrong again. They simply just dried over what the car wash didn't actually wash. Safe to say I wasted 15 bucks and my time. Won't be returning

The reviews from some of these people are insane!! Wayne Auto Spa is the best!! I took advantage of their monthly car wash package and I get to wash my car whenever, and as many times as I please. The staff is kind and courteous and they always leave my car fresh and clean. This is the place you would want to go to for any car needs. They have an excellent service department. Hands down, the best car wash/service for your car.

Just bought a used car so I figured I'd be smart to get a car detail before I started using it. WHAT.A.JOKE! $150 worth of nothing. It was worse off after. The detailer left grease dripping on my dash, trash under the seats. The chairs still had gunk in the crevices. C'mon!!! What a rip off these people are and after I complained the detailer came back out and his means of fixing my issues was to just grab the trash. Never again am I making the mistake of going to Wayne auto spa!!! My husband spent 3 more hours fixing and cleaning what the detailer left.

Hello Rob. First I would like to laugh, ha ha, at your ignorant and passive aggressive response to my experience at your business. Secondly, since you have made an effort to look up and comment on my other reviews, yes the nissan dealership in Wayne is also a very poorly run business...which is why I went elsewhere for my vehicle, if you must know. My "buyers remorse" as you call it is not of the vehicle I purchased bc I am quite happy with it but of the regret of giving you my money. With that being said...Yes I was aware of the $139.99, that you are correct...so I expected the job to be worth that, however,everything else you are saying to me is false. I am not ignorant and I know what to expect when an interior detail is to be performed; this is not my first one, just the first at your location. No one went over my car..before or after. No one explained what your "detail" includes...a shotty vacuum job and a greasy spray down of my car does not entitle it to be cleaned. I DID complain to the young lady at the desk that my services were not up to an actual detail. I spoke with your detailer Anthony as well, who only picked up the trash that was left after it was "finished". He did not wipe the grease that was dripping off my dash even after I made a comment that it appeared he sprayed my dash but never wiped. Whatever condition my car was in is irrelevant because it was not clean when I came to pick it up. I paid for services that I was not happy about nor at any point exclaimed to be happy. I did not leave a tip, tips are earned and I did not feel as though it had been. Maybe your employees said one thing to your face but that is not at all how I felt. I left infuriated and my husband out of his kind heart spent the next 3 hours of his day to wipe off the gunk your products left and actually CLEANED my car. Call it what you will but I left in good graces after a very poor job.

No Rob, again, not a single person went over my car with me before or after. Not sure who you referencing as "we" but as I arrived and walked to enter your facility, Anthony asked if I was here for the detail, introduced himself as the detailer and took my keys and that was it. As I returned, went in to pay, saw Anthony who gave me my keys. I paid, went out, saw the work that was not done. Contemplated just leaving because initially I was so upset that this was the work I was delivered but after speaking it through with my husband, I went back in and told the young lady I was unhappy. She got Anthony and I told him what I had written in my review earlier. He spent 2 minutes in my car, again just picking the trash up and not wiping my dash, and said I was all done. That was my last straw and I left. Maybe you are the one who is ambivalent, had this been the work I was expecting from a detail, my review would be much different. Your responses and accusations are neither needed nor founded and honestly show a great deal about your character. You can delete what you wrote and or try to sound as accommodating now as you can but the bridge is burned. My review stands and so will the other negative reviews you've received.

I am not a satisfied customer. I paid around 25 bucks for the platinum wash and boy did they do an awful job. I felt as if I didn't even receive the basic car wash. They left the inside of my car absolutely filthy. Yes, they vacuumed but that was it. They left smudges all over my windows, dust all over the dashboard, I specifically had requested they clean the inside of the cup holders as they were sticky...this wasn't done either. They barely sprayed the water away from the windows and when I got on the highway all the water started to spray the windows, making them even more dirty than they already were. Really disappointing, especially since I paid so much money for services I didn't receive. I was tempted to drive right back as soon as I pulled out of the lot but I had somewhere to be and didn't have the time to deal with them. So, as you can imagine..I'll NEVER go back to this place ever again. I highly advise you take my advice and save your money. It was as if I took $25 and just threw it in the trash can.

When I say avoid at all costs, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! My biggest issue with this place is that every single time I went there, I had to ask the guys to go back and wipe down the numerous spots they missed in the interior of my car. I used to come here relatively often due to its convenience from my house. The last time I came by was when the day before, I picked up a large food order for my family and put it in my backseat. Some sauce spilled out of the package and I didn't bother cleaning it up because I had planned to bring my car to Wayne Auto Spa the next day. --- After they were done with the wash, I got in the car and saw that they didn't even attempt to clean up the little spill. I was done after that. Let me conclude by saying that they tricked me into coming back by giving me a $3 off any car wash coupon every single time I went there. Should have known that it was an act of desperation to get some business.

I went in for a quick 20 minute oil change and left an unhappy customer. They completed my oil change in 20 minutes and then told me I needed some kind of oil injection performed and was told I would receive $10 off that service because of my oil change. When I went to pay, I found out that the $10 discount would be in the form of a $10 card sent to my house, that I could only use at their business. My car went thru the wash, and when I got in I noticed oil marks on the inside of my car door. Thanks for nothing. I will not be returning here. Received my check from Gastrol Oil, and it was only $5 instead of $10. Nothing they did was right! DON'T GO HERE!

I went here quite a few times recently...I've been venturing to find a new local wash/lube place to fit my needs...
The oil change guys are par for the course - nothing special...Attempts to upsell you on elective services like transmission flushes and power steering fluid are annoying, but all too common in this industry...
The washes some out OK, but not great...I went in about a year ago with snow on top of my car once, and the wash tunnel failed to even get it off...My car came out with snow still on its roof...
All of this I can let go, as it seems similar to all the other places near here...The thing that turns me off about this place is its politics...I constantly get bombarded with ads pushing me to 'go green' and verbal attempts to 'persuade' me into their way of thinking...Although I'm an avid outdoosman and I agree with protecting the environment, I don't need to hear about your every complaint about those who disagree with you or your fights with the township...I simply want to get an oil change and a car wash...
It's because of this, that I have chosen to go elsewhere...

I came to the wash with my new car (2 weeks old) to get a good wash from the salt/dirt from the previous snow storm. I got the gold wash package. I followed the car through the wash and once it came out when the guys were so called drying and "air detailing" it. I came over when they were done and found dirt around my car and in the drivers mat. I paid $23.26 (incl tax) which included:
Tire Shine
Wheel Brightener
Triple Foam Polish Wax with Rustoleum
Hot Wax
High Pressure Undercarriage Rinse
Vacuum Interior
Exterior Wash
Fragrance
Compressed Air Detailing
This was one of the poorest car washes i have been to. I would look somewhere else because it's not worth the money. I went home and re-cleaned and detailed my car because of the left over dirt these guys failed to clean.

I've been going to Wayne Auto Spa for many years. I have tried probably every car wash around this area over the last ten years and keep coming back. When you walk in you get a friendly greeting. Two minutes later you are sitting, reading and waiting for the work to get done, which happens quickly. The oil changes are fast.
Yes, they will try to upsell you on air filters changes etc. I'm surprised anyone is offended by this practice. Most people don't even think twice when asked "you want fries with that?", or "you want to biggie size that?". So the question "you wanna replace your air filter?" should not be viewed as a negative.
The car wash is great! The guys at the front of the wash usually take a decent amount of time working on cleaning the wheels and vacuuming the interior. They guys at the exit scramble to get the car dried and all the windows clean. Definitely worth the money. If I could afford it I would buy one of those plans to get my car washed frequently.
The owner of the place is a friendly guy who feels accountable for his business, his product (wash/oil/etc) and his employees. So if you have a question, seek him out. He will take the time to discuss it with you.

I'm very surprised to see the less than enthusiastic reviews here. I get one of my cars washed here as needed and find the only thing that I don't like here are the hours. If this place was open later I would buy the unlimited package. One huge thing here is that most of the workers are American! That I love and would gladly pay a bit more to help my fellow Americans rather than illegals.

Quick service they get you in and out for a carwash. The only down side is they don't do that great of a job cleaning rims or the glass windows. There's always streaks and tons of towel lint everywhere. I usually end up wiping them down myself when I get home. As said in previous reviews it's difficult for me to also make it here after work they close fairly early compared to Wayne carwash right down the road.

I'm for all the going green this car wash is doing but if they aren't going to do a good job and then charge me $25 i'll go somewhere else. I just went for a carwash yesterday and the inside looks terrible and there is still brake dust on my rims. I wasn't surprised because it took them 30 seconds to vacuum the inside of my car. They also put my floor mats in soaking wet.
