Always Fair

I've been bringing my vehicles here for the last few years. They have always been honest and fair. They have come out and told me if I could get by a little longer or if i should do work soon. Never pushy sales. When something was wrong, once, they made good . Recommend highly. Knowledgeable staff once diagnosed problem while talking about it. six vehicles I've owned they worked on and any more I buy.

i wrote a review about them, as well as a few other people left them negative reviews and they deleted them. this place was horrible, and that woman who works behind the front desk is a extemely rude woman. horrible customer service. i had them do an exhaust system for me, and i had to bring it in 6 times to get something re welded because it had leaks everywhere, and there excuse was they accused me of driving my truck to "wreckless" are you kidding me??!! then i had them replace my catilytic converter for high flow one, and it was a stock one they put back on, and they kept my old one. horrible people, bring your business elsewhere.

Great helpful courteous people. Honest skilled mechanics. They go out of their way to help. When my car needed work to start, even though they were fully booked they called back and made time for me. Highly recommend them.

This place is the best!! They have kind courteous people there with great customer service. The work they perform on your vehicle is top notch and they will take great care of you and your vehicle. They bring your car in right away when you arrive for your appointment and don't make you wait forever just to bring it in like other places like Mavis and Midas do who overbook their appointments and you wait hours and your car is still sitting outside. Kinda defeats the point of making an appointment. Anyway they also have excellent welding skills and great affordable hourly rates. If you need your car fixed and you want it done right go to these guys. Trust me I'm also a mechanic and I've seen it all when it comes to getting your car fixed.

Waiting to have my twin flex pipes replaced, so far so good, a warm welcome and prompt service set us in a great starting position. Waiting room is bright simple and open. you may have no cell or data service inside of building here but rest assured the staff at the front desk is great she will hook you up with the WiFi if needed. **Optimum & Xfinity (Comcast) hotspots available large bright clean bathroom last thing not sure of price yet...........stay tuned work is done great price, great experience, Thanks Gary for the great install car sounds great

I purchased a used Honda Odyssey this week. I drove it Wednesday evening and it handled perfectly. On Thursday, I took my four kids to school early in the morning in heavy fog. I'm what a kind person might call navigationally impaired, so when I was supposed to go one way, I went the other. I'm not entirely certain what I did wrong, but instead of going to Brewster, I ended up in Millerton. About this time, I decided that the fog I saw from my rear view mirror was actually smoke, and pulled over in a farm stand's parking lot. The owners were friendly and helpful, peeked under my car and saw transmission fluid, and told me that driving back home was a Bad Bad Idea. With them escorting me in their vehicle, they drove with me to North East Muffler. Cindy, the owner, told me not to worry. I brought all four of my kids into the waiting room and kept them mellow while she had the mechanics check out the car to see if it was safe to drive. As I'd feared, the transmission fluid that I saw pouring out of the car all over the parking lot was almost gone. She confirmed that if I had gone home (which is what my husband had wanted me to do) the transmission would have been shot by the time I got there, if in fact I even made it that far. She made several calls to try to find the cheapest parts for me, then made arrangements with me to fix the car the next day. My father in law picked up the first three kids, then came back for the fourth and me. At no point did she seem at all impatient or irritated, even when my kids were unhappy about being cooped up in a boring waiting room when they'd rather be at school with friends and doing interesting things. (My kids would go to school all year, if they had a chance. Longview in Brewster is a fabulous school!) She called me to let me know what was going on today as soon as she knew and I made arrangements for my father in law to take us back. I had my 8 year old with me and she gave us the remote control and let him get comfy while we waited. Even though the repairs took longer than expected, she was calm and patient. When I didn't understand what was causing the delay, she explained in detail what was the problem and why it was taking longer than expected. I'm not a car person and I REALLY appreciated it. I can't tell you if they charge more or less than average, but I can tell you that with Cindy Heck, I felt SAFE and felt that she treated my family respectfully. I would gladly go back to North East Muffler Inc for more repairs on my car in the future.
