Honest, quality repairs. I've used these guys for several years on several different vehicles and not once have they tried to do any unnecessary work for a little extra money.

These guys do great work -- Chris and his team have taken great care of my Audi a few times now. A mark of a top-notch repair shop is that they can actually repair many parts giving you issues on your car, rather than a much more expensive out-right replacement. They keep my car on the road, and some cash in my wallet; five stars all the way!

I brought my BMW in to get looked at due to braking issues on Saturday. Although they already have prior appointments, they were quick to take my car out for a test drive to see what are the issues. Once done they were able to squeeze my work order in to order the parts (OEM) and changed the front brakes. All in all I was out of the shop within 3 hours. I am very meticulous when it comes to car maintenance and repairs since I drive over 100 miles everyday and need to make sure my car is always safe and in good working order. These guys really did a fantastic job quickly and at a deep discount compared to dealership for the same job. Chris also offered to drive me to the public transportation but since that was fast I chose to wait there. Overall I highly recommend them for trusted and affordable service.

I had my BMW serviced at this shop by Chris. Everything was quick and quality, I mention other problems of car that I only think might be issues. Chris did not make story about anything that I do not need. Chris serviced my car within the ordinary maintainance required. Thats was it. Simply, straight to the point no extras that I dont need. I highly recommend this place to anyone who need their cars work own and with a peace of mind not getting charge for something else. Im now a permanent customer.

I'll be the first to write a fabulous review on Advanced Auto Service.
I discovered Advanced Auto Service about 3 years ago when I had first moved to the area. My vehicle had an issue with the starter and I was forced to have it towed to the nearest mechanic. The tow truck driver recommended this place so I took a gamble and had my vehicle towed here. The first time I met the owner Chris, he has always been very friendly, extremely helpful, very knowledgable, and honest about the issues going on with my cars and the prices needed to get everything replaced or repaired. On my first visit for example, I was only charged roughly $200 dollar for a new starter. I was immediately relieved because I thought I would get ripped off like any other mechanic. I'm pretty sure other mechanics probably would have charged me close to $500 dollars for a new starter. Since that first time, I have locked myself in as permanent customer.
Over the years, I have taken both of my vehicle in for various repairs and scheduled maintenance. I've had to get my transmission flushed twice on both vehicles, anti-freeze flushed, brake flushed, oil changed, wheel bearing replaced, brakes and rotors replaced, etc. Each time I brought my vehicle in for an issue, Chris made sure to carefully look and properly track down the problem and give me a price breakdown of everything. I really appreciate how Chris prints out an estimate showing the exact number of hours needed to complete a job, as well as a print out of how much the part will cost for him to order it. He's very upfront about the costs and I have had NO indication that he was ever trying to get over in any kind of way. I know for a fact that many other mechanics would have purchased a part and mark up the price to make a profit. I have been in the office with Chris where he was looking up parts and he would say "Come here and look. This is how much the part wll cost. But I will try to call around and see if I can get it at a cheaper price for you. I'm trying to find you original parts because I don't recommend you putting aftermarket parts on the car because they won't hold up."
If you live nearby in the Gaithersburg, Clarksburg, or Germantown, I highly reocmmend this place to get your car worked on. Stop taking your car to the expensive dealership. This place will handle all of your mechanical needs. You're always at peace when you have a mechanic who's not going to cheat you and knows exactly what they're doing.
