My Son's truck was stranded 20 miles away from home. I had no idea what to do other than I knew I needed a tow truck at 10:00 pm on a work night. I called another company (Hadley) as they came up first on the google search, the guy was rude and hung up on me. The West Bloomfield Police department told me to call Keford so I did. They took less than 45 minutes to get there and were less expensive than Hadley. The customer service was a breath of fresh air and I am thankful for them coming to our rescue! I will be putting Keford in my contacts so I know EXACTLY who to call if I ever am stuck again!

GREAT SERVICE! Just picked up my car today. Looks great! They matched my pearl white paint perfectly. There was a lot of damage and I can't believe it came out so good. Keford towed my car to their shop so I kept it there even though the insurance company wanted to take it to their shop. GLad I did too. My mom got her car done a little while ago in Livonia and she is still having problems with it. I'm going to tell her to bring it here. They can probably fix it. Cathy helped me get a rental car from Enterprise and I dropped it off at the shop when I was done. Very convenient. Nice people who really care about the customer. So happy to have my car! I just saw their post on Facebook about their most loyal customer. Some guy who has been bringing his cars to them for over 60 years....that's loyalty. I can definitely say that I know what he means when he says Keford is the only shop I trust to work on my cars, I feel the same way. I have always had beautiful work done, and the people have always been very pleasant and professional to deal with. They make it a very enjoyable experience to get your car worked on,especially when they are done, my car always looks better than when it was new! I'm surprised to see so many 1 star ratings! I blew a tire just mere hours ago on 696 in rush hour traffic. Called my insurance and once off the phone got a call from Keford for a tow within 10 minutes. After that call, they arrived within 20 minutes. Brad was awesome. Just a really good guy, gave me some sound advice on things to do since I drive 130+ miles a day for work. Wish I had had some cash on me to give him a tip! Thanks, Brad!

They are total scammers ,they took advantage of my daughter. They made her pay for Towing, and when she wanted it towed somewhere else, they would not allow AAA to tow it from them. She had no choice but to sign over the title and pay the fee. Shame on them for taking advantage of my daughter, who was already traumatized from the crash!

I called Keford after we locked our keys in the car. When i called Keford, the man who answered was very pleasant and had someone out within 30 minutes! Whit was extremely courteous and very helpful. he was able to unlock the car and retrieve the keys within 5 minutes of being there. Thanks Keford!

I got in an an accident once and the cops had Keford take my car to Keford yard(which I don't understand why they didn't ask me where I wanted my car taken) Keford then told me my car was totaled and I could just give them my car at no cost. What a joke right? I tried asking for the owner to see if they wanted to buy it for scrap but he wouldn't see me. So I wanted my car out of there and they made it nearly impossible for me to get it out because of their "policies". I called other tow companies to get my car out and apparently they are notorious for this. Seems like a shady crooked place to me

Keford has repaired my vehicles several times over the past 30 years. That says a lot about this company- over 30 years!! It is the same faces and the same quality. After being in a major accident, Keford repaired the air bags and body back to a beautiful, safe vehicle. I know it was safe because sadly, we had another major accident in that same vehicle. -The airbags went off beautifully and saved me and my husband (2 kids in the back) from any severe injury. That is a testament to their work. I have used Keford towing also. The drivers are knowledgeable and very helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were safe. Keford is local. They give to my kids school(they bring wrecked cars to our high school to recreate 'drunk driving accidents and fatalities) and community. I have recommended Keford to family members and friends. All have had great experiences. Keford is just the shop I trust.

The POOR ratings are due to the fact that Keford handles Police towing. They are great! I have used them to tow our work vehicles for years. Dispatch is quick , and tow drivers take great care when working on vehicles. They can also provide roadside service for fan belts, air brakes and a lot more.

Where do I begin? This company does towing for a few police departments in the area, the company customer service people and drivers have horribly rude and pompous attitudes. I believe it's because they tow for some departments and basically think they can do whatever I want. I have personally seen one of their drivers cut a car off on m5 then pull over blocking the lane in front of the car they cut off, get out of their tow truck and run up to the car they cut off yelling and pointing their finger at the driver of the car that they themselves cut off My Mom lived in a local apartment complex in Farmington Hills, she heard a tow truck out in the parking lot where her car was parked, she looked out her window and saw a Farmington hills police car as well as Keford towing. Keford had her suv hooked up and was in the process of putting it on the tow bed when my Mother yelled out "what are you doing?" And their reply was (rudely) "towing your vehicle your plates are expired"... "They most certainly are NOT" *tow driver glances down and notices they aren't expired, police officer drives away tow driver unhooks her vehicle and drives away* really????? And last but not least, my Mother was involved in an accident pulling out of her apartment complex. A car slammed into her as she pulled out. Keford to the rescue. My moms car has a bunch of mechinal things wrong with it from being hit Keford attempted to DRIVE it away from the accident scene causing the transmission to blow and so on top of the cosmetic damage to the suv and a few malechinal issues now the transmission was done and it was at her expense. Way to go

Horrible service, my fiancee truck has been impounded all of my personal belongings are in that vehicle my cell phone purse brand new clothes just purchased and paperwork for a court case that was needed I contacted keford about this and getting my personal items and I was told over the phone all I needed was my id and a letter from the owner of the car well upon arrival at keford I was treated very poorly and the woman was just extremely nasty told me I had to pay for all the fees before I could my personal items. Its not my car I don't own it and I'm not getting the car out I just wanted my personal items. My work cell phone is in that car as well as my personal cell phone. Currently they are telling me I have to to get my things from a vehicle that I don't own. I don't feel this is fair, I'm a single mom just got a job and my ex is in Jail with no out date and I can't even get my personal belongings. I lost my former job due to my cell phone being in that vehicle and not being able to get it back. Thanks a lot keford....I will be sure to let everyone know not to call you! Pretty sad when one can't even gain access to retrieve personal its.s from a vehicle that they don't own or have control of. Customer service is just pathetic, not friendly at all and clearly all they care about is money. I have contacted my lawyer to find out my rights due to losing employment because keford demanded $200 for me just to get my personal items. One unhappy very angry woman. I feel as if I've been violated and stole from. Never will I use this company I would rather walk in a blizzard with no shoes before calling them.

I've (unfortunately) had to bring my cars here several times over the past 12 years and have received nothing but excellent service and work done on my vehicles, every time. Any bad reviews must be bogus and/or from impossible-to-please people. Just got in another accident and I plan to bring my car here again tomorrow!

My car was in an accident, they were first on site and towed me to their shop, I agreed to allow them to repair it. The kept me apprised of the repair all along the way. It was done when they said it would be done. Bonus! The car was detailed both inside and out, it looked better then before the accident. I waited months before I posted this review to ensure there were no mechanical issues after the repair. Highly recommended.

Had the unfortunate situation of having to use this company after an accident that left the car with 3 flat tires. The initial tow price was reasonable, but the second tow price just a mile and a half down the road was $95. I was told I would have to decide right then, because the driver was about to leave. Then after I agreed and paid, I was told it would be an hour?
As they unloaded the car at bell tire they did not have the town ramp at the right angle and they nearly tore the front bumper off. It scrapped loud and hard for at least 4-5', will need to get this checked elsewhere.
The other big concern was a closed backpack that was left in the car was opened and items from within were out in the open. Not sure if the went through it or if the vehicle was left unlocked, either way, not very happy.
I use Yelp all the time and find generally, they most recent reviews show up first. This may indicate a trend in service from this company.

This place was GREAT! After calling their 24-hour tow company, they were at the scene within 30 minutes! The driver was very friendly, and informed me of my options. I decided to leave the car at Keford for my collision repair, and the experience even exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff was so friendly and even arranged a free loaner car which is almost unheard of in this type of business! I highly recommend asking for Tom if you need an estimate - he was efficient, trustworthy, and ensured my car turned out absolutely beautiful!!!!! Highly recommend this family-owned business for collision or towing!

I was in an accident last week in which I slipped on ice and landed in a ditch/creek. The tow truck guys who came were from Keford Towing & Collision. They were respectful and did a great job. One guy told me that it'd be expensive and quoted me at $250 (it ended up being $700). He offered to tow it to Keford Collision and I agreed.
My experience with Keford Collision was absolutely terrible!!! The receptionist was terribly rude and had no customer service skills. Every time I called this is what happened: crouchy lady picks up; I ask her for an update on my car; she responds: "You know I'm really busy right now. There are a lot of cars here. How am I supposed to know off the top of my head? Hold on." She puts me on hold listening to the most obnoxious Keford collision ads that make your spine tingle. The absolute worse thing to listen to after you've been in an accident. Several minutes go by. She picks up again. "You know we're really busy around here. I don't know what's going on. There are a lot of cars like yours. Let me grab your chart." Many more minutes go by....
Finally, I get through and ask for a repair estimate. More holding, more hours, and days (at $25 of storage fee, mind you) of waiting for a call back....I finally talk to someone and am given an estimate of $4000-5000. I ask for a breakdown of charges and he won't give it to me. "I won't know until I get in there, but you know it's all body work."
I'm not such a dumb girl and quickly decide to get my car out of there. So being that they're a tow company, wouldn't you think they'd want the business of towing my car again? Nope. They refused to work with my roadside service. And when I got another tow company in there today, they gave them hell.
These are not people you want to deal with. Stay away!!
My car is now at MAACO in Garden City under the recommendation of my awesome mechanic Paul Green. I have been so impressed by their professionalism and can't speak of them highly enough.

I got In an accident and my car was taken here by default so I left it here. They seemed extra sweet and like they knew what they were saying and doing. Told me my car would take about 2 weeks or so to fix if I left it there. Two weeks turned into 3 mths and a $12,000 claimed turned into at $22,000 claim. The girl at the front Cathy really knows how to give an attitude about why the process is so delayed. Isn't it your right to ask why your car is taking forever? You need approvals and parts yet you don't inform your customers? Overall the job got done so I'll give them that ...

My car is being shipped to Hawaii for a job-related move. It had developed some rust spots that I wanted repaired before a moved to an environment that would continue to eat away at the body. I got a quote and brought my car to Keford before reading the Yelp reviews, which then made me anxious. However, I was happy to find that these reviews were not my experience at all. The office staff was friendly and helpful. The quote was accurate on both cost and time. Best of all, the work was flawless. I would recommend their service.

Do not call or allow your roadside assistance call this towing company!
My car recently broke down and my roadside assistance called Kenfords Novi Towing. When called, they said that they would pick up my car within the hour. After the hour had passed, I called Kenfords Novi Towing to ask them their ETA. They claimed they had no recollection of claiming they would pick up my car. I then called my roadside assistance who said that Kenfords had confirmed a pick up time for my car. When my roadside assistance called Kenfords to see what the issue was, Kenfords yelled at my roadside assistance and said they were refusing to come.
I am not sure why they would pick up my claim and then decide to forfeit the job.
So, only call Kenfords Novi Towing if you would like to be rudely spoken to and abandoned on the freeway with your dead car.

DO NOT USE THIS TOWING COMPANY!
I recently got into an accident in Farmington Hills. Per the usual, the local police were called. While I was giving him my report of he incident, I was on hold with my insurance carrier to receive roadside assistance. The officer saw I was on hold and kindly offered their contracted towing company, Kefords, to come tow my car so I wouldn't have to wait on hold. I asked if they would tow it to my collision shop and he said "yes". When Kefords came onsite the Kefords rep told me they would "HAVE to tow it to the Kefords personal lot" and that they could not tow it to my collision shop unless advised by my insurance company. Well, funny thing, I was on the phone with my insurance company whilst he told me this and the rep said she had never heard of that before. He said he would go back to his truck to "check with dispatch" to see if he could take it to my collision shop and would let me know. Welp, I never got the answer because he drove away without any explanation and after an hour and a half and it almost being 6 PM when most towing places close, I was back at square one thanks (or no thanks) to Kefords. Long story short, I ended up getting in touch with Bryce at Hadley's Towing in Novi and they were AMAZING! I highly recommend them and highly discourage using Kefords. AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL!

ABSOLUTLEY HORRIBLE BUSINESS, it is now Tuesday I got hit on Sunday and I kept asking to have it sent to the GM dealer like they're supposed too so it could get inspected and totaled or repaired I called five times Monday and Tuesday and they keep saying "oh it will be there this afternoon" then I'll call back and they'll pretend like you haven't spoken to them before and don't know where to take it. It is a scam and way to make money off you, you are charged everyday your car is in their lot and they intentionally make it so you have to pay more. Never using them again.
