I had to call Cook's Towing because someone parked in my parking space at my apartment complex. They were friendly, came right out, took care of the issue, and were wonderful at every step!

Nice racket they have going on. My vehicle and two others with trailers were towed from a church while we were moving our daughters into college at IUPUI. We called the number that was given to us and they gave us an address that was on Holt road. Once we arrived at their Holt road business we were told our vehicles were not towed to that location. How convenient of them. Apparently the church is monitored every hour and the great folks down at Cook's Towing come along and tow your vehicles, even if u are just unloading your kids belongings for there freshman year of college. I guess it doesn't matter that we had to use the churches parking lot to unload everything since there is no where to park in downtown Indianapolis......park in the wrong place and they will come get you.
Update:
Let's add insult to injury....just walked in and it cost my friends and I $700 cash (because they don't take debit or credit cards) to get our vehicles off of their lot. RACKET!!!!!!!!!!!! Turns out they have a "contract" with the church we were towed out of. I guarantee that the church gets all kinds of kick backs from this little scheme that they have set up. Then the towing company called the police on us because we told them that we were on to there scam, the cop showed up and he didn't really seem to concerned....in fact he acted like he had been called down there on many occasions to deal with this type of problem, I was never asked anything by the police officer, however I did hear the women behind the counter try to talk the officer into arresting us. Let's add a little more insult to injury....then we found out that the moron who loaded the truck and 20' trailer to the yard bent the trailer jack when he moved it....he forgot to put the hitch up when he pulled away. So his fix was to take a hammer to the hitch and beat on it!!!! Thankfully we caught him before he started hitting it with the hammer.
I thought I was from the sticks were rednecks and idiots are a dime a dozen. Clearly these bozos buck the city boy trend.... these people are the scum of the business world!!! Blood sucking maggots that drive around and prey on people. Nice business Cook, nice business!!!!!

I used their service twice on a two week period. The first time I had no issues. The second time the gal putting in my vehicle information was rude and would not listen. She ended up sending a larger than necessary tow truck thus charging me almost double what I paid the first time. When I called to give them a chance to correct the error, the manager was more rude than her employee and would only give me a partial credit because apparently they didn't charge me enough on the first tow. So apparently it's my fault their employees are poorly trained. Terrible way to run a business. Also, apparently their minimum tow fee is $85 even though I was quoted on the phone a price of $65 the first time I called them. Use Fool's at your own risk, they make up the rules as they go along.
