I was in a fender-bender and found out that these guys are a Certified VW repair facility, So I decided to take my vehicle here and they have nothing but the best customer service anyone could expect. Everyone on their staff was extremely friendly, even when I called almost daily to get status updates on my repair. They do phenomenal work! Cliff and Helen are always there to take your calls and are quick to respond via email. They are an absolutely amazing repair shop.

The two things that come to mind about my experience at Carriage Collision are attention to detail and great communication. They kept me in the loop on a delay that was caused by the other insurance company of the guy that hit me. This shop did a great job on my repair and I will be back!!

Carriage Collision is totally corrupt and running an illegal business. The nasty lady, the owners wife, that looks like a troll and pretends be a claims specialist assaulted me because I refused to sign their illegal paperwork when we went to get our car we never authorized them to even touch in the first place! They took it apart before our adjuster even got there! They own several businesses and have lost many lawsuits due to their unethical business practices. They are NOT a preferred shop for AAA or ANY Insurance company for that matter. They will lie, cheat, steal and assault you if you hold them accountable for their illegal actions! Repair quality is a horrid mess and will now cost six times more than what it would have before they stuck glue everywhere. Hey if you want your car put back together with glue then this is the place for you! Run!

I've had some baaad car luck lately...so bad. So on my third recent hit (people on their phones hitting me!), I took my car to Carriage Collision. Keep in mind, this was after going to the local favorite (Gustaffson Brothers) and being extremely disappointed. I couldn't deal with going to Gustaffson again who did a legit terrible job, so I went to Carriage who had done some customization work on my BF'd car and he was really pleased.
Carriage and their staff were amazing to deal with! The insurance company of the person who hit me (Mercury) was a bit annoying, but Carriage took the information and took care of all of the details for me, which I LOVED!
Carriage took their time to do an exceptional job on my car and when I went to get her, she looked amazing. Not only was the bumper completely fixed, but they did a mini interior detail and they really did what they could to give me an amazing experience. I felt like they treated my car like it was their own, which is an awesome feeling!

Seems like this place sucks for VWs.
For the actually bodywork on the outside and paint job - awesome. Really no complaints there.
However, my front end was smashed in an accident in 2008. I took it here after that accident, and they had it for about 12 days. I got it back and my AC didn't work. I dealt with it for two days and took it back. They had it for another three days. Gave it back, and the air worked for a few days and stopped working - I assume they just flushed the system and re-charged it.
Same thing happened again, I took it back a third and final time, and it was mediocre after that. It was never truly the same.
It would never blow cold air upon turning the air on - I always had to drive 50+mph to get it to blow "cooler" air.
Then it just starts blowing hot air ALL the time. Nothing I could do. Had a friend who's a car guy take off the entire front end of the car to replace the condenser, the fans, the switches, the entire lot of AC components. Only to find the condenser was still smashed. They left the same busted up part in the car. I have never been in another accident, so this was obviously not replaced as it should have been.
The air continued to not work even after my friend replaced everything. Frustrated, I finally took it back to the dealer. They called me back and said it appears my car had been in an accident, and I told them it did, albeit several, several years ago. Carriage Collision did not replace my CONDENSER, CONDENSER SWITCHES, FANS, WIRE HARNESS, OR THE SENSOR FOR THE AIR.
I wish I had known this sooner. Awful.

I really would hate to disagree with the business owner that replied to me, and I am not trying to say they are inherently wrong (because I am sure their standards are high, as they should be) - but what else could it have been? A single accident on record, and when trying to look for the problem that was still present, we see that most parts associated with the accident are busted?
I have no reason to write this if it wasn't true, especially after all this time. I am not some troll account. I was just genuinely displeased to see that none of the parts were new parts. They should have been. It's why people pay for insurance.

DO NOT COME HERE! I was in a minor car accident and it took them over two months to fix my car. The staff was very rude (with the exception of Amanda)
They consistently gave me excuses. I had to regularly call to get an update. My car still has a check engine light on. Take your car somewhere more reliable. This company is slow and they have horrible customer service.

Brought my car to this body shop after being involved in an accident. The girl at the front desk was polite and helpful. But she wasn't the person I dealt with while my car was being worked on. I dealt with the body shop manager (Carolina) who was a little abrupt and didn't keep me posted on the status of my car like she said she would. When I called to ask how the progress was going she would always answer with "I'll call you back". Usually I didn't get a call back the same day if at all. Besides that my car wasn't even ready in the time they had estimated. It was ready nearly two weeks after!! Such an inconvenience! I will say the work done on the car looked good and it was very clean when I picked it up. However it does not make up for their customer service and the inconvenience it caused.

Took a long time to get my car fixed (42 days). Practices online defamation. Did not fix my car all the way. I'm still finding issues with the lack of corrections made to the car from a year and half ago. The owner is horribly unprofessional. Be careful and document everything they say. If I had to do it over again, I would get a second opinion.

DONT GO HERE. I REGRET IT AND HERE IS WHY.
1) They did poor quality work on my brand new VW Touareg after a small accident. The paint began to peel 1 week later and the seems were significantly off from one side to another.
2) I emailed them and Helen (Management/Owner) replied. She was neither courteous and nor apologetic.
3) Helen agreed to have the errors corrected per their warrantee but refused to pay for my rental car while her company fixed what they broke. This cost to me was $100 out of pocket since my Insurance didn't want me to go there in the first place.
4) After many emails back and forth she replied with what I thought was an agreement to cover the cost of the rental car. When it came time to pay she only agreed to pay for 1 day for $25.
All this is over ~$75 more that Helen refused to pay for. $75!!!! Really Helen??? Really???
DONT GO HERE. THEY HAVE A DECEPTIVE WARRANTEE. THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM UPPER MANAGEMENT. THEY DONT STAY TRUE TO THEIR MISSION AND VISION

For body work I can't complain, for follow up and customer service I have had nothing but frustrstion!
Aug. 18th I dropped off my car to have the rear bumper fixed after being rear ended. Also to have my side view mirror replaced.
I picked up my car Wednesday the 27th, but it wasn't until later that I noticed that my front passenger seat was pushed all the way forward. When I tried to push it back it wouldn't move at all.
I called the next morning and spoke to Carolina and explained to her the situation. She told me she would call me right back, which she didn't.
I waited, hoping to hear back from her and finally called again on TuesdaySeptember 2nd and spoke to Amanda.
I told her the situation and she told me that someone would call me right back. Again no one did. I called back again the next day and spoke with Amanda again. This time she put me on hold and went to speak to someone about it.
When she came back on the line, she basically said that there was nothing they would/could do, that their detailer had probably gotten it stuck. At this point she recommended that I call a dealership and see what they could do. When I asked why I should have to fix what they broke, she said she was sorry and that was all she would say.
I emailed Helen, the owner, a couple of days ago but have yet to hear anything. I'm not holding my breath.

I had my car repaired here after my corner panel in my R32 got pushed in at a parking lot. I then returned a year later to fix a dent and they did an awful respray, had a weird texture on the roof where they taped it off. The clear kept peeling. So they would color sand and it would be fine for a month and then it would start chipping again. I returned a couple times and Helen refused to fix properly since they would have to respray.
The previous time they had to clear the roof and passenger side due to the design. This time they didn't and the job came out awful. Some VW specialist.

A problem showed up on my car almost a year after Carriage repaired it. The problem was a result of some hidden damage. To their credit, they stood by their warranty and fixed the problem at no charge to me. I am satisfied with the work they did and greatly appreciated their integrity in honoring their warranty after such a long time period.

After consulting with legal counsel, I've been informed it is my 1st amendment right " Freedom of Speech" right to post my opinion. The opinions in the review are correct and contain no false statements. I will forward you the email strings from her on how she really treats her customer and lies. One of the comments even makes reference to me having another drink. A DUI is something I had not been convicted of at the time of her writing this. - That is liable/SLANDER.. She is a horrible, mean, unprofessional owner. I can send the strings of emails to you if you;d like to see how she really treats a customer after she has their money. As for being happy (which I'm sure she'll reply to) I was just happy to get my care out of there after not having it for almost 3 months. OCTA is good, but not as good as your car.
My oil pan leaked after I picked it up, (reported 5/5) the windows leak water while rolled up and in a car wash (it actually pours out of the drivers side front door) There were white spots on the LEFT side left white. The owner has stressed that the right side of the car was never looked at, however the estimate clearly shows work done to the right side. My original question to her is why the front passenger wheel cover had not been replaced. He response is that she was never told to look. However three are items on the right that were tended to according to her invoice. .
They had my car for 2 1/4 months. During that time, every time I called I was told they were waiting on parts. My insurance agent later told me he had stopped by several times and "Helen" was never there. I paid for new tires, but there are no new tires on the vehicle. There are paint spots on the LEFT (drivers side doors that were left white and I have been instructed never to contact them, so getting warranty work is impossible. Not that I would ever go back there. She stated she had phone records. I requested copies. She never furnished them. She messed up her on time line frames with her own emails. I don't trust the work they did and I will forever wonder what they messed up.
I would avoid this place no matter what. EVER

"Dude's car got a little dinged up"
I've been driving by Carriage Collision for years and unfortunately the day came when I needed their services, but thankful for the service I received.
To sum up what happened, my 1973 Chevy Nova was hit while I was pulling out of a driveway making a left turn. Yes, left turn meaning I was automatically at fault. Since I didn't have collision coverage through my insurance (can you blame me, it's a 73 nova that's not in cherry condition...as I said The Dude's car got a little dinged up!) so I was left to do some repairs out of pocket. My main concern was my busted driver's side headlight. The housing unit was in working condition but I needed someone to instal the headlight, retaining ring, and readjust (and reshape) the headlight bezel.
Stopped by Carriage Collision and spoke with Helen and one of the repair workers and worked out a deal that I would provide the replacement parts and they would do the work for $50.00.
Dropped it off in the morning and it was ready for pick up around 12:30 PM. The repair looked better than I anticipated. They were able to take the mangled bezel and reshape it to a state in which in which it being damaged could not be seen.
The work and service at Carriage met and went beyond my expectations. I will suggest anyone looking to have some body work to their automobile done should stop by and get an estimate. If I need anything else done to my nova, they will be my first choice.

I rarely write reviews but the service at this place is amazing. Carolina and Helen were completely helpful and so nice.I was in a accident and the nissan dealer recommended this place. My car had almost twelve thousand dollars of damage and I had two deal with two insurance companies since the girl that hit me had her insurance and then the car had insurance. Carolina was really helpful when it came to dealing with the insurance companies. After 21/2 months of fighting with the insurance companies I finally was able to get my car fixed. They fixed it all with the price they quoted and no other mark ups on the price. I picked it up today and of course they were really nice and friendly and my car looks like it is new. It also runs amazing and believe me I took it for a long and fast ride because that is what you do with a 6 speed car. I am just so impressed with there work and there customer service. I would recommend them to anyone who has to get there car repaired and especially if you have to deal with insurance companies. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Carriage Collision. You guys are awesome.

I'm liking what I have experienced so far. The customer service is great. My vehicle was at European Collision Center in Norwalk, Ca and they are jokes. I remember these people from a VW e-mail as a certified VW repair facility. My insurance company called them and they made the arrangements to have a flat bed pick my vehicle up from European. They called me to let me know that my vehicle arrived and that they e-mailed me the releases. As I faxed it back they called me to let me know hat they received it and they are going to start work on my vehicle. They went over in detail of what they are going to do to my vehicle. They even found stuff that European Collision Center missed. I will update.......

Just had my second great experience with Carriage Collision and thought I'd let someone know about it.
Helen took such good care of me. She arranged for a rental car that I picked up and dropped off ON SITE. The work was done super quickly and at a very reasonable cost with lots of correspondance to let me know the status. And when I came to pick up my car, not only had it been washed, but detailed on the inside!
Their facility is very clean and attractive and the people are extremely friendly. I'd highly recommend them.

They really are the classiest! I wish more businesses operated the way Carriage Collision does. I would highly recommend this body shop! I obtained 4 estimates before deciding to go with them. After I went in for an estimate they mailed me a letter to follow up on my visit and fufilled every promise in the letter like beating another shop's quote. They were so professional and organized. They handled everything for me with the insurance company. When I got my car back it was sparkling and beautiful. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. My brand new car of course was hit. The rear driver side was pushed in and it was not driveable. I get my car serviced at surf city nissan and they recommended carriage collision. It was a long process before I was able to get my car back but more b/c of my insurance company. My car looked as good as new and drives perfectly which I was very concerned with. The paint looks perfect. The parts are all genuine which they helped me fight my insurance company for and made me aware of my insurance company trying to authorize after market parts for my car. I was able to pick up my car and leave my rental car there which was great. I hope I'm never involved in a accident again but I would go back here if I was.

My wife and I seem to be a magnet for getting rear ended as it just happened for the third time and used Carriage Collision for all three repairs. Unless you happen to know a shop that I do not, you would be nuts not to go to Carriage Collision. The repairs are flawless and fast. The paint department is perfection. THE REPAIRS AND PAINT ARE WARRANTED FOR A LIFETIME!!! Helen runs the place and she sets the bar for service right down to having rental cars waiting for you when you arrive, a wonderful waiting area with big screen TV and refreshments, and most importantly stellar service. When I picked up my car yesterday they had even detailed that whole thing including the interior! I am treated like I am shopping at Nordstrom except no grand piano darn it. Helen: I hope to never be back (if you know what I mean) but if this happens again I'll be there in a flash and keep recommending you to everybody I know.
