I got the full tire package for all four tires. The guys are quick, on point, and more than happy to explain things like im 5. I do not know anything about tires, but the guy explained everything to me honestly (I cross referenced his explination on google later). Then recently I hit a pot hole and ripped up two tires. I did not know how much the wheel insurance covered so I was scared at first, thinking I might have been cheated into paying more to have it all void by some technicality. I brought it in. Gave a quick explination. The guy looks at it, looks at my paper work, and explains that he will be neeeding my keys to swap, rotate, and align the vehicle. The only thing I payed for was for the service. I walked out with two new wheels. I will be bringing my business here more often.

I was change four tires there and replace brake pad,I need to go there for four time to have it done, 1st thime, place order, 2nd time replace front two tires, 3rd time only one rear tire have to go back, 4th time get done, I was also charged with a tire service agreement without any notify, when I found out they agree credit back, but I dont see any credit back to my account, Call them and staff was rude, and not willing to credit back and want me go there one more time, to show statement,I will not go there and will not purchase there any more

I have had the best expire here, all the workers work together and meet customer satisfaction! Not to mention work hard at what they do to get things right!
I went to a tire shop that did things incorrectly and decided to come here to discount tire where my dad came for years, and they helped me with everything!
My car that now has 297,000 miles feels like I just drive it off the lot! It handles great and is very smooth and alignment is on SPOT!!! Great and friendly workers, I won't goto another tire shop. I appreciate good honest people, I will be a loyal customer because of the wonderful service they give.

Today I went to Discount Tires Centers in El Monte for an oil change. Vic was very helpful and friendly as we were going over the different types of oils I can pick. He recommended that I go with a synthetic oil as it is the best option for my car. Overall the service was quality, fast, and easy. I will definitely return for everything else my car needs like tires, alignments, etc. Thank you Vic for being so friendly and helpful!

$15 dollars to patch a tire. They took a total of 30 minutes. As soon as I got there I was acknowledged Anthony took my car in to check where my tire needed patching. They pulled up my car on there little thingy and checked the air on all my tires. They found the nail. It was super thin and about an inch long. My car is a 2013. They said they could fix it, but that it wouldn't last, that I needed a new tire. I gave them 3 stars because Anthony, friendly and all was able to successfully fix my tire, but $15 dollars was way too much. I pay $5 dollars by my house. I just needed it fixed asap and this place was closest to my job. Never going back though and I wouldn't recommend it.

Came here today to patch a tire. I decided to come here again due to past experience but today's treatment and service that I received was just horrible. I walked in and asked if I can get one of my tires patched. The guy never even gave me a time frame of how long it was going to take. All he said was the total of how much it was going to cost, asked for my keys, and told me to take a seat. For a good ten minutes my car was still on the parking space where I left it and I asked one of the workers how long was it going to take. He replied with, don't ask me, ask the person who helped you. I kindly of shrugged off the rude statement and decided to wait a little longer. I waited a bit longer and got a bit impatient and asked for my keys. When I asked for my keys the guy who told me to ask the person who helped me told me to wait for ten more minutes. Soooo, now you know how long my car was going to take, after I wanted to take my business else where?

Worst place to have the tire serviced. I have been customer of this discount tire for almost 3 year and the service got worst as time goes by.
Today I took my car in because the tire pressure warning light went on again after having the car tires checked and balanced at this location last Friday before traveling to San Francisco the past weekend. During the trip, the pressure light went on and I took the car to the nearest discount tire center along the way and the tire pressure measured for over 50 PSI on one of the tires and the rest over 40 PSI. And this location adjusted the pressure according to my car's specification so that I can safely drive the car to my final destination.
Today the light went on again, and I went to this location to see if they can re check and find out what is the problem, whoever is at the counter ( I didn't ask for his name) reply with a very rude attitude that I have to wait for one and half hour before they can even look at my car. After that I saw the owner of the shop and asked him why my tire was previously put so much air that the pressure is almost twice higher than the manufacturer spec.
The owner started to claim that they were not the one who serviced my tire and in that conversation he even used the F word in the conversation and was yelling at me.
Trust me, this is going to be the last visit that I ever going to make to your shop. Any other discount tire center that I went to never had this kind of attitude problem. They were all very nice in treating their customers.
I am giving an one star review is because the system won't allow me to put a zero star review.
With this kind of service, this place is not worth of visiting.

Came in middle October in my Tesla as an emergency as my warning light went on as I was driving to Staples Center for a Clippers Game. Found out there was a nail in my rear passenger tire which I just replaced from Tesla Motors. They fixed it and charged me $29.95 for the repair as the tire was replaceable.
Fast forward one month later my tire light went on again and took it to Americas Tire in City of industry. Found out it was the same repaired tire that was losing tire pressure. Americas tire looked at it and said that there was no PLUG in the repair and just a PATCH and that tire was now unrepairable.
First of all America's Tires do not charge for fixing tires. They hedge their bets on you coming back to them.
Second of all Americas tires plug the tire before they patch it. I've seen them done this many times and trusted someone else to do it right.
Now I'm out $300 on another tire....

I came here with my mom and dad to help get their toyota camry flat repaired. the mechanic backed our car into another persons car. no apologies from the owner. he insisted that we did it before our mechanic touched it. i am baffled by the owners response to our situation. I will always tell my friends and family to avoid this place. i tried to get my insurance company to handle the situation but this discount tire center did nothing to cooperate. i can't believe there are still people like this around. I have reported them to the better business bureu. i can't believe this happened.

Despite reading the unfortunate experience from previous customers, I actually had a great experience at Discount Tire Center. I was provided an alternative set of tires that saved me $20.00 more than what I had originally expected to pay, the time it took for them to start on my car from when I pulled into their driveway was about 10-15 minutes. Also, the owner even remembered me from my visit last year which brought a sense of rapport as a customer.

I have been a customer of DTC for many, many years and through at least 5 vehicles that I have owned. I've been primarily patronized the Pasadena and Fontana stores. I've visited the El Monte store twice in the past two weeks. The first time the service manager informed me that it was a little too late in the day to have my tires rotated. He paired that explaination with a description of how he was too busy anyway and somehow short handed. Due to the nature of what I need done, and the nature of thier business, I can understand that. He asked me to come back another time and to do that a little earlier in the day. Fine.
I left work early yesterday and arrived there at 4pm. The same service manager told me that he was short handed and busy, but he could get me in in an hour and a half. I asked if I could just make that appointment now and I would return in an hour and a half, instead of waiting around. He said I would have to stay, and he would have to take whomever came in between that time. I can understand that policy as well.
I then asked if I can make an appointment for tomorrow. He said I could if I make it at 8a.m. I informed him I can't get out of work until 3:30, and I can be here the same time as now, which was 4pm. He became a little dismissive and raised his voice a little and said if you don't show up at 8a.m. you can't have an appointment.
So I guess that, without saying it directly, you can't make appointments at this store and it's first come, first serve only, and only within a certain timeframe. Not late in the day. Got that. I don't need any attitude, and I really just need to know that it's first come, first serve, without the attitude and the word games where I have to ask that question directly or we dance around that simple explaination and instead cryptically talk about when I can and can't have my car serviced. I've never dealt with a more rude customer service rep at DTC that this fellow. I also don't care if Tom, or Steve, called in sick today and they are short handed. Staff it up. I just want my car serviced. Someone needs to give this customer service guy a refresher course in customer service if DTC cares to retain its customer base. I can't talk to my customers like that. Neither can he.

I have been visiting Vic and the gang at Discount Tire Center since 1998. I've taken all previous and current cars there and never had any problems. The staff has extensive knowledge of tires and can get you any wheel desired (USDM, JDM, Euro) at reasonable prices. They also offer a full service shop (suspension, alignments, oil changes, etc).

I wish i could give this place negative 5 stars and i definitely would. The owner here named Vic is a Liar and Incredibly Rude !!. Like all the previous negative reviews say this establishment is a joke. I wish i saw the reviews on yelp before i bought my tires. I purchased 4 new tires from this place. The owner Vic said they were amazing tires and told me i should purchase the lifetime alignment so i wont have to pay $100 else where every time.
My first problem started when Vic said the car would be ready at 11AM. I got there at 8:30AM and dropped off my car. I returned at 11:30AM and they did not even start on my car wtf !?. Vic told me they were very busy and i went out to lunch nearby and went to the chase branch down the road. Its passed 2PM now and he says 30 minutes more. His 30 minutes turn out to be 3 hours. They finished the car at 5PM !!!. I paid them and had an argument with Vic and he didn't even give me an apology what a jerk.
My Second problem happened the following day while I'm driving on the fwy my steering wheel starts to vibrate and shake like the car is going to loose control ( i never had this problem before ). I took the car back to Vic he said my brakes were bad and my rotors were bad and they would have to replace them. I decided to bring it back the following day but instead i took it to Costco who looked at my Mercedes and said my brakes had 60% left on them and nothing was wrong with my rotors. Costco specialist said i needed wheel balance ( which Vic was supposed to do ) and my Lug nuts were not properly tightened. The Costco specialist said they had to be tightened by hand and not by a air ratchet. The Costco specialist fixed my Lug nuts and i went back to Vic to get my tires fixed.
When i went there and told him that nothing was wrong with my brakes and rotors and that they did not do a wheel balance he becomes very rude and starts yelling at me. What an a**hole how do you yell at your customers ?. He tells me they did everything right and nothing is wrong. I took my car over to Costco so i could get the Wheel Balancing done because Vic said he had done everything and would not do it again. To my surprise Costco had my same tires with $70 coupon for $190 less for all 4. At this point i was furious because not only was i lied to but now i know he ripped me off. I went back to Vic since he told me his prices were the best and they would match anyone. When i confronted this lair and told him about Costcos deal he said he would not match it and all sales were final. I called Amex up 1 minute after and filed a charge back. Amex gladly refunded me on the spot after i informed them on my situation. As i was leaving their establishment, I guess Amex called his shady business and told them i filed a charge back. He threw his drink on me and started cussing me out. I pushed him out of my face and told him if he ever threw anything on me or got into my face i would file charges. He then tries to block my car in and says i scammed him and he wants his tires back. I got in my car and drove off and went back to Costco.
To add even more to this Costco said my front 2 tires were used and were not new like the back ones. They said the front ones had noticeable wear on them even though i had only put 25 miles on them. I told the Costco specialist to replace all 4 tires and throw away the ones i purchased from Vic at Discount Tire.
The owner at this shop Vic is a Rude Thief and Scam artist ! Don't step foot in this store or any other discount tire store. Apparently it is owned by his family and they have a reputation of being con artists. Read all the reviews on yelp about this place. Stay away and go to Costco and save yourself a huge headache.

This place by far is the worst shop I've gone to. I took my car here to get an alignment because apparently he was good.. But from reading the reviews NOW, I see he has his days.. And this was my last resort since I needed one badly and my guy was booked. I told him I needed special specs when I called at 5pm and he said he could get it done. So my friend who took my car went there and he said he might not be able to do it. It was now 5:15ish and I was frustrated that he said to bring in the car.. THEN he said he will be able to do it. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about...
I get a call back at 6 with him telling me he couldn't do the fronts but he did the rear.... Ummm why did you not call me and tell me? Now I have to pay?? What the fuck is the point of doing the rear and not the fronts. The fronts were what I was more worried about. So he ended up charging me 50 and I asked him what he could do about the front. He said he would charge me an additional 90 dollars. NINETY DOLLARS. for the front?! Are you out of your mind? You tell me you know what you're doing and you end up pulling this crap on me. Oh and to add, my buddies said they were reving my car like crazy... Pretty upset about this place. I highly do NOT recommend this shop to anyone. And I will never come back. These people will just pull a fast one on you guys.

Had a great experience here, Vic was very helpful and courteous . I brought my Ram 1500 in to get a new set of tires. I asked for a less expensive tire and they made a mistake and put a more expensive set on. Because they were so busy Vic said he would eat the difference and I could keep them or I could bring the truck back later and he would put the set I wanted on. I decided to keep the tires they put on and will do business with them for my other cars when the time comes.

I've been coming to Discount Tire for the last 13 years (and 5 different cars) and the service is still great. The business has been around for over 20 years and many people keep coming back due to their great service. Don't get me wrong though-- they are not here to wait on you hand and foot. They are here to give it to you straight without any fluff. Personally, I prefer a transparent transaction like this without the fluff and feel for unnecessary upsells. If additional work is needed, they'll let you know.
Pricing:
The pricing is very competitive. The positive actual is in the lifetime balance and tire rotation. In the long run, this will help you preserve your tires and keep the ride comfortable. In addition, you have a lifetime alignment available for purchase as well. With these, the value is actually incredible. Many people look at the up front cost of the tires without considering how things work out in the long run.
Wait Time:
I'm the type to drop off my car and pick it up in the afternoon. If you do intend to wait, I would recommend calling ahead to ensure your tires are in stock. This will avoid any time you need to wait for a warehouse delivery as it may be able to be done ahead of time. The early morning is usually the best time to go in as well as things don't get hectic until the later morning.
TL;DR: If you like up front service without all the sales pitch fluff, this is the place the go.

Recently went to this shop to get one of my wheels from Japan mounted & balanced. So at first their friendly in service but when their jobs is done. Real negative behavior. They stretch my wheel some where I couldn't see it till I got home. Once I noticed it I went back & told them they stretch it, they started blaming me that I did it. Why would I do such a thing to a custom made wheel that are pricy? That is such a stupid thing to even do in the first place. So they blamed me the whole time & didn't give my money back or offer to buy me a new one. Worst place to ever go to for service. I highly don't recommend this place at all & doesn't deserve any stars or customers. "YOU BEEN WARNED"

I don't know why I am writing a review after all the people who have been on here say the same thing I am going to say but here it goes anyway.
I went to this shop after having a blow out on the freeway. I asked for them to replace both back tires on my Acura. The guy told me it should not take long.....after an hour of waiting my car was done...(or so I thought) and I paid them $373.00 and left. I got about a block away and heard a clunking noise. I thought it was something left loose in the trunk so I pulled over and the jack was left a little loose. I got back in my car and drove down the street and the noise continued so I turned around and went back.
When I got out of the car I went to the right side because that is where it appeared to be coming from. These idiots left every lug on the right tire loose. I went inside and asked them if they were trying to kill me as I was headed to the freeway.
The guy acted like I was bothering him and said I will be with you in a minute.....great customer service. Then after he puts my car on the lift and tightens everything he decides to blame me for damage done to the lugs saying the spare was put on wrong. It was all I could do to not choke him....I owned an Automotive Business for 6 years and I would never treat my customers like this. I told him he was out of his mind and his guy not tightening the lugs is what damaged the threads on the stud. He then wanted to argue but handed me a $25.00 discount coupon for an oil change. I just laughed at him and said what in the world would make you think I would ever come back here?
Sorry such a long story but Consumers need to beware of these types of shops. I will NEVER come here again and I hope that no one else does either. These guys need to go out of business.......Please pass on to everyone you know.

Don't let the store name foul you! These guys ripped me off! I got the cheapest tires and they charged me over $100 per tire! I went into get my tires rotated and it took nearly an hour, JUST to get my tires rotated! Are you kidding me?!?! On top of it all, every time I took my car to get my tires rotated, they ALWAYS tell me that I need to fix something! When I got my tires ripped, I called into verify my warranty, the guy was rude and not helpful. He asked for my mileage and said my warranty was not covered anymore because I went over the mileage but still asked me to bring it in so they can check them out and then hung up on me! I don't think he cares about customer service at all. I really don't want to give them any stars! I can't believe some of these reviews from other users giving them 5 stars! Don't bring your car there unless you're willing to spend more money and deal with rude workers! Take your car to America's Tire. You can check their reviews to confirm how good they are!

I used to come here for a lot of my suspension/wheel/tire needs. They have very good pricing and the actual workers are fairly competent.
Problem is Vic the owner. He is rude, passive aggressive, and a liar. You always have to be on guard about him to make sure he doesn't rip you off or it takes haggling to get him to the low price. The last straw is when they broke a rotor because a screw was stripped. I paid extra to have them get it out without hammering it out but Vic didn't bother relaying it. Wouldn't give me a discount so i just charged it back on my credit card. Won't be returning

I bring a new set of rims purchase online and just need to buy tires from them and alignment work. The owner/manger put a set of used tire on it. I use to come to this discount tires a lot and told friends about it, but the quality of service definitely changed. You have to catch Vic on a good day for him to give you a good deal or a day where sales have been low.
He offered me 17" rims plus tires for $650 if I paid cash and the deal is only good right now.
If you're looking for good prices and don't care about the brand name than come here, but if you're looking for name brand tires that are good, just go to Costco.

I had the unfortunate experience of finding a delightfully large nail in my tire just as I arrived into town. I showed up here about an hour and a half before they closed on a Thursday and walked in. The guy there greeted me upon arrival and I explained my situation. He had my car pulled up immediately and then gave me an honest breakdown of the price.
Honestly, the guys were helpful and easy to talk to. We were joking around and I was out of there in time to visit my family.

An elderly friend of mine that has limited english got ripped OFF! He went there because he already paid for lifetime alignment, but they wouldnt align his care because he had balding tires. This places is by far the most unfriendly and unprofessional place I have been to in my life. I took my car here due to I realized my right front tire has a big bubble on it before I go to work this morning. I talked with the Discount Tires representative over the phone (as I purchased the my tires from one of the Discount Tires locations) and he suggested me to go to this particular shop as it is closest to me. I went into the shop and asked them to contact the Discount Tire representatives I discussed with prior of visiting the shop, so they will be able to work out the warranty I still have on the tires. The technician refused to do so and said the bubble on the tire was due to my driving. And he was extremely rude and inattentive to discuss with me.
little background: I did not get into any accidents or drove on crazy dirt road during the time I have this set of tires, plus I parked my car in garage at home and at work, therefore it cannot be due to weather damage.

I used to go to the Whittier store until it closed and so I have been coming to this El Monte store for the past year or so. I must say, despite all the other negative reviews, I have had a pretty good experience each time (3-4 total visits with 2 different cars). They do the work as promised, point out work I may need in the near or mid future (e.g., brakes are okay for now, but may need service next visit; start thinking about tires, etc.), and charge a far -- but not bargain-basement -- price. Generally, I do let them know that they can keep the car all day if need be as I tend to drop off in the morning and pick up when they close and so I'm never in any rush. I'll keep coming here.

Have been going to Discount Tire Center and Vic for over 7 years, my wife even longer. Haven't had a single bad experience there, hence my surprise about the other reviews. Vic has been very helpful from the get-go, always giving us his best deal and also providing valuable tipps here and there. Have been taking 4 cars on a regular basis and whilst having to take a car in itself is always a dreary thing, it's good to know that I'm being well taken care of. I have purchased new tires with lifetime alignment for my mini van and I have taken it in after every oil change and tire rotation to have the alignment done and no charge; as stated when I purchased the service originally. Also when I got nails in my tires they fixed them immediately without an additional cost. Vic is very kind, straight forward, and willing to help save money on products and services. There is no hassle or pressure on buying new service or products. They do notify if they see a potential repair that needs to be done and by when it should be done. They do not pressure you into purchasing unneeded service; I recommend this spot for all vehicle maintenance, products such as tires, and for repairs.

I purchased a set of Enkei wheels about 6 months ago through Vic, the manager. Gave me a great deal! I recently had a nail in one of my tires so I took it back to the shop. They took care of the patch for free and rotated my tires. Unfortunately, my rim got scratched in the process. They usually do a very good and careful job with the wheels but I guess it's my unlucky day. However, Vic offered to have the wheel repaired. The repair came out great and shows No signs of the damage. Good to know that they will back up their work. Ask for Vic if you go there. He is very knowledgeable and will take care of you.

But NAZO (their worker) is chill and understands customer situations. NOTE TO SELF: Only let him work on your car because the other guys are clueless and will do anything necessarily stupid to make it work. i.e taking the wrong set of wrenches or sockets and trying to hammer it into the nut to make it work (WHILE THE NUT IS NOT STRIPPED AT ALL!!!!)
But just to clarify why i wrote that, here goes:
Their owner VIC is a DICK and always wants MONEY MONEY $$$. You can go in for ANYTHING and he'll tell you something is wrong BUT we'll fix it for X amount. If you buy their lifetime alignment for LOWERED cars, prepare to get FUCK IN THE ASS every time you go in because he'll pull shit outta his ass to make sure you spend MORE MONEY before he even gets you on the alignment rack.
He'll also make sure to go the extra mile to confirm you can not touch anything on your car after you buy their lifetime alignment, so make sure you put every thing on before you buy that "deal". i.e camber kits.
He also said to me he wont do alignments until you get ALL NEW TIRES because we need to "align it with all the wheels on the car"... uh WTF does that mean? You don't need to align each wheel front to back because YOU WORK ON EACH WHEEL SEPARATELY! and ALIGN IT SEPARATELY! (again, only let NAZO work on your car if you're lowered).
I like talking to customers that are waiting for their cars to be serviced because they always tell me they only went here for the last resort.
Never go for an oil change here, even if they offer specials because another customer specifically said to put in 5w-20 and they gave him a totally off-brand oil that wasn't even 5w-20. Good thing we caught that because we stood outside to watch our cars being serviced. NEVER SIT IN THEIR OFFICE BECAUSE THEY WILL FUCK YOU OVER! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
But since I need to go back here every so often to make sure my shit is aligned... I have no choice BUT YOU DO!
BTW, FUCK WHATEVER LANGUAGE THEY SPEAK WHEN YOU'RE NOT LOOKING CUZ IT SOUNDS FAGGISH!
AND VIC, IF YOU'RE READING THIS, YOU'RE A DOUCHE AND YOU DON'T TREAT CUSTOMERS RIGHT. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT DOUCHE MEANS, THEN GO SPEND SOME TIME TO LOOK IT UP INSTEAD OF RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!

While I feel bad for all the people who had bad experience servicing their cars at this place, my personal experience at this shop was fairly positive.
I originally came to this shop to have my tires replaced. Their prices were very decent (my previous set of tires came from Just Tires, and they were very expensive & the guys there were very pushy about selling me services), and they gave me a special deal on alignment ($50) because of the tire purchase. I know I needed alignment (and have been putting it off), so I let them do it. Vic was not pushy about selling me these services, and he didn't claim that I needed them - he simply told me that these deals were available.
The service was very prompt and completed within the estimated time. After learning that they do full services, I asked about a few repairs my dealer told me I needed (an engine mount was broken, and the power steering pump was leaking and needed to be replaced). The quote I got back from Vic was very good - about 40% cheaper than what the dealer was going to charge (basically, aside from the cost of the parts, they only charge $100 for labor for each of the repair I needed).
I ended up having my car serviced here. Again the repairs were completed in a timely manner and there were no unexpected issues or ccharges.The only thing is the steering pump was making a whiny noise (Vic said it was due to air bubbles in the system), and told me to come back in a week if the noise doesn't clear. After a week, the noise was still there so I went back - turned out the O - rings on the pump needed replacing as well. Vic promptly ordered the parts and had them replaced (took a few hours for the parts to arrive from the dealer), but the noise was gone and the car has been driving very well since.
Like I said, I am very sorry about the people who had bad experience with this shop, but I feel I received good service here, and will be happy to recommend this shop for their cheap prices and timely service.

I hope this is a good outlet to warn you guys about these jerks, especially the owner Vic.
Some years ago, and the memory is still fresh in my head, I decided to order some wheels thru him for my NSX. He said he knew the right offsets and specs for my car. I asked for the wheels to come in black chrome and he said they've been ordered. Well the wheels come in time but I could tell they were the wrong color so I ask Vic about it and he says they are black chrome when in fact right on the box it says super chrome which is white chrome. So then he says he'll get back to me on it. In the meantime, we keep the wheels mounted on the car and I drive off.
So here's the lowdown. Later on I discover the wheel rubbing against the brake caliper. So much for knowing the offsets Vic you f'n genius. Without telling me, he inserted some non-hub centric spacers. They knew when they mounted the wheels that they didn't fit so without letting me know they put spacers on. Thanks you jerkoff.
Then I find out through the wheel company that they refunded him $300 to give to me just to be nice even though he ordered the wheels in the wrong color. Vic tells me he will give me back $200 when they gave him $300. What a great guy! I keep coming back for months asking him about the money and he keeps saying he'll mail me the check. He never mails it so I try another tactic and try to get him to order some Bilstein shocks for me so I could at least get part of it back. Over a year passes and he never orders the shocks for me. In addition he promised to buy some H&R hub centric spacers for me so the wheel wouldn't rub on the brake caliper and this never happens either.
It's been over 5 years and I haven't gotten one thing back from this a-hole. All these broken promises and flat out lies. Cheating and trying to give me a $200 refund while he pockets $100 of it. The wheel company had nothing nice to say about him either.
Stay away from this shop. Vic is the most dishonest person I've ever met in my life. I haven't gotten any compensation for his mistakes and he ended up with an extra $300 profit from it. Where's my money and spacers VIC???

Top line Yokohama best prices ever at $668.00 for mount+balance and alignment. Got their credit card and received 6 months free interest so I can pay each month without interest. Best thing about it, I got to rediscover this place, they sponsored race car drivers and professional drifter like those in JAPAN that drift for magazine covers and test drive cars. Not inclusive is that for every 5,000...I get free tire rotation and a multitude of free benefits. Also just one thing, all the negative reviews look fake because if all the things were true the corporate offices would get involved and this store would be sued a billion times over for negligence. Call and get a quote. They have the best prices.

It's all about the money for this place, Took a tire in to be repaired do to a punture from a nail. Without hestation they say " I don't think it can be repaired " , they take the tire off and off course say we can't repair it , but we have Goodyear tires on sale today ! , No thanks, take the flat tire to another shop in Irwindale, ask them to fix the flat and it's done in 10 minutes, no problems from the repair. It's obvious they don't want to uphold their warranty to repair flats for free and would rather make a sale. I will buy somewhere else just because of this incident

I've been working with Vic and Anthony since 1999. In terms of pricing with tires he is competitive and more so with whats in stock. This location is one of the few places that is capable of computer wheel alignments on lowered cars (applies to lifetime alignments; you might want to take advantage)... 2 alignment racks on the premises.
On Saturdays, Vic will turn customers away an 1hr prior to closing. The place does get extremely busy on Saturdays. I just been turned away last Saturday. : (

The Customer Service Sucks! Rude from start to finish. I took my Tire (1) in at 11:30am. Was first told to come back at 2:30pm then when he looked at his watch he subtracted an hour (1:30pm). When I returned I was pointed to where my tire was ( in the work area) and I had to get it and roll it out of the bay area. I should of slipped or hit my head on a hoisted car. Rude son of B**ch! NEVA AGAIN!.

Don't buy anything from this place, I bought some work wheels waited 3 months for my wheels, He told me what my fitment and everything so my wheels won't rub, well when it finally arrived put everything it damn wheels rubbed like crazy went back to him he said oh well, wtf? He said to shave my fender, so I won't recommend this place to anyone, he also told me that I need tmps so stupid me order the tmps too, turns he didn't even use it all he did was took off from my old and and put it in my new wheels, do not go there! They're a ripped off.

I wish there was ZERO stars option. Today, they broke my cup holder. I told Vic the manager, and he says that his worker told him he didn't break it. ( I know for a FACT he broke it, I took it in fine, left with a broken cup holder that costs $150 from Lexus). He kept saying I broke it on accident, etc. He didn't want to give me anything. He didn't offer any solution at all. The way he talked down to me was WAYYY ridiculous! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! He doesn't deserve any business with that kind of attitude (CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG at Discount Tire Center El Monte).

I come here a lot because they have the best prices on MOST of the tires they have. If you want great prices on brand name tires, this is the place to go!
Why 3 stars? Well, quite frankly, one of their employees is sort of sloppy. I always watch them to make sure nothing bad happens.

Same as my other review about this shop on here. I wish there was a negative star given on this site; or perhaps a "DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!" WARNING.
This is not a review for those who are looking for a great tires or an alignment shop. I am going to be as honest as i can without going over any site rules.
I've bought a 3 year alignment plan at this shop 2 years ago. I found a coupon on the company's web site stating that i would get a 20% discount. As i was about to check out and pay, i present the coupon to the owner and his semi smile went into a down right pissed off look. He was not pleased to see a coupon and my services went down hill. I was rudely taken care of and not prioritized correctly. I though to myself that it would be fine and next time when i go back it would be a lot better.
I was wrong! The next time i went back was a year later and he took my car in. He made me wait for 2 and a half hours just to let me know my tires were too worn to be aligned. (all this time he was a jerk and could care less as to what you have to think of him.)
I just went again today after getting some new tires about 5.5months ago. This time he walked up to me after i parked my car and asked what did i want. I told him i had a 3 year plan and wanted an alignment. After that he said my tires were too worn to be alignment. He said i needed to get some new tires and he would do my alignment right away. (i want to include that he didn't even check my tires to know they are worn) I asked him what were his prices and he quoted me $254 for all 4 with all services. I said I'll check around and get back to him on it.
After i said that, he quickly and rudely added "If you do get tires from anywhere else but me, I'll be sure to make you wait 5 hours before you can get an alignment." He concluded that he can match any prices I'll get at any other shops.
This is my experience with this shop. I am not the only one with a horrible experience. My brother-in-law had a similar experience and so did my friends.
I DO NOT, and i repeat DO NOT!!!!!! recommend this shop at all. They are rude and thinks that they are the only one qualified to do the job. I would rather pay more at another shop to get tires and an alignment before i come back to this shop.

Ok, This place doesn't even deserve 1 star, i would give then -100 if i could. I agree 100% with Bradley P. down there. The same thing happend to me but worse.
I went to buy some wheels for my TL-S and a-hole VIc said he was professional on wheels so i trusted him and i regret it so much. I asked him if i would rub and he said no problem for sure. When i got the rims, one of the SPEC stickers were gone. I ordered a 9.5" width rim and he gave me a f-ing 8.5"!!!!!
So i went to ask him why they look smaller than 9.5" and heres the classic: he said that every rim has a different measuring method. That is so BS!!
He also purposely did not write the rim spec on the invoice
he scammed my money! and to cover up his scam, he put the wrong tires (245) on my wheels to make them look bigger. But the funny thing is, I found out that the box of the wheels says 8.5" width and he says he can sell a lot of the same wheels the same day so it can get mixed it. WTH!!!! I bought expensive wheels, $500 each!! So he does not have that good business or he wouldnt be driving his f-ing base subaru.
The workers scratched my car while installing suspensions and they broke my back seat lock. They dont even know how to install suspensions!! I brought my own koni suspensions and the suspension kept giving out screeching noises but they said it was my parts problem. NOn-sense!!! i bought them new with box. I went to a REAL professional shop and they helped out within 1 hr and they said it was discount tire center's problem. DTC didnt even know anything.
Here is the scam process:
1- 9.5" rims became 8.5" width rims, never got any money back
2- I brought my own Koni new suspensions but Vic said his H&R springs will fix all the problems and he tricked me into buying them.
3- My car rubbed until now the fender pops out and the paint all fell off.
4- I bought rear camber kit to tell Vic to help me install and he said it was garbage.
Vic said I need to change his Eibach camber kit for front and rear but it didnt fix anything. So he scammed me again into buying the camber kit. STILL rubbing becuz he gave me the wrong tire size to cover his scam!
He scammed me at least $1000 total, and i contacted BAR and BAR says DTC would contact me to fix my fenders and exchange me a right size tire but Vic never gave me any calls.
Just DONT go there, dont even step near there unless you know you have enough knowledge to challenge his scam. They are not professional and they don't know anything about cars!

Total crap service from this location. I have a lifetime alignment I bought a year ago and they tried to charge me an additional $70 for another alignment even though I have free for lifetime. Made up a BS excuse then asked me to never come back to redeem it at their location.
I'm happy with the service from the Discount Tire Center in Santa Ana, but this one gave me bad customer service and tried to take my money.
They do attempt to sell you and they do twist the truth.
I would choose a different location.

The place a little busy when I got there, but the service manager I met with was frank and honest with me in terms of estimation of time and the amount of work required to do my 4-wheel alignment.
The technician that worked on my car was also kind enough to show me what he was doing as he performed the work.
There was some attempted selling after the alignment is done for new tires, but they weren't pushy.
I'd go there again for my future alignment needs.

i would never go this place again. when i bought the tires i was told that flats would be repaired at no charge. when i took my car in the owner vic was so fucken rude. He said he never toll me that repairs were free. I did not mind if i had to pay , but he has a fucked up attittude. i dont see how he is in bussiness. Do not go there.

Don't go!!! Rip customer off!!!! Got a set of 4 tires for my car, confirmed the price will be the same as price listed online. But they still over charged by for $ 70 more. Told me tires can run up to 45,000 miles, but the Website stated 30,000 miles.
