I hate to sound so negative about a small, indie business, but I dropped my bmw off for an oil change and the following is what I experienced: - oily handprints left all over the hood, bumper and wheel wells. - fresh scratch on back left wheel well, as if it was scraped on something or someone with a buckle or tool was leaning on it. - quoted me 110, charged me 120. - nearby certified service center and dealer quotes 85 for same service. again, hate to say this about the underdog but, foul play sirs, foul play.

Jim and his tech are great guys. Genuinely nice gentlemen who really care about their work.
Jim owns a TDI himself so I trust him with mine. A great alternative to the VW dealership who generally charge almost twice as much as these guys. More importantly the quality of work performed here is easily better than the dealerships.
I went to 3 dealerships over the course of 18 months and they were all unable to identify a problem I was having with my Jetta TDI. A faint knocking noise during acceleration. One visit to these guys and they were able to tell me it was my front left axel that was slightly bent. FINALLY fixed! The dealership was tightening some screws in my TRUNK and telling me that was my problem! Seriously??
Skip the dealership guys...serious danger there. They can actually cause more harm. Instead bring your german car here to Jim. He's going to be honest and straight forward with you.

Had a great experience getting my AC fixed in my VW Passat. Jim is terrific, he didn't even want to charge me at first! Ultimately after going through a lot of issues he charged me less than half what the Volkswagen dealer was asking. We'll be bringing our Audi here for repairs too.

I like this place for the hard jobs. Jim can figure out what is wrong and get it fixed, when it stumped another mechanic. By the way, don't use the message thing on their web page; I don't think anyone reads it. Phone is the way to go.

This shop is great. Jim, the owner, was upfront and accurate with his quote vs. the final price. Needed brakes and rotors on my 2011 Audi A4 2.0T (my fault on the rotors since I waited too long) and he got it done in 4 hours at a very reasonable price vs the dealer. I was able to get a ride to and from the shop and my car is back on the road driving great. You get a good sense that Jim's passion aligns with career, and the shop itself is actually really cool tucked away in its own secluded area. Thought I was in a Wes Anderson movie for a second. I digress. His son in law, Oscar, works him as well and I got a chance to converse. It's a family owned shop and you get that sense. I would highly recommend this shop for Audi/German car repairs. Quality, reasonable prices, and knowledgable staff. They would have even washed my car if it hadn't been raining. Love it. Thanks Jim!

These guys have saved me thousands in unnecessary replacement of systems that the other guys didn't want to bother to repair. Jim is a straight shooter, the pricing is fair and the work is always pristine. I would not take my Mercedes anywhere else.

I found this place 2 years ago when one of my coils busted, I had the coil replaced and spark plugs done at a very fair priced compared to the dealer and I haven't been back to the dealer since. I bring my car in regularly for general maintenance, they do very good work at a fair price, I highly recommend them.

I had a wonderful experience bringing my late model VW van to this repair shop. I was greeted by the owner and he is a very nice and knowledgeable person that appears to really love German cars, not just someone who owns a shop for a living. The pricing was reasonable for a small shop, but the service made me feel respected and trusting of the crew. What was nice is that I just had a small issue with a door seal and they treated me like I was a customer bringing in more money.
The shop is real clean and organized, which is a sign of not just how they do business but I think shows the mentality of the crew. For me it's just a VW, nothing special, but you get a feeling like it means a lot to them regardless of how fancy the car is. There were some real nice cars in there and I did not feel neglected.

I've been to Superstar of German Cars twice and have been extremely happy. Both times I called last minute and they took care of my VW bug right away. Jim is friendly and very knowledgeable- he really knows what he's doing.
They were able to quickly figure out the problem (which was caused by another shop) and then they fixed it for free! To top it all off, they washed my car for me. My car was so dirty and I had been meaning to get it washed; it may not seem like a big deal, but it was so helpful and VERY much appreciated.
I highly recommend Superstar!

went over to get a headlight replaced on my 2008 audi a4. the guy there was really cool about it - it was a 5min change, and as the owner pulled up, they didn't charge me anything. that's a grand gesture that makes me really want to do business with these guys in the future.
i've been searching for a new mechanic now that my warranty is over and i'm happy to not be taking it into rusnak audi.
i can't wait to actually take my car to this for some work and write a real review!

Jim has worked on several of my vehicles for many years and he has always taken great care of me. Many times, if the repair was a minor one, Jim only charged me for the parts. He goes out of his way to take care of business. I love this guy!

What a great job! Jim, the owner took time to explain in detail exactly what was wrong with my car. Gave me honest and direct answers....No Bull here. To top things off he is a Pastor. Great work and great service with honesty and integrity! Highly Highly would recommend to anyone who needs a great deal with high end workmanship!

My experiences with this shop....when I arrived at the time the shop opens, Jim (owner) was already out for coffee. When I called during the day a couple times, he was out for coffee. The person who assists him in the shop was unable and/or unauthorized by Jim to assess a car problem and provide an estimate when a car is brought in. A simple job promised within a day did not get done. Jim "rags" on the work any other mechanic has done on the car's engine. My most recent experience was calling to see if a particular job could be done and requesting a quote. I was asked why my regular mechanic could not do the job (he did not have a particular specialized tool he thought he might need). The response from Jim was that he did not want to work on the car and he hung up. Rude, unprofessional, slow, and overpriced.
