The only car repair shop I would send a friend to. They don't put people off, or rip people off. Good ol' "southern hospitality", unlike their neighbors shop. They also own a beautiful & friendly dog who always greets me.

My car is making a strange noise and giving off heavy vibrations when I reach a certain speed on the freeway. Shortly after this began my check engine light came on. I took my car to these awesome people and their diagnosis for the engine light declared it to be the crankshaft. They said nothing else was seriously wrong with my car and were able to fix it up nice and fast. Today my car is still making the noise and vibrations and Is also giving off a burning smell when the vibrating happens. I called them up and they happily offered to take a second look at it and I'll gladly take it back to them. They are amazing men and I really enjoyed their service. I give 4 stars to be honest. I was told that there were no other problems and that things were fixed but that noise and vibration was still there. EDIT: I came back and they squared everything away. The problem ended up being something completely different on a whole other section of the car. Something no one would have found where the check engine light indicated the originally problem to be. I'd definitely recommend this place to any and everyone nearby having car trouble. They always have the cheapest prices. I moved farther away and I still go to them because people in my area charge a decent price but it never beats Hanna and Meinders

This auto shop is fantastic. Appointments are easy to make, the diagnose is quick and accurate. The repairs are done in a very timely manner. Steve (owner) and Robert his assistant, are extremely fine people to deal with. They are very knowledgeable and are just wonderful people to deal with.

This is a great place to get your car repairs done. He is priced fairly, and you get your car back when he says you will. The dealer had said I need all my fluids changed and that I needed front and rear brakes. He changed my front brakes and changed my brake fluid for less than the dealer said for just my front brakes would have cost at the dealers. He also said my rear brakes were good for another 10,000 miles, and he would check my other fluids then. Honest, timely and reasonable. Those are great qualities for your mechanic to have!

We have been going to Hanna & Meinders for several years. They are honest, reasonably priced and stand behind their work. They give accurate estimates and are great about explaining the nature of the problem and the cost involved. I cannot recommend Steve and the other mechanics highly enough! They have done great work on both my 2004 Nissan Murano and my 1967 Ford Mustang.

Finding a trustworthy, competent repair shop is always difficult, especially when your car will not start and you have no idea what is wrong with it. This repair shop has amazing service and a very personable staff. (And the best dogs!! RIP Bandit!) They diagnosed my car problem in a short amount of time and quoted a fair, accurate price to complete the work. Steve said my car would be ready around 1:30pm, so when I got a call from him at 12:45pm saying my car was ready, I couldn't believe it! I have referred my family and many friends to this business and they all have had fantastic service. Take your vehicle to Hanna & Meinders....you will be glad you did!

My family has used H&M for almost 40 years. I can call them with my dumb questions, and they have a great sense of humor, appropriately priced and fast! Steve and Robert know their cars and are definitely from the old school crowd of trustworthy, quality mechanics! The only place to take your vehicle in Sacramento and walk away happy!

So hard to find a trustworthy repair shop but this place is amazing service and personable staff! I came here to fix an issue that no other shop could seem to diagnose. They diagnosed accurately and returned my vehicle faster than expected. I now go to them for all of my routine maintenance and highly recommend them to everyone! It was so refreshing to deal with knowledgeable and honest people for a change!

I'm not a big fan of spending money on car repairs. But when my car wouldn't start and I had to find a shop this is where I ended up. I was waiting for the tow truck when I stopped a couple walking out of the grocery store I was stuck at. I assumed they lived in the neighborhood and asked for a recommendation. They didn't hesitate to drop the name Hanna & Meinders. I'm so glad they did! Super quick turnaround time, very friendly service and competitive rates. If you live in or around the Sacramento/Pocket/South Sac area you must try this place next time you need work done on your car.

Honest Mechanic! What can i say? This is where Oxymoron does not apply. I just had the most pleasant experience at this place. A lot of folks around my Neighborhood are intimidated by driving to S. Sac. Mention Franklin Blvd and they start to shake in their boots.
Please go here! Roman is so honest and probably to a fault. I told him that my check engine light was on and i needed a 100k service on the SUV. Also, told him that i burn oil, yet no leaks. He went on to explain that this does occur and it's not abnormal and that If there isn't a leak he will not change any gasket. He was almost certain that I didn't need any work regarding the oil. I went ahead and did my tuneup and he only charged me what he said he was going to do. I told him that my wife was driving to midwest this summer and I needed the SUV in perfect running condition. He went to tell me that any Napa place will backup any work he has done and I should feel reassured that all will go well with her trip.
I asked him on 3 occasions on any extras and just said no no and no. I'm just so not used to a Mechanic being this honest. My peeps in Landpark and other parts of Sacramento - go to this shop and it's okay to send your girlfriends, wives and daughters to this guy -they won't get ripped off!
An honest mechanic that isn't trying to upsell and do unnecessary work on your vehicle! Wow! So pleasant and his pointer is a very behaved dog.
Lastly, he also gave me the best advise about replacing Transmissions and Engines. Hopefully, I won't have to do it, but I know where to go for all of my work on SUV's.
