This place is awesome! I brought my car in for an awful noise that was happening when I was braking and was afraid it would be an expensive fix. The owner told me that the brakes I had in my car were cheap and wearing unevenly and that's where the noise was coming from. Guess it doesn't pay to get a cheap service when the parts are poor quality and wear out so fast :-/ He replaced my brakes with much a better quality product and even showed me the wear on my old brake pads. He didn't try to up-sell me on anything I didn't need and as a young female I really appreciated his honesty and integrity. My car sounds great; I feel safer; and I will definitely be back for anything else my car needs. Thanks A&B! Oh, and the waiting room is very nice. A clean and tidy waiting room with comfy seats and hot coffee is a definite bonus :)

I brought my car into A&B German Car Care recently for a/c repair and right away I found the owner Mike to be super nice and knowledgeable. After I gave a brief description of my a/c issue, he walked me through possible causes and repair costs and I was delighted to see they were competitively priced. I didn't have time to bring the car in the morning so I dropped the car off the night before using their nifty earlybird drop box. The car was done by 3 PM and I swear my a/c now feels COLDER than when I first drove the car off the dealership lot many years ago! On top of everything, they saved me over $1500 from what the dealership wanted to charge. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Mike took really good care of me. He answered my phone call with a few minutes in the day to spare, A&B let my car be towed up and dropped off the same day, and it was ready within 24 hours. Not only did he fix my car, but called and offered to do the necessary routine service on it, as it was due - had not even thought of that and more than a fair deal since he had already fixed my car's transmission. I highly recommend A&B German Car Care.

Took my Audi A4 in because it was making a loud noise under the hood. Kinda scary because I use my car a lot for my job and I need it. Had it towed into A&B and Mike stopped what he was doing to come out and take a look. Turns out it was my fan belt,I really appreciate the way Mike took care of me and I will definitely go back the next time I need something done on my car.

This place is great, went because of yelp reviews, was not disappointed at all! My BMW 750LI driver door has soft close and it was acting weird past week and stopped working, it finally locked up and I could not open door from inside our outside. I brought this in to look at that and take care of a few other things like my voltage issues among others. Mike told me this was a bad problem and they may need to rip the door panel off from the inside, I expected this, I've seen horror stories about this problem, drilling the door lock, etc. He said they will try their best not to damage the panel (very complex door panel with lots of wood, leather, etc.) he said i they did he could find me one cheap to replace it if needed. I also had him check the battery since I bought at Walmart last year and knew this was not acceptable, but worth a shot with price.
Mike and his tech's were able to get the door open and needed to replace the soft close assembly and did not damage the panel at all, which is amazing, no idea how they got this panel off without door open, I've removed i myself before and very complex even with door open, I knew the soft close part was very pricey, but he said this was all-in-one unit, the battery needed to be replaced with the correct type and programmed for the car, he cleared all my faults and codes, and the door opens now perfectly and closes automatically. He was very informative and I felt like I was being treated fair, the work they did was very difficult and I was only charge for what I thought was fair. The car has 102K miles, so I expect a few expensive repairs, this wasn't cheap, but compared to a BMW deal, I would say I saved east $600. I'll be back, said I need a 100K oil change and a few other things, prices he quoted were fair, these are my new go to guys. I did a repair to a sensor and Mike was nice enough to reset the codes on the computer for me no charge. Save your money and go to these guys first, nice shop too, clean and Mike is great!

Excellent place to take your German Auto! Highly knowledgeable, highly skilled and will save you A LOT of time, money and headaches compared to taking your car to the dealership and pretty much anywhere else for that matter. Mike saved me over $3,000 for a catalytic converter bank replacement and couldn't be happier with how well my car performs now and as a satisfied customer. They go the extra mile to save you money while delivering the top notch work expected for these types of vehicles. I have full confidence in the services performed here when I take my VW in regularly for maintenance. I love the coffee in their nice, clean lobby too! Best shop in town.

This place is fantastic!
I discovered them last year and what a find!
You see the word "German" in the title and you think they would cost an arm and a leg but they don't. They are half the price of a dealership and more knowledgeable and are trustworthy. Mike is a really nice guy and will help you get your car problems straightened out even if you have to take it somewhere else.
He saves me money and heartache time and time again.

I found this place via Yelp from other customers. I am truly impressed with Mike's customer service. This is top notch and hands down the best auto repair shop I've seen. Mike and his staff were great in helping us get back into our car in a timely manner. He didn't try to sell us on fixing other things and was honest the whole time. Took my VW in for an oil change and they checked my Check Engine light for free as well as notified me of a non-VW-certified oil filter used at my last oil change.
My car runs noticeably better and smoother, plus they offered to install a replacement fog light I have lying around for free! Just wish I could get here before work, but they do have early/late night drop offs as well.

These guys are awesome! My dad's starter went out on his 2005 325it. So we ordered an OEM replacement & was about to install it, but were pressed for time. I called around to get pricing to have the starter installed & Mike gave us the best price anywhere. Had the work done & upon arrival to pick it up they pointed out a few missing fasteners under the car & replaced them at no extra charge! Also, they let us know of all the issues that needed to be addressed. Will be going back here for sure! Anyone that needs BMW service or repair should definitely consider this shop!!

An outstanding experience. I was a little apprehensive selecting a shop for my FIRST German car for its FIRST service (I've been a Lexus guy for 10 years) and was a sure I was going to have to resort to the dealer.... I did some research and asked around. I called A&B to "interview" the shop not twice but 3 times and finally booked my appointment.
What I found was a shop where the owner has established a business everyone would be proud to frequent. Mike clearly has a passion for what he does and more importantly, he has instilled a sense of responsibility and pride with his already talented staff.
Long story short, if you're going to buy a high end car, you're going to need people you can trust to make sure it's properly maintained. And if you're going to invest that much (not just monetarily) in a vehicle make sure that the people maintaining it have enough passion, dilligence and education to make sure its done right.
After my first time with A&B I will always be an A&B customer.

I just took my VW in the other day to have A & B German Car Care look at my drivers side window (would fight me to roll back up). Initially, I paid Roseville VW Service a $90 diagnostic fee to tell me that my window regulator would need to be replaced for $560. A & B German Car Care just made some minor adjustments for FREE and now my window works. I appreciate that they are willing to give this a try before charging me an arm and a leg for a part and labor that may or may not yet be needed. Thank you Mike!!

First of all, if you own a BMW...you really MUST have A & B German Car Care take care of your car! The customer service and the repair service is outstanding...I took my 2004 M3 in for a routine 90k service, but at the last minute needed them to look at a rear suspension problem that SHOULD have been caught and fixed by the dealership prior to them aligning my car (which cost me yet another set of rear tires because they "aligned" my car when the bushings were shot!). Mike was in touch with me often about the repair and their findings...let me know about a few things that at some point, would need to be replaced or fixed...he didn't try to "scare" sell me on having them done right then and there, but let me know sometime in the future these things would need to be addressed. As a female with little knowledge of cars, that in itself sold me on A & B German Car Care! I've had my car back for a couple weeks now and haven't had any problems with it...and talk about a difference in how it handles now that its fixed finally! They now have a customer for life!

I have heard that a BMW can last beyond 200k miles. I was beginning to wonder if mine would. At 125k, I was afraid things were going to start breaking; it just didn't feel right. We had taken it to the dealer for service until it hit 100k. We took it to a couple other places for service since, but weren't impressed.
A & B was an entirely different experience. Mike explained to me the things that needed to be done and why, and even showed me some things. My little 330ci drives like a new car now. It is very comforting to know that my car will be cared for by an expert.

Mike (and team) are serious pros and he lives up to his credentials (BMW/Dinan). I went in because a spark plug had worked loose and caused havoc; threading the socket, melted / disintegrated the coil pack and boot and even melted the outside of the wiring harness. It did not look pretty! Mike had me back up and running in less than a day sounding as good as new for a little over $500 (avoiding a costly cylinder head replacement). I got status updates texted to me and photos of the damage emailed plus dropped off and picked up after. I could not have lucked out more finding Mike/A & B German after the traumatic drive the previous evening. I would even consider driving up from the bay area to get work done here.

Recently as I came out of church my BMW wouldn't start. New to the area I was lost on what to do. I had my BMW serviced at A&B German Car Care and really felt comfortable with Mike whom has great knowledge of BMW's. Being it was Sunday I took a chance called and left a message. Right away I received a call back and he was able to direct me to a Tow Truck Company and I was able to get my car to A&B German Car Care. Mike assured me he would have my BMW looked at first thing Monday morning and give me a call. True to his word I received a call by 8:30 am and was able to get the car fixed and back on the road by 5:30 p.m.that night. I really am thankful for the great service I received and the honest care of my BMW. Thank You your 10 stars in my book.

Recently took my VW Jetta to be serviced. Decided to take it here instead of the dealer. After talking with Mike, I immediately felt comfortable having them service my car. I have been taking my much beloved BMW to Mike for years, and I would not dream of taking it anywhere else! Mike and his crew are the only people I trust to keep my car in pristine operating condition. Mike is not only super knowledgable about BMWs, but is extremely honest and really tries to save the customer money whenever he can.
A & B is my go-to place no matter how big or small the needs of my car. I drive a lot, and need my car to be safe. I feel like Mike really looks out for me while explaining everything and giving me options.
